My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our fall vacation at this cabin! Everything was neat and clean upon arrival. The cabin was well stocked with what we needed. The bedrooms were spacious. Gorgeous views! The cabin is beautiful and peaceful! Everyone that I have spoken to regarding the cabin was wonderfully helpful and friendly! Overall great experience and we will definitely be returning.
We had a great stay at the house. The view was amazing and we enjoyed the fire pit, rocking chairs on the porches and swing. The hot tub looked nice but we never got in. The house was very clean and well equipped. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very nice. There were only two drawbacks. The first was the road to the house was a typical mountain road but not easy to navigate in the dark. The second was the bunk beds in the basement. It was suffucient for the kids but was squeaky and hard to climb. However, we would love to go back for another vacation!
Our stay at Deer Creek was great. We enjoyed a relaxing couples weekend in Helen. The cabin offered amenities to grill in while the town offered fun things to do out.
The downstairs is much cooler but the hot tub makes up for that. Parking was a little confusing upon arrival so when trying to unlock what we thought was out cabin, a man greeted us with a gun. Just protecting him and his wife naturally but still startling.
But those things were minor and circumstantial. I would definitely recommend the stay!
The view was the highlight of the cabin. There are 2 floors & a basement. We were 2 couples sharing this cabin for Valentine's weekend. We had no privacy because the bedrooms were right next to each other & also shared the same balcony. The pool table is located in the basement which was too cold to enjoy even with the heater turned up. I give this cabin 3 stars being that it was only average...nothing to write home about.
