If you want fresh finishes with a safe and unmatched location, look no further! Our secure and private 3 bedroom/4 bathroom first floor apartment is located in our beautiful, newly restored home in the heart of Uptown New Orleans. We are located between Magazine St. with its wide array of shopping, dining, bars, art galleries and antiques and St. Charles Avenue with its historic New Orleans streetcar line and 5-10 minute taxi to the French Quarter, and a short walk to the uptown Mardi Gras parade route. The Magazine St. bus service, which can easily get you all the way downtown and uptown, is also very clean, cheap, and efficient and a stop is a short walk.

Everything in this unit is new- all the beds, mattresses, furniture etc. This unit has an open living/dining/kitchen area with its own private full bathroom, complete with granite counters and stainless appliances. The unit can accommodate 6 people comfortably. Bedroom 1 has a king bed and private full bathroom; Bedroom 2 has one king bed and a private full bath; Bedroom 3 has one queen bed with a private bathroom. That's right, every bedroom has its own private/full bathroom!! The apartment is fully furnished and renovated with brand new appliances, furniture and fixtures, along with all the silverware, utensils, plates, and linens you will ever need during your stay being provided. Wifi internet access and cable HD/TV is provided. Central air and heat. Washer/dryer is also in the apartment for your use (and a couple of detergent pods).

We provide travel size shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, and soap in each bathroom, as well as enough Keurig coffee pods for two days of coffee, sugar, spenda, creamer, etc for your coffee. There is also a full sized coffee pot with filters if you prefer, though you will need to provide your own coffee. If there is something that you may need during your stay, please let us know, and we will do our best to provide it!

Our family lives in the top 2 floors of the house, so we are on site to accommodate any needs you might have, and we love to help our visitors with local color on shopping, dining, and sightseeing, directions and other hot local tips. However, the unit has its own private entrance, so you can have as much or as little interaction with us as you like. The property gated. Ample on-street parking is available right in front of the property; parking is never a problem in our neighborhood. We prefer stays of 30 days or longer.

Your privacy is very important to us. We realize some may be hesitant to rent accommodations from individuals. To allay any concerns you may have, we are always happy to show the property to friends or family ahead of your visit, and you can always talk directly with us as well.

We are honest, long standing New Orleanians, and our word is our bond. We'll do our very best to be honest and fair in the process and allay any fears you may have. If we accept your rental fee funds, then the rental is yours, period. That is how we roll.

Absolutely no smoking inside or outside. Any smoking inside will result in immediate request to vacate with loss of deposit. Guests are also asked to be respectful of the neighbors. Should guests become loud or disruptive to the extent that we believe it is negatively impacting neighbors (or neighbors complain), we will ask you to immediately vacate with loss of deposit. No unregistered guests allowed on premises without advance permission from owners. No events or parties on property.

The perfect place

The house is beautiful, the beds are very comfortable, and everything was clean. Also in a safe location, walking distance on magazine st. (A street over)and a close ride to bourbon.

Nicole and Jason were very helpful and accommodating to our needs. They helped us plan things to do and were there whenever we needed them.

Definitely would stay again!

Perfect for our Girlfriends Getaway trip!

There were 5 of us in our group and this unit matched our needs perfectly. The website description is quite informative and accurate. The unit is very well-appointed and clean, with plenty of amenities, including comfortable beds (2 kings + 1 queen), and a full bath for each of the 3 bedrooms, plus another full bath off the living room. (4 bathrooms ... wow!) We're all seniors, so another plus was that there were no steps to deal with.

We loved the location of this house ... it's in a quiet and lovely neighborhood situated near the edge of the Garden District and within walking distance to both Magazine Street and the St. Charles streetcar line. We had a rental car we used for some sightseeing excursions (street parking was never a problem near the house). That said, we opted to use the streetcar for our excursions into the French Quarter ... parking can be challenging there. The streetcar is a fun way to see the city (and people-watch) ... and, as seniors, it only cost us each 40 cents per ride!

We felt very safe and secure in this neighborhood .... and considered it an added bonus that the owners live above this unit. Throughout the process of renting the unit, checking in, staying in the unit, and then checking out, Nicole and Jason were responsive and helpful.

I have no reservations about highly recommending this unit ... it certainly was perfect for us!

I think the best thing I can say about this rental is that it is exactly as portrayed on the website, so no surprises. There is a lot of space, it's very well maintained, well stocked with little yet important things like soap, a Keurig and a Mr. Coffee coffeemakers with pods and filters, and kitchen tools, etc. The location was very good for us, a very lovely block and neighborhood just off Magazine Street. There was always parking available on the block. And our hosts couldn't have been nicer, more responsive or easy to get along with. An excellent experience overall.

Beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood, close to public transportation.

The home was beautiful and the upgrades were wonderfully done. It was spotlessly clean and the beds were so comfortable. Nicole and her family were friendly and helpful on where to go and how to get around. The property was gated and secure. The neighborhood was quiet and the homes around us were lovely. I would highly recommend you stay here whether it's your first time visiting NOLA or if you are returning visitor and want to stay in the Garden District.

A Perfect Rental !!

This is a wonderful 3BR Apartment (w/4 Baths), with beautiful landscaping/garden at a great location, with very attentive, helpful hosts.

We arrived and were met by Jason (owner), who explained locks, entry codes, the lay of the land, while offering as much (or as little) assistance as we'd like during our stay. The next morning I inquired about how to properly operate the Keurig coffee machine--it was an older model. Unexpectedly, by that afternoon a NEW Keurig coffee brewer appeared in our kitchen. Jason explained that a previous guest also had difficulty operating the older machine, so a new one was purchased. I had noticed that an earlier reviewer (who thoroughly enjoyed her stay) had mentioned that the shower heads in 2 of the Baths were the only items she felt needed upgrading. According to our party's occupying couples, the shower heads were perfect, having already been addressed.

This level of attention places Nicole + Jason at the top of a SHORT list of owners who not only listen to their guests, but actually address their concerns for FUTURE guests.

The apartment is a place that would provide as comfortable a stay for 2 weeks as it did for our 4 days. The Kitchen is modernly equipped with all the conveniences and furnishings you'd want for either a short or extended visit. The unit also contains 3 TVs (2 in BRs, 1 in LR), but the real eye-opener is each BR having it's own bath (plus a 4th located off the LR). Don't underestimate this!! Anything less creates a 'musical chairs' scenario that can add HOURS to the day's/evening's preps. This design was a stroke of genius. Kudos for this and the overall operation. It was a delight to stay here.

Our neighborhood offers the best of New Orleans. We are just between Magazine street and all of its amazing shopping (antiques and clothes) and St. Charles Avenue and the famous street car linein Uptown New Orleans. However, should you want enjoy the French Quarter and all it has to offer, we are a short (7 to 10 minute) cab ride away. Of course, you could also take the street car.
