1510- Bear Tree Hideaway
This cabin home was PERFECT for our group of 6 adults plus kids! Spacious rooms, very comfortable and plenty of room for snow play in the yard. Though we had severe winter weather and difficulty getting to the top of the mountain, it was a great experience. We will be back!
My family and I spent 4 days and 3 nights in this cabin. We had a great time and the cabin was in excellent condition. We had a total of 10 family members (with two of those children under the age of 2). The cabin was roomy enough for all of us. We especially loved the family room that housed a pool table and games/movies. This was everyone's favorite room. The kitchen was nice and big and contained all the utensils we needed to cook our meals. Another plus was the large Jacuzzi. The temperature was perfect! The fenced yard was perfect for our dog who also came along on the trip. The cabin is located in a quiet and nice neighborhood close to Bear Mountain. We will definitely look to rent this cabin next year when we come back for our annual trip to Big Bear.
The kitchen was very nice for preparing meals. The heating was spotty upstairs. Kids were cold in the bunk bed room. The main remote for the TV in that room was missing so couldn't use it at all. A circuit breaker needed to be replaced on Thanksgiving day. That circuit controlled pretty much everything upstairs. The repairman was wonderful and got the electricity and wifi back for us before noon. There were a couple of outlets that didn't work and he fixed those too. After those problems were taken care of things were better. I was disappointed with the property until then. As we were finding problems for our first few days.
