This wonderful, quiet little cabin is tucked in behind your hosts’ home. Although there are other homes around the cabin you will enjoy the feel of being in the country. The trees surrounding the house are plentiful and the outdoor picnic area is perfect for enjoying nature.
Inside is a large open living room and kitchen offering hill country decor. The living room has a comfy leather sofa (also a sleeper bed) and over sized chair—both are placed to enjoy the cable television. A fully equipped kitchen is large and perfect for those quiet evenings when you just want to stay in! The kitchen has a large refrigerator, range/oven and microwave. There is also a wonderful wood table that seats four.
A queen sleigh bed is in the bedroom topped with a coverlet and decorative pillows. Two wicker chairs and a table are found in the bedroom for that quiet reading time. The bath has a shower. Adjacent to the bathroom is laundry room complete with a washer and dryer.
A wonderful highlight of this home is the screened porch just outside the living room. Enjoy nature in all seasons at the table for four. It is inviting and waiting for your arrival.

We have lived in the Hill Country for seven years and really enjoy all the beauty and wildlife. I am retired which allows me to take care of the rental and get in a game of golf every now & then. My wife had the opportunity to transfer here with her job which opened the door for us to move here. We hope you enjoy this beautiful area as much as we do.
For several summers we helped our local lions club transport kids in need to the Kerrville Lions Club Camp. We often talked about how we would like to retire here and with my wife getting the chance to relocate here with her job our dream was answered.
We enjoy being a short drive to Kerrville and many great restuarants, museums, live plays, golf and much more.
Adventures: Great Hill Country get away for me and my wife.
Restaurants: Cooked meals in cabin.
Thoughts to share: Loved your cabin. Thanks!
Me and my Daughter was looking for a quite, place to get away for spring break, and not break the bank. After coming across the DUBL-C information and reading the reviews, i knew it was the perfect place. We arrived and can i just say Wow! It was the perfect place to rent for the week. I admit we didn't get a chance to meet the owners, but that was more me not wanting to intrude lol. It was quite, and the view was just wonderful. Also there was alot of deer, and drinking coffee on the porch in the morning was a real treat. I plan to go again and bring my husband this time. They have everything you would need, from kitchen tools to bathroom items, even snacks! We was very impressed, Thank You!!
These people are very easy to work with. I overpaid as I paid for three nights instead of getting the 3rd night free, however, I didn't notice it. The owners were nice enough to let me know they were reimbursing for that 3rd night! I also forgot to mention there was a nice covered parking area for our truck as well as room for to park the motorcycle trailer. The owners didn't miss a thing when it came to equipping this property for guests.
I spend a lot of time researching places to stay before I book, and I couldn't have been happier with our accommodations at this wonderful cabin. The owners/hosts (who live in the larger house on the property) thought of everything including snacks and some frozen breakfast treats along with providing milk, orange juice, water, k-cups, creamer, etc. They didn't miss a thing. The bed was comfy, the washer and dryer came in handy after a rainy motorcycle ride, and they had plenty of reading material tucked away everywhere. The décor was very nice in the living area accentuated by a comfy leather couch and recliner. There was a breakfast bar, kitchen table as well as a table out on the porch to choose from if you wanted to eat in and take advantage of a nice fully equipped kitchen. The cabin was clean, clean, clean and the screened in porch was an added extra to sit and watch the deer play. Definitely worth a stay and the price can't be beat, and we took advantage of the stay 2 nights get 3rd night free! We will be back. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
My family and I have stay at their Dubl-C Guest House several times during the past year. It's perfect, inviting, quiet, peaceful, convenient, affordable, private, clean, well equipted, beautiful setting, relaxing. We will return again and again.
We have now stayed several times at this rental , winter, spring and now late summer. All stays have been Excellent with no problems. Always consistent with all the comforts of home. This visit we actually cooked and grilled just like at home, everything is there, clean and exactly what you need. Coffee in a variety along with milk, juice, and light breakfast sandwiches help to get the morning going. The washer and dryer are a plus as we usually are outside during our stay and nice to throw in a load of wash. The cabin is always surrounded by a herd of beautiful deer. Also parking under the carport is nice with the many rains there. Off from the busy highway just far enough to be peaceful yet close enough to town. We will stay again and again as this is the best rental we have stayed in over many years in the area. The owners are wonderful and always helpful and responsive if you need them. I would highly recommend this cabin to stay if you are in the area.
We stayed at the Dubl-C while we were in Kerrville visiting my husband's family, and this place was great! Every convenience was provided, and the owners have thought of everything! We were busy with family, so we didn't get to spend much time at the cabin, but the time we were there was awesome. I did not personally meet the owners, however my husband met the man and said he was an extremely nice man. This place is quiet and comfortable, and so much nicer and bigger than a hotel room. The price was amazing! If I had to say anything negative, it would be that the Wifi was not working, but that was definitely not a deal breaker! Everything else was superb, and we hope to return to the Dubl-C next time we are in the area.
