This wonderful, quiet little cabin is tucked in behind your hosts’ home. Although there are other homes around the cabin you will enjoy the feel of being in the country. The trees surrounding the house are plentiful and the outdoor picnic area is perfect for enjoying nature.
Inside is a large open living room and kitchen offering hill country decor. The living room has a comfy leather sofa (also a sleeper bed) and over sized chair—both are placed to enjoy the cable television. A fully equipped kitchen is large and perfect for those quiet evenings when you just want to stay in! The kitchen has a large refrigerator, range/oven and microwave. There is also a wonderful wood table that seats four.
A queen sleigh bed is in the bedroom topped with a coverlet and decorative pillows. Two wicker chairs and a table are found in the bedroom for that quiet reading time. The bath has a shower. Adjacent to the bathroom is laundry room complete with a washer and dryer.
A wonderful highlight of this home is the screened porch just outside the living room. Enjoy nature in all seasons at the table for four. It is inviting and waiting for your arrival.

We have lived in the Hill Country for seven years and really enjoy all the beauty and wildlife. I am retired which allows me to take care of the rental and get in a game of golf every now & then. My wife had the opportunity to transfer here with her job which opened the door for us to move here. We hope you enjoy this beautiful area as much as we do.
For several summers we helped our local lions club transport kids in need to the Kerrville Lions Club Camp. We often talked about how we would like to retire here and with my wife getting the chance to relocate here with her job our dream was answered.
We enjoy being a short drive to Kerrville and many great restuarants, museums, live plays, golf and much more.
Adventures: Great Hill Country get away for me and my wife.
Restaurants: Cooked meals in cabin.
Thoughts to share: Loved your cabin. Thanks!
This is a wonderful find. We love the Hill Country area, and this place is like visiting an old friend. It is so cozy and quiet. We love it. While my husband rode his motorcycle, I stayed in and watched nature evolve outside the screened in porch. Great place to kick back, catch up on reading, watch the deer graze peacefully by and just enjoy the down time far away from the busy Dallas Ft Worth area! We will come back to this place every time if it is available. It's got wonderful amenities--eat in kitchen, walk in shower, washer and dryer, screened in porch, flat screen tv, ample parking for a motorcycle trailer, covered parking for your vehicle, etc. The owner also leaves a bottle or two of wine to enjoy as well as snacks, frozen breakfast items, bottled water, candy, soda, etc. Amazing value and gracious hosts.
The Dubl-C Guest House is amazing. We had a wonderful time! The area is amazing, the house feels like home and the owners are close if needed but not intrusive at all. Coffee on the back screened in porch in the mornings, listening to the song birds and watching the deer graze was amazing. Watching a family of wrens nearby feed, and cardinals too was so relaxing. The bed is comfortable, the shower hot and the house comes stocked with goodies in the fridge and a Keurig for the morning hot coffee pick me up. The Guest house is close to Kerrville and Fredrickburg for sight-seeing and tourist shopping. We stayed here a total of 5 nights and loved every minute of the stay. The area is wonderful and the cabin will be hard to leave. We will be coming back here again. We have found our new regular vacation cabin for next year. We are already planning to see if we can get away and come back again this year!
Our family spent one night at the Dubl-C guest house. The moment we walked into the house we felt at home. The kids loved the snack food & we enjoyed watching the deer nearby. The cabin was very clean & comfortable. The property is beautiful. There were many DVDs to choose from & we enjoyed a family night movie. I highly recommend staying here & I hope to return in the near future. Thank you for a great night away!
Me and my Daughter was looking for a quite, place to get away for spring break, and not break the bank. After coming across the DUBL-C information and reading the reviews, i knew it was the perfect place. We arrived and can i just say Wow! It was the perfect place to rent for the week. I admit we didn't get a chance to meet the owners, but that was more me not wanting to intrude lol. It was quite, and the view was just wonderful. Also there was alot of deer, and drinking coffee on the porch in the morning was a real treat. I plan to go again and bring my husband this time. They have everything you would need, from kitchen tools to bathroom items, even snacks! We was very impressed, Thank You!!
These people are very easy to work with. I overpaid as I paid for three nights instead of getting the 3rd night free, however, I didn't notice it. The owners were nice enough to let me know they were reimbursing for that 3rd night! I also forgot to mention there was a nice covered parking area for our truck as well as room for to park the motorcycle trailer. The owners didn't miss a thing when it came to equipping this property for guests.
I spend a lot of time researching places to stay before I book, and I couldn't have been happier with our accommodations at this wonderful cabin. The owners/hosts (who live in the larger house on the property) thought of everything including snacks and some frozen breakfast treats along with providing milk, orange juice, water, k-cups, creamer, etc. They didn't miss a thing. The bed was comfy, the washer and dryer came in handy after a rainy motorcycle ride, and they had plenty of reading material tucked away everywhere. The décor was very nice in the living area accentuated by a comfy leather couch and recliner. There was a breakfast bar, kitchen table as well as a table out on the porch to choose from if you wanted to eat in and take advantage of a nice fully equipped kitchen. The cabin was clean, clean, clean and the screened in porch was an added extra to sit and watch the deer play. Definitely worth a stay and the price can't be beat, and we took advantage of the stay 2 nights get 3rd night free! We will be back. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
