Wonderful property

  • 5 of 5

This property had a lovely view and all the comforts of home. We really enjoyed the location and being so close to Greenville. We visited in early fall so could not take advantage of the kayaks and canoe but it was great they were available. The property was very clean and the owner was easy to get ahold of and work with. Thank you for a lovely stay. We really enjoyed it. We saw 19 moose during our stay which was a HUGE bonus for us!

Relaxing and comfortable

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful stay in this great home. Convenient walk to town, beautiful views, spacious and well appointed. Enjoyed the kayaks, hot tub, fire pit and deck. Michael is great to work with and arranged a slip for our boat at the dock next door. Fantastic vacation home, we look forward to another stay.

Wonderful lake house!!

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful time during our stay at Moosehead Lake. The house was incredibly clean when we arrived!! We did quite a bit of cooking during our stay and we were pleasantly surprised to find that the kitchen had essentially every item we needed for cooking and dining. We were able to spend more time doing the things we wanted to be doing rather than having to run out to grab that one missing thing.

We really enjoyed being able to use the hot tub on rainy days since it was covered by the upper deck! So even on the few rainy days we had, we were able to relax in the hot tub and enjoy the scenic views of the lake and mountains. It was breathtaking! We enjoyed taking the canoe out and really being able to experience the lake. My husband woke up early every morning to enjoy his morning outings on the canoe.

Downtown is close enough to walk and enjoy the social life of the restaurants and shops in the downtown area, but you still are able to enjoy the quiet isolation of the house and property if that is what you are looking for. It’s the best of both worlds! We definitely recommend visiting the Spotted Cat Winery (great dessert wine selections!) along with many of the other local attractions.

We cannot say enough about our time here, we had an amazing trip. We are already looking forward to our next trip here, Mike is a great host! We definitely recommend staying here if you have the chance.

Another great stay!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here a year ago and loved it so much we came back this year too! We enjoyed it just as much if not more! The house is perfect with all of the amenities that you would need. The hot tub was a delight on a cool night and we enjoyed renting a jet ski for a day and being able to tie it up to the dock at the house. We hope to make this an annual tradition!

Moosehead Vacation

  • 5 of 5

Family and I had an awesome stay! Mike was probably the most attentive owner I have dealt with.

House was extremely clean-very roomy and had more then enough amenities.

The hot tub was excellent-the gas grill worked great and the fire pit was a great way to end the day.

The house is located a short walk to downtown -which is great to walk around and get something to eat.

We had a boat with us and the boat ramp was excellent and Mike provided a boat slip that worked out perfectly. The slip was a short ride from the boat launch.

Fishing was slow which is very typical for this time of year but we managed to land a few.

Very relaxing vacation-will try to get back next year!

I highly recommend this property.

Great waterfront location with outstanding view of the lake, mountains, and sunsets.

House and property were clean and neat. Deck is a great place for evening chill-lax with your favorite beverage and watch the sun go down. For even more evening relaxation the hot tub rental is a must.
