Beautiful home and location!

  • 5 of 5

Our family had an amazing vacation, and we all loved coming back at the end of the day to our beautiful "home base" for the week. The house is very clean and plenty of room for my family of five. The kids loved the kayaks and the ducks. Sunsets on the lake by the firepit (as fireworks went off behind our house!) are especially memorable. We spent the week visiting Mt. Kineo, (made it to the top of the fire tower! yikes, but what a view!) the B-52 crash site, taking a seaplane tour with Jack, and even managed to squeeze in an overnight to Acadia National Park for some rock climbing, and a hike up the Beehive. We had a wonderful, quiet, adventurous week that our family is not soon to forget! Hope to be back one day!

Excellent home!!

  • 5 of 5

The house was exactly as shown in the pictures and even more!! This was by far the best vacation and vacation home we have ever stayed in, absolutely loved it and the amenities that were provided. We all hated to go home! We enjoyed eating dinner on the dock or on the deck looking out at the lake and having a fire at night. The house was very clean and up to date, it shows that Mike cares about this house. We really enjoyed the family photos that were left there. Would highly recommend this home and we will definitely be back! We ate all but 1 meal at the house (went to Kelly's Landing which was excellent as well). We came for four wheeling and there was trail access right at the house and we could ride to the grocery store as well. Loved that the area wasn't a big tourist destination, there was very little traffic and everybody was so friendly we came upon. Was a pleasure working with Mike and he was always available when we had a question.

Perfect vacation home and property...everyone wishes we were still there!

  • 5 of 5

The house and property are actually better than the pictures. The house was also much larger than expected and it easily accommodated our three children with room to spare. The house is very well maintained and was very clean upon our arrival. The view is spectacular from everywhere and we especially loved having our coffee and hot chocolate on the deck each morning while looking at the beautiful lake, mountains, ducks, geese and loons. The sunsets were spectacular too. Everything you need is only 5 minutes away in the quaint town of Greenville (the kids loved breakfast at Auntie M's). We enjoyed a moose safari (and saw a moose), the Katahdin, the B-52 crash site and Lily Bay state park. The best part of each day was the time spent at the house, swimming in the lake, going in the hot tub, canoeing and having a fire in the fire pit each night and making smores and star gazing at the incredible amount of stars in the Maine sky. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful Property

  • 5 of 5

We have rented several different properties from Maine to Florida over the past 5+ years and this was by far the nicest one we have ever stayed at. The home was very well maintained, cleaner upon arrival than any we have ever rented. The property is truly walking distance from distance (listing tend to over embellish distances, this was spot on). From the private dock, to the hot tub, to the on property swing set for our young daughter, to the washer and dryer on premises, the place really had every ammenity you could hope for in a vacation rental. We completely enjoyed the use of the 6 kayaks (we only need 3!). The owner was easily accessible for a couple of questions we had and really a pleasure to deal with from the initial reservation to the return of the security deposit. We would highly recommend this property. Our only hesitation in writing this review, is we hope it does not impact availability when we come back to Greenvile! :) We would want to stay here again in a heartbeat.

Beautiful, peaceful property....we loved it!

  • 5 of 5

Wonderful view on the lake, we loved everything about this trip. The house was very clean and really had everything you could ask for. We paid extra for the hot tub and we were glad we did, we used it most days on our week long stay. Cannot say enough good things about this property and Greenville, Maine-highly recommend!
