I purchased this log home on 10 acres because I wanted some space and needed some room for my dogs. It is a great place with easy access from Highway 84, and just a quick 5 minute drive into downtown Pagosa Springs. My 2800 square foot home has a 1000 square foot 'annex' which is my rental property. It has a separate entrance, is totally private, and very quiet.

What makes this house unique

I love to watch the horses grazing in the pasture next door in the evening. Many deer also traverse the property, plus numerous birds are attracted to my feeders year-round.

My dog Pandy and I stayed here the month of August and loved it. The unit was clean and well stocked. The owner is a hard working lady but always takes time to answer any questions and provide advice. We say deer every day and even had a bear one day. The dog run along with a split screen made the trip for Pandy and she loved Peggy's dog Pete. Very private but only 5 miles from town via hwy. Loved watching the birds at feeders. Thank you Peggy for sharing you home with us.

A little slice of heaven.

So peaceful. Perfect place for someone traveling with their pet. Very quiet location far enough from town to provide peace and quiet, yet close enough (short drive to downtown) to enjoy a daily trip to your favorite restaurant or coffee shop. The owner/manager, Peggy, is the best! Thoroughly enjoyed walking my dog on the property and playing fetch with him in the pasture! Fantastic views from the top of the hill!

Loved it!

Owner "Peggy" very nice and very active.

Duplex was clean and much larger that the pictures portray.

We were able to cook our meals with the items in the kitchenette and there were cups, plates, silverware and utensils available.

Great fenced in backyard with a dog house, we even added a dog bed and left for the next pet.

We found our place to stay from now on:-)
