About Tony

We are a family who live in Denver and love the mountains! With three young children, this is a fantastic way for them to experience the mountains and for us to escape every once in a while without the kids!

Tony purchased this cabin in 2012

Why Tony chose Front Range Colorado

It is easy to get to - one hour from Denver - but is off the beaten path. The road is paved until about the last half mile, and there are nearby amenities, or we can be as secluded as we would like.

What makes this cabin unique

Few properties actually border the national forest. While we call this our cabin, it could also easily be a year-round house with all of the comforts of home.

Fabulous Bailey Mountain Retreat

  • 5 of 5

We had a marvelous time and found the cabin just perfect for our needs. It was a quiet and restful vacation. Tony, the owner, is great to work with. He answered all our questions promptly and also emailed us excellent arrival and departure instructions and explanations of where to find things, phone numbers, etc before we left home to help us while at the cabin. That was a big plus.

My husband and I, along with my niece and her fiancé, just spent a week in the Bailey Mountain House. There was plenty of room in this cabin. Actually, it was like having two separate accommodations. The upstairs had a king bedroom, bunk bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, and living/sitting room with fireplace. The downstairs/basement had a king bedroom, separate bath, and large sitting room with a big screen TV. It backs onto the Pike National Forest and has plenty of hiking paths at your doorstep, as well as, ATV trails. We had morning coffee each day and afternoon cocktail hour on the wrap around deck which has a propane grill and a charcoal webber grill. We celebrated my husband's 70th birthday by grilling steaks and roasting marshmallows for s'mores in the fire pit which is also provided. The design of this mountain home had a lot of natural light with floor to ceiling windows in the upstairs. Several afternoons a family of mule deer wondered in the backyard which gave us Kodak moments. There is also great wifi in the cabin and we had no problem with cell service while there. FYI, on your first visit, try to arrive during the daylight hours, if possible, as it can be a little tricky finding the road to the cabin in the dark.

Will be definitely coming back here..

Awesome place

Location near to Denver.. just 60 mins away..

Cabin is just too perfect for family get togethers

Thanks Tony!

Only thing i didnt like is Trash while leaving we have to carry it...i have hatchback and keeping trash bags in trunk while coming back was pathetic. Like many other cabins to, it will be great if you provide facility to keep trash in Cabin only / or nearer to cabin.

We had such a wonderful time in Bailey, Colorado. We spent Thanksgiving with family at Tony's cabin and everything was absolutely perfect! Tony was fantastic! Everything was perfect when we got there and their cabin is wonderful! Can't say enough.....we plan to return! We did some hiking close by and thoroughly enjoyed the views. Awesome experience!

Peaceful relaxing get away!

  • 5 of 5

This property was wonderful, it was very close to the four wheeler trails and not far from Denver to enjoy other activities. The house was well equipped with everything you could need when away from home. I can not put into words the enjoyment we had while staying here, gathering as a family outside on the deck while enjoying the beautiful scenery and the evenings under the stars were incredible!

Wonderful getaway!

  • 5 of 5

What a perfect blend of mountain retreat and convenient amenities. Our family loved waking up to mountain sunrises, sitting on the huge deck watching wild birds and hummingbirds eat from the feeders, and deer passing though 20yds away. Star gazing at night is breathtaking. The hiking into the national forest right out the back door gave us amazing views and memories. This place is A+. Thanks for everything Tony!

Great place to stay

  • 5 of 5

Very peaceful, great size, central to many activities but with a feeling of being far from everything. 4 adults and 3 kids, we had plenty of room. Will stay again if we get down that way in the future.
