WE ARE NOW ACCEPTING RESERVATIONS! OUR HURRICANE MATTHEW REPAIRS ARE COMPLETE! Escape from the commonplace, come to Harbor Island, South Carolina. Uncrowded beaches, serene surroundings, fishing, crabbing, shrimping, bird watching and the most beautiful sunrises over the Atlantic Ocean. Harbor Island is located next to South Carolina's most popular state park, Hunting Island State Park. We are only a few minutes from downtown Beaufort and Parris Island. It is approx. 90 minutes from Charleston, SC and one hour from Savannah, GA and Hilton Head Island SC. Atlanta, Georgia is only a five hour drive and Jacksonville, Florida is an even closer drive. Disney World is a five hours and forty minute drive.

If you like privacy and seclusion you won't go wrong if you stay at our home. It is one of the most private lots on the island. You are hidden from the streets with a tidal creek running along our property. You can pull up a chair about 10 feet on the other side of our fence, and fish to your heart's delight. We have caught large spot tail bass, walked in the house and had fish for dinner.

Our home has a fantastic view overlooking the marsh to the Atlantic Ocean. Our favorite mornings consist of having coffee or tea on the upper deck and watching the sunrise as the sun comes up out of the ocean. After the sun puts on it's morning show, you'll see shore birds and sea birds as they fly pass you on their way to their foraging areas. Occasionally we've seen an alligator or dophin in the creek.

Our home will accommodate six people. It has 3 bedrooms (1 king bed, 1 queen bed, 1 twin beds), 3 baths, greatroom, kitchen, breakfast room, dining room, den, sunroom, upper deck, lower deck, ground level patio, and two car garage. It also has a parking area outside and a circular drive that will accommodate about six cars. The house is beautifully decorated with a casual but classy nautical flair. It can be rented for a minimum of one week or a maximum of five months. No smoking, and no pets please. Golf cart added recently for your enjoyment. The Beaufort Gazette newspaper is also delivered daily.

We don't have a dock but fishing is accessible from the banks of the tidewater creek a few feet from the house.

Absolutely wonderful.. The house exceeded our expectations both in size and amenities. The location was perfect in that it was secluded and quiet but within walking distance to some of the amenities that the community offered. We loved spending time on the enclosed porch in the mornings, watching the osprey that came almost every day to perch on the neighbors dock looking for his next meal. Favorite places to visit were beachcombing on Hunting Island, the museum at Parris Island and walking the beautiful beach on Harbor Island. The golf cart which is included in the rental was great !! ( you could walk to the beach from the house, but sometimes it was fun to ride and park at Beach Access #1.) And of course, if you are into alligators, there are several fenced in areas where they can be observed. We would highly recommend this rental home as it provided us with lots of room to relax and enjoy!! We hope to return again !!

Absolutely Beautiful!!!!

My family and I have stayed here many time. It is has beautiful views of the ocean. You can catch crabs and fish right from the back yard!!! No place is cleaner. We will return.
