This is a beautiful condo in a high-quality building: huge windows with great views, hardwood floors, granite countertops and stainless appliances, gas fireplace, a fantastic deck facing the Yampa River and Howelsen Hill, and a heated garage.

It's beautifully furnished with comfortable leather couches and chairs, and quality beds. Unique art is displayed throughout. There's a cozy throw and pillow for everyone, and lots of places to curl up with a book. Or play one of the many games provided.

The master suite contains a king bed, the second suite contains a twin-over-full bunk bed, and there's a comfortable queen-size fold-out sofa in the living room.

The location can't be beat. Enjoy all that Downtown Steamboat has to offer. It's an easy walk to the shops and restaurants. Stroll downstairs to enjoy a spa day, or stop by the sports shop and rent your equipment for the day. Walk half a block to catch the free bus to the Steamboat Ski Area. Feel like cross-country skiing today, or get in a few quick downhill runs? Just cross the river on the nearby pedestrian bridge to Howelsen Hill. You'll also find a great ice skating rink there, and go back after dark for snow tubing. Or walk to one of the many nearby bars with live music. Our favorite: the hot springs pools, just a few blocks away.

Be sure to make use of our electronics. Bring your laptop and catch up on email with our high-speed Wi-Fi. Or use one of the high-def, flat-screen TVs to watch premium cable channels, Apple TV, or log in to your Netflix account. And of course, we've got surround sound.

We can help you arrange for a shuttle from the airport or to the mountain, grocery shopping, rent baby gear, ship your luggage, and more. This is your vacation, do what you love.

About The Owner

We moved to Colorado from the midwest right after college. Our son lives in Steamboat. We found our yellow lab at Bear Creek Labradors in Craig, down the valley.

The Owner purchased this condo in 2011

Why The Owner chose Old Town

Since our lab Buck introduced us to Steamboat we found ourselves drawn back here all the time. Steamboat is the friendliest place we've ever been, and there are so many things to do, in every season. We never get bored.

What makes this condo unique

We love downtown Steamboat. We head across the river to Howelsen Hill first thing in the morning, and end each day with a walk through the downtown neighborhoods. There are so many restaurants and shops to choose from, and we do happy hour whenever we can. The best part of the day: a soak in the hot springs pools. All within easy walking distance.

Great location and comfortable accommodations!

This is our 2nd time staying here and we just love it. It’s a cozy condo with plenty of room for our family of four. The close proximity to all the restaurants downtown makes it super easy to walk to get a meal. We also love that the owner allows dogs; makes traveling so much easier for us!

Wonderful place to stay!

What a great experience. Kathy was a great host. Her directions were easy to follow for arrival. The condo was the perfect size for the four of us. It was SO nice to have basics stocked (detergent, paper goods, basic foods) which simplified our shopping and saved us quite a bit. We loved nearby restaurants - particularly Mountain Tap Brewery and Winona’s. It was so nice to hear the river and be able to cross the street and walk along the path. This was our first trip to Steamboat but we all hope to be back — and to stay at Little Pony.

Wonderful Downtown Locaton ...

The shoulder seasons are the best time of year to be in Steamboat. This location and condo are perfect for getting away and working remote. Easy walk to everything downtown and the library which is an incredible place to work from with its large sunny rooms.

That was a perfect place to spend a week.

Gorgeous apartment in a fantastic location

The Little Pony is a wonderful apartment. It is warm, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The master bedroom and bathroom are a dream, the balcony was delightful, the location is fantastic, and the owners are super hospitable and easy to work with. I wish I could live there all the time. We just loved it.
