Fantastic Getaway!

This is our second year at this home and we couldn't be happier with it. The quiet location is perfect for us as it is a short trip to Chatham,Orleans, and the lower Cape as well as beautiful Harwichport. The neighborhood is wonderful for walking and makes it easy to visit the beach at all times during the day and evening. It also is just a short walk to the shops and restaurants in Harwichport. The house itself is always immaculate ( I am very picky about this) and well appointed, with lots of small touches that make this home away from home especially enjoyable and easy to spend time at. The owner is great to work with and is always responsive right away to any questions that arise. The addition of fencing to the yard this year was a great addition and made it very easy to have our golden retriever with us. We can't wait to return again next year.

Perfect 10 days

  • 5 of 5

My family with 3 girls ages 23,21 and 17 stayed at this great home for 10 days late August through Labor Day. The house was comfortable and sunny and fully equipped with all of the comforts of home. The beach was spectacular and access to beach so convenient. We loved the very short walk to Main St. and never felt the need to get into our cars. We particularly loved The Port Restaurant (just a 5 min walk) where we had $1 oysters almost every night. We are already planning our trip for next year. The owner was very easy to work with and answered emails with any questions within minutes!

Great house

  • 5 of 5

We had a superb time August 2014 in this wonderful home. The pictures are accurate, and the owner was very helpful and accomodating. The house was clean with plenty of towels, utensils, beach chairs, wifi, TV, etc. It is open and light and the 6 of us felt very comfortable and not at all crowded. The porch and back decks are fabulous and we had most meals outside. The beach is just steps aways and we spent most days there with 3 active boys. It's safe for the young ones, but also fun for the older ones who boarded, kayaked, etc. It is private, long, sandy, and provides plenty of room for walks, jogs, sunning. We walked to town for music night, bakeries, toys, ice cream, restaurants, etc. We were able to access the bike path easily, and rarely used our car which was a real break. We can highly recommend this rental.

My family just returned after an absolute idyllic week at this lovely home. Harwichport is centrally located on Cape Cod, an easy drive to anywhere, but you can also never get in your car as it walking distance from the beach and town. We walked to our favorite breakfast nook Bonatt's, and our favorite dinner spot Cape Sea Grille, and off course for the best ice cream spot anywhere, Sundae School! The neighborhood is ideal, my kids rode their bikes all over the neighborhood and back and forth to the beach which is pristine and quiet. The pictures do not do the house justice, it is meticulous and laid out perfectly. My family ranges from 5-68 and there was room for all without feeling crowded. The porch and back deck are heavenly spots. Scott, the owner, was a pleasure to work with. I truly can't say enough, we are already booked for next year!

Perfect Cape Setting

  • 5 of 5

We spent a wonderful week on the Cape in this great rental with 3 adults and 3 children. The house is situated on a quiet street with easy access to the beach and town. Although we had tentatively planned activities to keep the kids entertained, they preferred spending their time on the quiet, private beach and so did the adults! We saw ospreys "fishing" right off the beach which was a thrill. Our oldest boys did a week long clinic with the Chatham Anglers (1.5 hours in the morning) and had fun attending some of the baseball games to cheer on their coaches. On a rainy day we visited the Cape Cod Museum in Brewster and it was wonderful. Our location in Harwich Port made all of the activities within just a few miles. This is the perfect house for a family and we'll look forward to staying again!
