Fallbrook's weather is among the finest on the planet -- at any time of the year. While San Diego averages 146 sunny days each year Fallbrook averages 264. So this really is the place to be!

You'll love this spot in summer or winter. Average temperature in the 70s and 80s all year and we keep the pool heated so you can swim every month of the year.
We look forward to having you as our guests in Fallbrook soon!
Researcher, writer and investor who loves this little slice of heaven! Hope you do too!
Teresa Platt purchased this house in 2003
Have lived all over California and travel extensively. This location is unbeatable. The people are warm and friendly and the weather is amazing any time of the year.
The western-facing location provides beautiful sunsets over the hills and siting on the back patio overlooking open space is gorgeous and quiet.
Love swimming all year round because the climate is so terrific!
Thank you and we look forward to having you as our guests in Fallbrook soon!
We just came back from our 3-night stay at this gorgeous property and can not say enough good things about it! As soon as we entered the house, we all had the same reaction - "that's it, we're never leaving this place!" :) Really, leaving it was the hard part... We loved everything - the house itself, so large but warm and cozy at the same time... each bedroom is very tastefully designed, not to mention the comfortable mattresses. All the bathrooms were done to perfection, with high-end fixtures...and i can go on and on about the kitchen - that butcher's-block countertop stole my heart from the beginning :)) And once you step out on the impossibly-charming patio which sits atop the golf course, you are torn between wanting to stay out there for hours and wanting to go back in and enjoy the great indoors... the pool was also wonderful and we spent most of our time there, having loads of fun. Teresa, the owner, was awesome and made communication super easy, via texting. Anything we needed help with (mainly the pool/spa heating questions) was promptly addressed. Thank you again and we can't wait to come back and stay longer !!
We just arrived home from our stay at Teresa's Fallbrook rental, and we are already missing the pool and spa! Of we could have stayed another half a day, it would have been perfect! Next time I'll need to ask for a later check out.
There were 11 of us including a baby, and there were beds for everyone with room to spare. The house is fully stocked with every amenity provided (from hair dryers and irons to coffee bean grinders and stand mixers). We spent most of our time either in the pool or in the kitchen around the beautiful, oversized butcher block counter. I only wish there were more bar stools to accommodate everyone around the kitchen table.
The rooms were well appointed and clean as were the bathrooms. All our guests said they slept comfortably. The ac is nice, but the temperature in the house stays cool, so we didn't really need it. During the day, we opened the windows and front door and had a nice breeze through the house. At night, we'd close some of the doors to minimize the noise, and we made good use of the trivial pursuit game provided in the den.
The Fallbrook area itself is cute and quiet. We went to a wedding up in the hills with beautiful views. The house sits on a defunct golf course, which basically extends the outdoor area to a much larger "backyard". I went running through the golf course and saw many neighbors walking their dogs. Everyone was very friendly.
Finally, corresponding with Teresa was so easy. Any time we had questions, she would respond to text messages right away. She let us check in an hour early, which was really nice, and after we got settled, she made sure we had everything we needed. Everyone really enjoyed the short time we spent here, so thank you, Teresa, for sharing your home with us!
We had a retreat for a professional organization that we held at this beautiful home. There were 17 of us during the day and 12 that stayed one night, and we found that the premises fit us nicely.
Teresa was extremely helpful and flexible with the arrangements we were making. One of our members forgot his keys at the house, and Teresa was gracious enough to mail them back!
All in all, this was a great place and we would definitely stay again!
This was the perfect home for the wedding weekend. It was close to the venue, so we could relax by the pool and enjoy lovely peaceful meals on the terrace, overlooking the golf course, in between preparations and festivities!
The house has everything you need and is spacious and beautifully clean.
Thank you Teresa for a wonderful weekend!
We stayed here in early August 2016 with 8 adults and 8 children (oldest 15, youngest 4; 4 total families). Overall, we had a wonderful time and would be happy to return.
LOCATION: ~2 hours from Los Angeles, 1 hour from San Diego. Fallbrook is a small, sleepy town so there isn't a ton to do there, but I'd highly recommend the wine tour at the Fallbrook winery. We drove into San Diego several times. Things like Sea World, Lego Land, and the SD zoo are not super close, but doable for sure. It takes some planning.
HOUSE: The house is nice. We are a large group that rents a home together each summer, and we are pretty particular about our lodging. This house has been the best house we have rented to date. We enjoyed the ease of the pool, the separate "guest house", and the big kitchen. The kitchen is well stocked with supplies and is highly functional. We particularly enjoyed the back deck area where we ate most of the meals. Although the golf course wasn't being used at the time of our rental (looked closed for business), the view of the sunset was perfect at dinner time. We actually preferred the closed course because we used it like a humongous backyard! We did have a few comments about the house. (1) We found there weren't enough bathrooms for our crew. There is a full bath in the guest house (we had 5 there) and then two full baths in the main house (for 11 people). Two bathrooms for 11 people wasn't great. (2) There is a small bedroom right off the kitchen that is closed with pocket doors. While the room worked ok for kids, it doesn't afford much privacy. If someone got up early and used the kitchen, the people in that room would inevitably be woken up. (3) We agree with the comments about Verizon not working well, but they did provide a VZ access point that worked OK. The wi-fi was usable, but spotty. I had to reboot the modem nearly every day. It was good enough and also good to take a vacation from the screens!
OWNER: Theresa was great. She is a good communicator and was responsive to problems. For example, a next door neighbor that played loud, explicit music that wasn't appropriate for kids. She addressed it immediately.
