What makes this Bungalow unique
Norwich is an amazing medieval city in England. It has an amazing Norman Castle and cathedral, together with lots of historical buildings and churches. There is also an impressive open-air market and a fantastic selection of shops and boutiques with an eclectic blend of independent and multiple retailers in two shopping malls and in the 'Norwich Lanes'. There are also theatres, museums,galleries, cafes, restaurants and sports and leisure facilities. Driving from the house to the city centre is very easy and there are numerous car parks in the city, the most popular being The Castle Mall car park. There are regular buses nearby into the city centre which leave approximately every 10 minutes. The nearest bus stop is a five minute walk from the house. Thorpe St Andrew is also an ideal place to hire a day boat from or visit RSPB and NWT nature reserves, with plenty of walks (such as the Wherryman's Way, a 35 mile route along the River Yare, and a circular walk beside the river starting nearby from the marshes at Whitlingham Lane). Just a 5 minute drive from the house is a large Sainsbury's supermarket and there is also a convenient Co-Op store around the corner. The nearest pharmacy and post office is five minutes walk away. For eating out near the house, there's a great pub a few minutes walk away, which has a lovely restaurant and bar menu and a Sunday carvery. Its a great pub to take the kids to as there is a large enclosed lawn and garden with a play area for them to enjoy while you relax and sip on some of the fine local ales or have a nice glass or two of wine! There's also a fantastic Thai restaurant also a few minutes walk away from the house. If you don't fancy going out, there are plenty of food delivery services nearby. There are also two health clubs in Thorpe St Andrew, the 'Oasis Health & Leisure Club' on nearby Pound Lane and Bannatynes. If you fancy having a picnic, there's the lovely River Green on Yarmouth Rd.

Great stay in a home from home!
Clean and comfortable accommodation, well equipped and beautifully furnished. The house is in a convenient location with regular buses into the city Centre (10 mins) and easy to drive to the Broads and surrounding countryside.
Spacious and comfortable!
My family and I stayed here for 1.5 weeks over the holidays, and we loved it! It has quite a bit of space; the only disappointment was it rained most of our stay so we didn't get to take advantage of the beautiful back garden. It's convenient to City Centre, the highway, and Sainsbury's is a quick drive (or walk) down the road. The owner is quick to respond to emails, so that is always helpful as well. We would definitely recommend it, and would rent it again in the future!
