About Patty Squires

This is such a beautiful area where my children and I did a lot of camping when they were small. One of my sons settled here after going to UNCA where he met his wife.

He found this property for me, and I bought it just from seeing the photos. There was a small house and two out buildings that he completely rebuilt, and since I love making a warm and welcoming home I decided to rent the 2 out buildings for weekend vacationers.

Patty Squires purchased this cabin in 2005

Why Patty Squires chose Asheville Area

The property is very unique with a large, natural pond and small mountain stream. A dock over the pond, deck surrounding the cabin, and fireside seats and benches provide quaint comfort to enjoy the views and bask in the beauty of the inspiring Blue Ridge Mountains. There is so much tranquility here and yet you are only minutes from downtown Asheville.

What makes this cabin unique

I knew I had made the right decision to retire here from the first time I stepped onto the property. It just felt like the home I had always dreamed of.

Fantastic Asheville cabin

  • 5 of 5

A terrific place to stay in Asheville. Quiet and secluded property, but still close to downtown and all the necessary outdoor activities. Located right off of I-40 and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Very clean and comfortable. Will definitely be looking to book here again the next time we travel to Asheville.

Cozy, clean, contemporary cabin on the water ideal couple's getaway just minutes from Asheville!

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay. Perfect place to getaway and still be only minutes from everything Asheville has to offer. If we're lucky enough to rent here again when we come to Asheville, this will definitely be our first choice. Comfortable bed, great shower, natural surroundings with a stream and a pond. We were greeted by wild turkeys! Easy to get to and easy to find the the Blue Ridge Parkway next door and Asheville just a couple of turns away.

Perfect for 2

  • 5 of 5

Our stay was awesome! The pond was beautiful, the bamboo around the place was amazing, and patty was very sweet! It was super clean, and the shower was awesome! It's so close to the Blue Ridge Parkway where we went to see beautiful views of the mountains, and only a few minutes drive to downtown where we spent most of our nights out. Two thumbs up! 👍🏻👍🏻
