About the property

This home has updated hardwood flooring, appliances, lighting and more. The main level offers open-concept living and kitchen area with a 1/2 bath and full laundry off the kitchen. The chef's kitchen includes granite counters, stainless steel appliances (refrigerator that includes filtered water and ice maker, convection oven and dishwasher/disposal) and bar seating.

Other features on the main level include dark hardwood floors, ceiling fan with wall remote control, dimmable lighting and movie-theater lighting recessed in the crown moulding. The leather couch offers motorized reclining seating and the television options include Comcast/Xfinity digital TV with HBO, Showtime, Cinemax and Starz. Off the kitchen, there is a medium-sized deck (12'x9') with a 5-burner gas grill and seating area for 6 that is exclusively for you and isn't shared with anyone.

The home provides 3 bedrooms on the 2nd floor with a full bathroom (tub). All linens, towels and basic toiletries are provided. Two bedrooms include queen sized mattresses (one is a firm memory foam and the other is a standard mattress) and the 3rd bedroom is smaller with a daybed that converts from a twin to a king sized bed. There is closet space and shelving/drawers available to you for your belongings in each of the bedrooms and the bathroom is stocked with towels, toiletries and amenities for your use (shampoo, soap, etc.). Both bedrooms with queen beds have ceiling fans and overhead lighting.

The home also provides free wifi, keyless entry, central air conditioning and ceiling fans throughout.

Other essentials:

Full linens (sheets/pillows, etc.) and towels are provided and all beds/pillows are protected with anti-bacterial/waterproof casings for cleanliness. There is shampoo/conditioner/body soap in the shower and you can use any amenities you wish (hairdryer, iron and clothes steamer, etc.). If there is anything specific you need for your trip, I'm happy to supply if possible.

Guest Access

You will have access to the entire space and will be there alone, this space won't be shared with myself or anyone else while you are renting. You are able to use the home as your own, feel free to use the kitchen and any supplies, do laundry, watch movies and enjoy the home.

Interaction with Guests

I am available for anything you need but only around if you'd like to meet or need assistance. I have a car and I'm happy to help with anything you may need in the event of a bind. I can have the kitchen stocked or prepare any supplies you may need in advance at the home.

The Neighborhood

South Boston is one of the hottest neighborhoods in Boston as of late given its proximity to the Seaport area with restaurants, bars and a bustling nightlife. We are also conveniently located to the convention center (BCEC) and downtown (Financial District, Faneuil Hall/Quincy Market) along with subway access on the redline (Broadway T stop is 0.6 miles away) and frequent bus routes to Copley Square or Downtown Crossing (#11 bus).

My home is located on a one-way street off a main street in South Boston. It is mostly a quiet neighborhood and the majority of locals are twentysomethings/early thirtysomethings as well as local South Boston residents. There is more activity on the weekends but this is mainly a residential area with the bars/nightlife about 0.5 miles - 1 mile away. Places range from 5-star (Del Frisco's, Morton's Steakhouse) to sports bars (Remy's) and lounges (Lucky's).

You can grocery shop at Foodie's market with many organic options and fresh meats to select from (0.4 miles away) as well as eat/order take-out from many pizza and wrap/salad shops in the immediate area.

We are close to many hot locations in Boston:

Subway stop - Redline T at Broadway: 0.6 mi

BCEC (Convention Center): 1.0 mi

Bus to Copley Square: Take #9, the stop is 350 feet from the house, and the bus ride is 1.8 mi

Waterfront/Seaport Area: 1.2 mi

Laugh Boston (Comedy Club): 1.0 mi

Beach/Castle Island (Carson Beach): 0.8 mi

Foodie's Urban Market: 0.4 mi

Starbucks: 0.6 mi

Dunkin Donuts: 0.2 mi

What makes this house unique

It is a house in a part of Boston where there are mostly condos or apartment buildings, offering much more privacy and noise reduction for your stay. The area is a neighborhood but just down the street from the hustle and bustle of the city. It is perfect for relaxing after long days in the city.

The house was perfect for our stay in Boston for a week! The location was great and central for all the sight seeing we did . The owner Tiffany is very good with communications if you have any questions or need anything .

The house was very clean and decorated very nicely . Tiffany the owner has all the supplies for the house well stocked . We really loved Boston and the beautiful home we stayed in !

Great stay

As a first time renter we were very pleased with the accommodation. Tiffany was always available to answer our questions. We found 2 of the bedrooms were a good size but the smallest bedroom is more suited to younger family members. The closest train station is about a 12 minute walk but it is only 3 stops to the downtown crossing station.

Would definitely book here again

I stayed here with a group of friends during Boston Calling this spring. Very accessible to the subway (10 minute walk). We were able to find free street parking 5 minutes away for the 5 days we were in Boston, thanks to Tiffany's excellent instructions. Tiffany was a fantastic host and responded quickly to any inquiries I had. The house itself was really nice with some great touches all around. We loved the back patio! Definitely consider staying here if you're in Boston.

Pleasant stay

Our stay was comfortable. Easy to get around by Uber or Lyft. Area was nice and some fun places on Broadway. Weather was rainy but back deck was nice. Steep stairs if you have anyone older with you.

Perfect accomodations for our family - all of our needs met and/or exceeded!

The home was immaculately clean and very comfortable. Everything we needed was available and handy, right down to umbrellas we used on the one rainy afternoon we had. The location was perfect, with a short walk to the T station that we used for our daily adventures in the city. The neighborhood was quiet and clean as well.
