This apartment has incredible NYC, water and sky views in a large 3 bedroom apartment that also has a marble bathroom, front deck, private back deck with a barbeque grill and a backyard.
The building is quiet but very close to the excitement of NYC.
Just 10 mins from Midtown Manhattan.Guests also have access to a front out door porch with big NYC views, a private back deck and a shared backyard.
There is a free washer and dryer on site.
Free Internet wifi and cable TV.
Street parking is available. It costs $3.50 for 24 hours. The machine to purchase the passes is 3 minutes from the apt and is available 24 hours a day. An indoor garage is located 7 blocks from the apt and cost about $20 per day. We let our guests relax and enjoy themselves but if they need anything a property manager is right on the premises to assist.
We love this neighborhood because it is very safe and you have incredible views of one the greatest cities on earth. All the beauty without the hustle and bustle - a great retreat to wind down after touring the City. You have outdoor space both with the amazing views and a relaxing atmosphere. Our Boulevard is great for romantic strolls in the evening after a day of adventure in NYC (which is just minutes away). There are several great restaurants in the area and a major grocery store within walking distance.
Easy transportation - NJ Transit Bus at the corner which goes directly to Port Authority or community bus that uses the same route. These buses run all hours of the night and day. If you prefer to go across the Hudson, the ferry is only a short walk away - and a beautiful 7 minute boat ride to NYC. Taxis are always a another option. There are several in West NY and NY Yellow Cabs come to West NY frequently.
This apartment had a beautiful view of New York and across from a nice riverwalk. It was clean and equipped just like it said. Michael was good at communicating and answering questions and we only had to call the emergency contact once (who responded quickly). The only complaint I would have is whoever was above us was very noisy and it sounded like they were moving furniture...constantly.
Location was great! We were able to get in to Manhattan easily and quickly. The printed info provided in the apartment was incredibly helpful too!
This apartment was spacious, clean, close to transit, with all the amenities you could ask for. The owner has graciously put together a manual addressing any concerns you would have during your stay and where you can find good food. I plan to stay here anytime I'm in town.
Property is as described. They view of the NY City skyline is truly impressive. It is very convenient for taking ferry to the city or riding the bus in. Most difficult part of the stay is the parking situation in the area. If you have a rental car, street parking requires a daily parking pass ($3), is first come-first served, and that can be a real challenge. Add to that, alternated side of the street parking rules and other restrictions, and you are most likely going to end up with a parking ticket at some point. The house is old and there are renters above you that you will likely hear.
Apartment was as described and had a wonderful view of NYC. Very close to shuttle as well as restaurants and shopping centers. Would highly recommend staying on the Jersey side of the river. You get a much better view of the city and without the outrageous hotel prices.
