We were attending the World Equestrian Games in Tryon and it was a very comfortable week.
The house and property were beautiful. It was so relaxing. We walked the property and did yoga on the front lawn. Great weekend vacay. I highly recommend!!!
Great place to kick back and enjoy some R&R
Wonderful and very private cottage. Great location for visiting western North Carolina.
This property was perfect for our family of 5. The home is beautiful and the property is peaceful. We enjoyed the front porch and the acreage for playing frisbee and catch. The town of Hendersonville is very nice with shops and restaurants. We were able to also enjoy Asheville, hiking, waterfalls, Biltmore Estates and so much more. (the only thing missing was an ironing board, basketball to play on your basketball goal, and your property is perfect for croquet - we couldn't find a set or we would have purchased for you). I have already recommended this home/trip to a few friends. Thank you for opening up your home to our family.
A nice quite and relaxing stay.
Our family enjoyed our stay. This was not only a beautiful home but also on a very large piece of property. I would highly recommend staying there and we plan on going again.
Be Still and Know That I Am God!
We were tickled with our choice when we drove on the property! The home sits on a small hill and looks out over a long range view of mountains. The porch is like another room on the house to enjoy the view and outdoors with family and friends! And we could feel God's presence there looking out over the mountain view! The home is beautiful and the living area is comfortable as well! Access to local restaurants easy and short. The house is in a good location to visit Chimney Rock, Hendersonville, Flat Rock, etc.
My sisters and I took my mother there for her 80th Birthday and she loved it all! We all enjoyed gathering inside and out!
There were 6 of us total and so we had two to a room and the only suggestion for the homeowner I would have is a queen bed instead of the full size bed upstairs (little tight sleeping!). The twinbeds in one room were fine, and queen downstairs in Master fine.
But..... that wouldn't stop me from going back again, such a lovely place!
Hendersonville is a wonderful places to visit we have four seasons. Local attractions include the local forests; Pisgah National Forest, Dupont State Forest both with abundant waterfalls and hiking trails. Take a ride on the Blue Ridge Parkway and see mountains for miles. Bat Cave and Lake Lure has gorgeous views from the top of Chimney Rock Park and of the Rocky Board River. Lake Lure has a beach area with a water park and boat rentals. Downtown Hendersonville is one of the best downtowns anywhere from restaurants to antiques. A short drive to Asheville to the famous Biltmore House. In the fall enjoy the Apple Festival in downtown Hendersonville or picking apples straight from the tree their is many local growers near the property. A local winery that offers a tasting room is 4.4 miles from the property(Burntshirt Vineyards).
