This home has so much going for it and the area is beautiful. It is a good size, the open floor plan is nice for a friendly group of people, the open knotty pine ceilings are nice, and having three bathrooms is a plus. Note that only one bedroom is private. Being close to Sugar Bowl and Royal Gorge are a big plus. The kitchen was missing a few key utensils, the upstairs fireplace didn't work, and we thought charging extra for linens was a bit much.
There was so much snow outside that we could barely see the house. We'll need to return in the summer to see what the area really looks like.
We enjoyed our stay at Meyer Home and the location is FANTASTIC!
Its proximity into town and Soda Springs Resort was a huge bonus. We had 2 small toddler age children with us, so the drawback was the tri-level stairs along with sleeping arrangements. The pull out bed was uncomfortable and we were having a difficult time breathing and sneezing throughout our time, in all the spaces - it may have been a tad dusty in the duration of our stay.
When the ski resort was not open, the kids had so much fun shoveling the driveway! YES, it snow stormed during our stay! The renovation is beautifully done in keeping with the "Tahoe" spirit and decor.
I have already recommended this home to a friend and they are excited, if the dates are available!
Very memorable stay - Thank You
This was the first time renting this house! It was amazing so much room and super clean! I would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice and relaxing getaway. We will definitely be staying here again!
Very nice house with plenty of space, clean, well stocked. Beautiful in the snow, streets and drive plowed. Close to lakes. Great decks on each floor, big downstairs room for TV, kids etc. Open floor plan so the master bedroom really is the only room that closes off. We needed sheets for a different bed and they were promptly deliver.
4 of 5 stars as the wifi was sporadic and I don't think the renter should need to pay for sheets and bring your own shampoo and laundry soap.
From first impression till the end, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. House was beautiful, uniquely crafted, clean, and offered all that you would need to stay comfortably. Each floor came with beds and separate bathrooms. Kitchen was renovated and clean. Great location, 5 minute drive to serene lake, 15min drive to donner lake, 40min to tahoe. Definitely will come back.
This is a well appointed house. The layout is a little different, but functional. There is really only one bedroom with a closed door. But, there are three living spaces all with bathrooms. This cabin will accommodate many people. We had 5, and it was fantastic for what we needed. We figured out on the last day how to heat the bathroom floor. The bathroom on the first floor has a jetted tub. I used it 2X. We were there for the Ragnar Trail Relay Tahoe. It was so nice to have a nice place to rest our tired bodies. I would recommend to anyone going to Soda Springs.
