Very nice house with plenty of space, clean, well stocked. Beautiful in the snow, streets and drive plowed. Close to lakes. Great decks on each floor, big downstairs room for TV, kids etc. Open floor plan so the master bedroom really is the only room that closes off. We needed sheets for a different bed and they were promptly deliver.
4 of 5 stars as the wifi was sporadic and I don't think the renter should need to pay for sheets and bring your own shampoo and laundry soap.
From first impression till the end, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. House was beautiful, uniquely crafted, clean, and offered all that you would need to stay comfortably. Each floor came with beds and separate bathrooms. Kitchen was renovated and clean. Great location, 5 minute drive to serene lake, 15min drive to donner lake, 40min to tahoe. Definitely will come back.
This is a well appointed house. The layout is a little different, but functional. There is really only one bedroom with a closed door. But, there are three living spaces all with bathrooms. This cabin will accommodate many people. We had 5, and it was fantastic for what we needed. We figured out on the last day how to heat the bathroom floor. The bathroom on the first floor has a jetted tub. I used it 2X. We were there for the Ragnar Trail Relay Tahoe. It was so nice to have a nice place to rest our tired bodies. I would recommend to anyone going to Soda Springs.
- tank-less water heater means you never run out of hot water for large groups of people showering
- kitchen is stocked with plenty of supplies to cook
- large family room for hanging out and for sleeping on the floor
- snow plows work 24/7 to clear roads quickly around the area
- large entry way for changing out of wet snow clothes and shoes
- ventilation is well designed, so the temperature is comfortable everywhere in the house
- no microwave
- garage is not accessible
- only 1 bedroom with a door. The other beds are in the family room and loft
We really loved this place! It is beautifully remodeled with many nice details. Our four teenagers were well separated with 2 kids in the loft and 2 kids downstairs. A great place to stay even with more people.
