Perfect getaway!

  • 5 of 5

We just closed 2016 and opened 2017 at this wonderful retreat. The cabin is incredibly well appointed and very comfortable. There was a large snow storm just before our arrival, and temperatures were below freezing -- perfect scenario for the wood-burning stove. We hope to return later this year to experience the cabin in other seasons!

Beautiful out of the way cabin

  • 5 of 5

We arrived at the cabin from the UK after midnight and found the most welcoming sight. A beautiful cabin nestled in the trees with lights on to guide us.

We felt at home as soon as we opened the door. It was cosy and warm. The owners personal touch and flair for design evident everywhere. We had everything you could hope for in a home from home.

We would love to go back next time we visit the area.

Thank you

Julia and family

We had a wonderful stay at the little cabin the woods over the Thanksgiving holiday! The cabin was perfect for two couples. The kitchen was stocked with all the utensils and pots/pans we needed for our tgiving feast! The scenery was amazing! The quiet woods made us feel like we were the only ones in the Catskills! We would love to go back, Thanks Garibaldi!

Homey cabin for a break from the city

  • 5 of 5

My fiance and I were visiting from Sweden and rented this cabin for a part of our tip to share with some friends from New York. There were 4 of us, and we had plenty of room for everyone! The cabin itself is really cozy and the hosts clearly made the extra effort to make us feel comfortable and welcome in the space. They even ringed in on the LAN line to see if we had arrived safely and answer any questions we might have upon arrival. Never had any questions though, as all details were provided ahead of time, and everything at the cabin was just as described! We would definitely rent this cabin again in the future!

Cozy and secluded

  • 5 of 5

Really enjoyed staying in this very quiet cabin at the end of a rural road. Neighbors are around somewhere but out of sight and out of mind. Very quiet at night and the sky is inky black (no light pollution). Milky Way visible overhead on a clear night. Inside is tastefully decorated in an artsy bohemian style. Would like to return.
