Just a couple of blocks from Union Square and around the corner from the beautiful Clift Hotel, this is practically the only single family home in the neighborhood. A 15 minute stroll to Moscone Center.

And the Redwood Room for those times you just need a cocktail in some swanky lighting.
For you business folks, enjoy close proximity to the Moscone Convention Center and the Financial Distict.

For San Francisco, this is THE location. Walk to Union Square, Fishermans Warf, ATT park, shopping, theatres and restaurants.A 15 minute walk to Moscone Center at a relaxed pace.
To have a free-standing home in like-new condition with parking is rare in the area.
2000 sq ft of completely remodeled 1912 style San Francisco home, fully stocked: complete kitchen, washer and dryer, hardwood floors, skylights, tile, marble and travertine bathrooms. All new stainless appliances as of march 2011. Like NEW condition with the old charm still in tact.
We traveled to San Fransisco for the Thanksgiving weekend and thought renting a house would be much more family friendly than a couple of hotel rooms. And we were right. The common space was huge with lots of seating, as was the dining room. Six of us had plenty of room in the bedrooms and bathrooms too. Great location, as we could walk to Union Square and lots of restaurants. There was a little problem with the thermostat when we arrived but the owner responded right away and the problem was fixed. Would highly recommend this property.
Nicely located for walking to Union Square and all public transportation including the BART line from the airport. The house itself is great, lots of room and everything you need. As I'm sure it is most places downtown it is noisy but you get used to it. It is also quite close to a very low income neighbourhood so pay attention to your surroundings.
House was is great central location and suited our family of 5 (3 older teenagers) fantastically. The property is furnished and equipped with good quality furniture, fixtures, china, towels showers ect. Although we did not eat in except for breakfast there was plenty china and cutlery (none of this sillyness where you are provide with exactly the number for the people staying). It was also great that a few tabs of dishwasher and laundry powder were provided, and extra bin bags which is greatly appreciated when you are only staying a few days. Wifi worked consistently in sitting room, Satellite telly pleased the teenagers (think it was satellite, I didnt watch) , 2 bathrooms and dinning room gave us space to breath and stopped people getting on top of each other. Very sensible and secure front door entry made life easy for everybody to go their own ways when they wished to.
Another advantage was we picked up our hire car on last day which I had booked and all the main dealers are just around corner on post street.
Word of warning however - and probably the same through most of san francisco, You do hear the fire engines most of the night (they seem to sit with their hand on the horn), and people leaving the bars. This was a problem thuds-sat. Sunday night was blissfully quiet
Our family of 5 stayed at this property for our first visit to San Francisco. What a perfect location! The house was very comfortable, with everything you could want or need and more. It is decorated beautifully, extremely clean and the owner was amazing to work with. I highly recommend the property. Do not miss Muir Woods and Stinson Beach! They are just a short drive over the GG Bridge.
This is the second time we have stayed here in the past two years. The owners were very accommodating and we walked Everywhere! Walked to south of Market to Union Square shopping...to great restaurants and cafes and all the while we never were bothered by the area like someone previously stated. We were 6 people and the place can definitely sleep 8. Comfortable, classy decor, and great amenities as if you were in your own home. Can't wait to
come back to SF again and stay at this house. I wish I could buy this place. Love the energy.
This place was over-the-top fantastic, far exceeding my already very high expectations. Frankly, I don't see how it could be any better. The location was plenty convenient to the Moscone Center where I and others in our group attended a conference, and it is literally surrounded by great restaurants, easy public transportation, and every kind of shopping you can imagine. And.....just a few blocks off of Union Square--fantastic!! As mentioned in the property description, It has just been completely remodeled and to an incredible high standard--marble bathrooms, beautiful rock kitchen counter tops, stainless appliances, hardwood floors, and really, really comfortable furniture, especially the beds. It comes stocked with most common condiments and a complementary bottle of excellent wine was there to greet us. We liked it so much, we've already booked it for the same conference next year!!!
