I give it 5 stars. If there were more stars to give I would give more. On a scale of 1-10 it was 11
This Chalet was even better than the pictures. I want to thank the property owner and the real estate manager, Niki Santelli for a wonderful winter get-a-way. My wife loved it and she can be fussy. We have a joke in our family...when we go away the lodging has to be "Donna approved," and this was. Everything was clean and new. My kids and grandkids had a ball. The game room was a big hit, especially because we had a lot of rain. They did manage to get some skiing in, so it wasn't a complete wash out for skiing. I hope we can come back and do it again next year. I almost forgot to mention that the view was spectacular!
Comfy and beautiful house!
The view was amazing and game room was A+. Kitchen was perfect for whipping up easy meals. We spent a majority of our days out on the deck or sitting around the fire pit. Great house for a friends weekend!
Beautiful house inside and out. Perfect for a quiet get together with friends.
The house was immaculate and perfect for a large group. The game room was outstanding.
It was a pleasure having you! Thank you so much for leaving the house just as nice as you found it and for being so pleasant when booking the property. We would love to have you as a guest again anytime!
One of the best places I've stayed in yet. The house was very clean, spacious, and beautiful; especially the kitchen. The views itself was worth the trip, simply breathtaking. The game room was maintained very well, everything was working beautifully. Everything about the house exceeded my expectations. Would recommend this place to anyone needing a weekend away.
Beautiful house, great for group of adults or kids
The house really does have the gorgeous view seen in the photo, which is actually even nicer, because there's a bend in the river and you see even more water than the photo shows. The deck has ample seating and it's a pleasure to sit out there and relax. (Though I'm not a morning person, I did get up once for the sunrise and it was beautiful!)
The house itself is spacious: my husband and I rented it for ourselves, three adult children, one son-in-law and a BF, and there was room for everyone to spread out but also to hang out together. Everyone loved the game room.
The kitchen is mostly well equipped and we were able to comfortably prepare all our meals. If I were to return, I would bring some casserole dishes and a large colander, which were absent. If you plan to cook, bring all your groceries, because the closest supermarket is half an hour away (one way). (The community has a small grocery store but it is hit or miss.) The grill on the deck is great. Also, be sure to bring hand towels, because they only supply one for each bathroom; there were enough bath towels and washcloths for each guest, though.
The community is pleasant: there are many houses up and down the mountain, and we really did see bears and deer. We also enjoyed boating on the lake and swimming in it, as well as swimming at the pool.
I especially appreciated how responsive the owner's rep was. We had a problem with the dishwasher and she got on it right away, sending a plumber to fix it. I do highly recommend this very special house.
