A quiet and peaceful location with access to swimming pool (from our cabins front porch you look down on the pool and club house). From left and right a nice view of the Smoky Mountains. Walk into our beautifully decorated family room with all wood, from floors to walls, to a 20 foot high ceiling. Put a spark in your vacation with the huge gas stacked-stone fireplace. Enjoy our new air hockey table. Two huge bedrooms, each with cable TV with DVD player. One has a queen size bed and the master has a king size bed with a huge romantically decorated Jacuzzi tub. We have internet and a phone for local and long distance calling. Take a advantage of our fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, nice dining area, and washer/dryer. Relax on our huge front porch and enjoy the mountain view or relax in our new, very private hot tub on the back deck!

About Linda Kerns and Wesley Kerns

Wesley and I grew up in a small community in Virginia and still live in that small community.

Linda Kerns and Wesley Kerns purchased this cabin in 2014

Why Linda Kerns and Wesley Kerns chose Tennessee

Wesley and I purchased this cabin for people to enjoy beautiful Pigeon Forge as much as we do. We bought the cabin from friends in Virginia and have stayed in the cabin and love the location. Its close to all the attractions but a very quiet place to stay.

What makes this cabin unique

Wesley and I fell in love with the huge front porch and the grand kids love the pool in front of the cabin. The stacked-stone fireplace is a nice touch to the cabin. The hot tub is a good way to relax.

Blessed & Stressed but more so blessed

  • 4 of 5

Ok, so I'm one of those people that is honest and fair about our trip. First things first I wish I would have known there was close to 30 steps to get into this cabin. I don't mind the stairs so much but my husband that's had back problems had a lot of trouble climbing the flight. Also it had snowed and made those steps slick. I would suggest treds be placed. We slept in the king size bedroom which was always cold. If the fireplace was on it made it quite toasty in the living room area and the thermostat wouldn't kick on causing the bedrooms to be chilly. The bathoom floor was frigid. The hot water tank must be tiny because with 5 of us we frequently ran out of hot water. Also where was the lint trap? The dryer from what I saw didn't have one. Our bed slats fell in the middle of the night causing us to sleep on the floor for the duration of the trip. My girls' room had a lightbulb burnt out and although we did tell the owners they never did get it changed. Also the furnace broke the second night we were there. It did get fixed and they did make good on it. Everything else was fine; good resort and ample parking. Quiet except for the last night but that's nothing that can really be controlled. Hot tub was nice and secluded. Fireplace worked great. Owners were nice and friendly.

Nice but needs work

  • 1 of 5

While the cabin is nice it has several opportunities! We have stayed at several cabins over the years and this by far is our least favorite! First we were a group of two elderly couples and there was no mention of the amount of stairs or pictures of the 28 steps to get in to the cabin! The pictures look like they were cropped to prevent the stairs from showing! Inside the cabin there was also some opportunities first in the second bedroom there was missing light bulbs so not all lights worked! In the same room the over head light would not come on the first night we was there then the remaining of our trip it would turn on flicker then go off! Also the dining room table had something on it that caused it to be sticky could not wash it off. Paper towel plates cellphones would stick to the table. None of the stairs had any form of skid resistant and became slippery from the rain! On the second set of steps there is only one set of hand rails. Also the TV would periodically just change input without anyone touching the Remote! There are notes all over the house that seem excessive your renting to adults not Children! Would not recommend this cabin or stay here Again! I know it says to contact owners about any issues but I don't feel that I should have to. These issues should not exist.

Owner's Response: So sorry that you did not enjoy our beautiful cabin. First I live in Virginia and that's why I asked people to call me when they have problems. The light is now fixed it was a loose bulb. My father that is 86 has no problem with the steps and he's had knee surgery. As far as the notes in cabin its for wifi information and other little details. So sorry again that you did not enjoy your stay. Have a pleasant New year.

Fantastic Stay!

  • 5 of 5

Thank you for sharing your lovely cabin with us! We had a wonderful time! The cabin was even better than described. All of the bedrooms were very clean and spacious. The towels provided in the bathrooms were extra soft and fluffy. The living room with the fireplace was super cozy. The kitchen had all of the comforts of home.

We happened to be visiting when the wildfires in Gatlinburg & Pigeon Forge occurred and the owners called & emailed to check on us and make sure we were safe.

Can't wait to visit again in the spring or summer to make use of the lovely resort pool (that is just across the driveway!).

Perfect family cabin

Great cabin in a peaceful location away from the craziness of town. We were very comfortable and had everything we needed provided.

Owners were efficient to work with.

We would return again without a doubt.

Great Cabin

The cabin was in a nice area. The cabin was very clean. I liked that they had notes posted throughout the cabin to instruct you on how to use certain things. We enjoyed our stay there. We would stay there again.
