Visit Flagstaff and stay within walking distance of the Historic Downtown, a short walk along the FUTS (Flagstaff Urban Trail System) to restaurants, coffee shops, shopping, and galleries. The well-equipped studio apartment is compact, graciously decorated, and the perfect place for a couple to call home while in Northern Arizona.
The studio sleeps two (2) with a double-sized murphy bed and fully stocked linens. The kitchen is equipped with refrigerator, gas oven for cooking, and sink. The bathroom is private from the studio itself with a shower. Satellite TV and wifi internet are included. The studio is attached to a single-family residence in a quiet neighborhood.
There is one (1) friendly dog (puppy) named Lou that can be found at times in the backyard chasing butterflies.
Flagstaff sits at a wonderful 7,000 feet above sea level nestled with ponderosa pines, aspen and birch trees. With Sedona 45 minutes away, the Grand Canyon a touch over an hour away, and plenty more to do in between, all four seasons in Flagstaff are beautiful. The City boasts excellent hiking, mountain biking trails, winter skiing, rock climbing and great locally-owned spots to dine. With being in walking distance, you can enjoy Flagstaff's Historic Downtown which hosts music, festival, First Friday artwalks, outdoor movies, a quaint theater for concerts and more!
We stayed for a week. The kitchen was a big plus! Everything was great. It's to the side of the house so it's private and comfortable. The family is very nice and accommodating. If we come back to visit the Grand Canyon, Flagstaff, Sedona again, we will definitely come back!
I want to thank Amy for a wonderful stay. I felt so relaxed and everything was so easy. The location, parking, everything I needed for the weekend. I loved being able to zip into town yet was just minutes from Snowbowl. A beautiful setting that just felt so nice and open with trails and trees. I was there for an ultra trail race and needed to be able to cook and have a comfy bed. I found the Nature's market and stocked up with organic veggies and snacks. Was able to cook and had plenty of room in the kitchen and frig for everything. A great place for base camp to side trip to Grand Canyon, Sedona and hiking, biking or skiing around Flagstaff. I was so fortunate to have found the perfect spot for the weekend and recommend the Aztec to anyone visiting Flagstaff.
I spent an extended stay with Justin and Amy (Aztec House) and it was a perfect experience! Everything from the initial communication, arrival instructions, and the genuine concern for my comfort during the stay made me feel welcome (and a bit sad when it was time to leave)! The proximity to downtown Flagstaff, FUTS, and NAU are ideal. I would not hesitate to stay here again - Thanks Justin and Amy!
This place was just what we (my spouse and I) needed for a quick trip with some family activities and some sightseeing. The apartment is well represented online; nothing fancy, just a studio with the necessities. It was cozy and easy on the wallet. The location was convenient for exploring Flagstaff, Sedona, the Grand Canyon, and other nearby sights.
The owners are very responsive and helpful. Furthermore, while they were easy to contact, they weren't hovering around; they let us have our space. I really appreciated that they left a map of the urban trails system and Flagstaff. That helped us get oriented before we found our way to the visitor center in town.
I would stay there again. I would recommend this for couples or lone travelers coming through this area.
This studio was perfect for us. It was a great location for getting around Flagstaff and the surrounding area. Amy was very accommodating, helpful and available. The space was clean and comfortable. Would have like a few more kitchen supplies but it worked well for us and our travels. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again. Thank you Amy for your hospitality.
I was up visiting my kids at NAU for a few days, went skiing for the first time in 30 yrs (still alive), this place was perfect for me. Slept like a baby, bed is super comfortable. Met homeowner who lives onsite, he was very friendly and accommodating. Good neighborhood and convenient for skiing, Grand Canyon, or NAU visit. Basic kitchen but again I didn't do any cooking. I would highly recommend.
