Yet another wonderful Boulder vacation!

  • 5 of 5

This is the second time my family and I have stayed in a property owned by Barry. It will definitely not be the last. Upon arriving at the cabin, we were greeted by a vase of beautiful flowers. I love fresh cut flowers, so that touch was really appreciated. My oldest daughter turned 25 while we were in Boulder and opening gifts on the back deck while drinking coffee could not have been more beautiful. We mainly went into Boulder for meals, but we did grill and stay at home one night. While the guys grilled and cooked, my daughters and I made jewelry and drank wine on the back deck. It was so relaxing and fun. The jewelry making supplies were bought in town at the very cute bead shop we always visit. Okay, this is a review of the cabin, not Boulder, so I'll address that. The space is wonderful for a group of six. It was also immaculate. There was everything we needed for cooking. There were plenty of towels, blankets, and pillows for everyone's comfort. There was one issue with the air conditioner in the main bedroom. When we called Barry, he had his repairman there almost to the minute when we told him we would be leaving. The place was completely comfortable when we returned. Thanks Barry. See you soon!

Location, Location, Location!

  • 5 of 5

Our experience at this home was excellent, the location was ideal conveniently located to town while also far enough removed to get away from the hustle of downtown Boulder. The home sits on the side of a mountain so the driveway and approach to the home are rather steep but an acceptable trade-off for the amazing views. Boulder Creek and multi use pathway is directly across the street and is a quick bike ride or stroll to Pearl Street or even CU campus. The road can be busy so be careful crossing!!! Barry was quick to respond via telephone and was personally available if needed. The biggest downfall is the single bathroom but again made up for in the availability of laundry. We spent most of our vacation hiking and I highly recommend the Flatiron trail system especially Royal Arch and Flatiron #1 and #2. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

Great House - Right Outside Town

  • 5 of 5

The house was great, located just a few turns right outside Boulder. Plenty of space for all of us, and not a complaint to be had. Barry was easily able to get ahold of throughout the trip if there were any questions or issues. Would recommend staying here for a med-large group.

Great property

  • 5 of 5

Rented the house for 5 days to do some local hiking. Location was great, house was clean and well furnished. Proximity to Boulder was very convenient, easily walkable to town and local restaurants. I would definitely rent again.

Awesome place

  • 5 of 5

This was a great place - the house had very a very interesting layout with private bedrooms and a good den area (great sound system!) that we used to watch the playoffs games. The deck was nice and we took advantage and did some BBQing. Down below was the river path which was really neat with a section of the walkway built below water level! A nice relaxing walk to Pearl St. Everything was clean and the place was well stocked.

Amazing property

  • 5 of 5

The property is conveniently located close to downtown boulder but just on the outskirts of town across from the river atop a hill. Amazing view of the flatirons and the river. The property itself was very well maintained and had every amenity that we needed. I would definitely rent this property again upon my return to Boulder.
