Welcome to our 1400 sq. foot, three bedroom, three bath townhome with a private indoor hot tub and complimentary wireless internet. Located within walking distance to downtown Winter Park, and yet just 3 miles from the base of Winter Park Ski Resort (a short 5 minute drive). Parking is located off the front deck, but should you prefer, the Winter Park Ski Shuttle, which operates every 15 minutes, stops just 100 feet from the front door.

Welcoming you to our home is an entry foyer which is perfect for putting on ski boots, hanging helmets and coats, or storing odd sized items. You will find one of two access points to the indoor hot tub here as well. On the ground level you will find two of the three bedrooms. The first bedroom is furnished with a custom log bunk bed (queen mattress on the lower and twin on the upper), TV/DVD, futon, Xbox 360, and full private bath. The second access point to the hot tub is located in this room. Just down the hall is the second bedroom, furnished with a queen size bed and adjacent full size bath. Off the hall is a full size washer and dryer.

On the second level is a large and inviting living area complete with cable TV, DVD player, video library, board games, and wood burning fireplace. Here you will also find a dining area and sun porch (a perfect place for morning coffee or catching up on a good read). Off the dining area is a fully equipped kitchen, awaiting your culinary imagination. Opposite the living area is the third bedroom furnished with a custom made, queen size, log bed, and adjacent private bath.

Outside is a private deck, complete with ski locker and gas grill for barbecuing. Off the deck, and just 100 yards from the parking lot, is Grand Park; an ideal spot for cross country skiing or an afternoon walk (snow shoes suggested). The new bowling alley and theater is just down the street, so if your up for walking, you'll enjoy this brand new entertainment option.

Our place is a NON SMOKING unit. Please look else where if you plan on smoking. Our sons are allergic, so we do not allow smoking inside or outside. If your planning on smoking POT, do it on the mountain!

We like our guest to know the town house is on the west side of Winter Park, which makes us in close proximity to the train. It is a quiet zone, but you can still hear the brakes once in a while. But if you ski hard enough, you don't hear BOO! We do supply ear plugs if you need them, and if your new to winter park. Most places have train noise. Sorry!

We also have 1 yellow lab that does frequent the townhouse, Just incase someone is allergic to dogs. We keep it very CLEAN, you will probably not even notice. Because of HOA rules, no dogs other than owners dogs are allowed.

There are several sleds in the house or the ski locker for you to enjoy. The main park in town is a great place to sled or just behind the park, follow the road to the back and you'll find a nice hill to sled down, it's located on the right hand side. Snow shoes are also available for those who do not ski. You can snow shoe behind the park as well. It's call Idyllwild.

We fell in love with Winter Park the first time we skied here. The people are great and the activities even better. Our family gets very excited to spend family time together making smores and playing games and not spending time on our electrical devices.

Why James chose Winter Park Area

After looking at many places, this one felt like home. It was warm and inviting and in our eyes perfect! Everything is within walking distance, or you can ride your bike to any part of winter park or fraser. We are such an outdoors' family, this townhouse was in the perfect location to enjoy every part of town, without having to drive.

What makes this townhome unique

We enjoy that the hot tub is indoors. There is no freezing on the way out, or hesitation to come back in. And the best part is the wood burning fire place surrounded by lots of mountain charm and a glass of good wine.

  • There are 3 bathrooms, and with any house with multiple people, you should space the showers so each person has a hot shower. Other wise you will run out of hot water.

Notes:
We provide all zip lock baggies, tin foil and most basic kitchen needs. Some spices. Toilet paper a few rolls to start, Shampoo, Conditioner, Q-Tips, Blow Dryer all provided. we have sleds to use, and snow shoes for you non skiers. There are plenty of books with trails, should you choose to venture out. This truly is a home, and we welcome you to enjoy it. We tried to make it as inviting and comfortable for you, as it is for us. We hope you enjoy your stay.

Comfortable and relaxing; conveniently located near Winter Park

We enjoyed the comfortable, home-like atmosphere. The drive to Winter Park resort was short and very convenient. Although the unit was close to the railroad track, we were hardly disturbed by the noise of passing trains. Overall, we had a very enjoyable weekend.

Cozy and complete, great for families!

We just finished a great trip, the condo was close to the resort, complete kitchen with more than any other condo/house you will find, and was decorated for the holidays! We had a great time enjoying the entertainment provided ( games, movies, Xbox) and soaking nightly in the indoor hot tub!!!!

The beds were very comfy, and had plenty of space for our 6, and having 3 bathrooms for all my girls was wonderful.

Perfect for an Xmas get away

This was our second stay and we were even more impressed! The holidy decor made it seem as if we were celebrating at home, very cozy. We had a total of 4 adults and 2 teenagers and the space was perfect. Lots of entertainment, scenery and the location to local restaurants and stores was just what we needed. We enjoyed tubing and skiing and a very relaxing time. We are definately coming back.

Theres a brand new bowling alley and theater that are just down the street. Horse drawn carriage rides. In the summer, there are plenty of places to rent SUP and enjoy the many lakes surrounding Winter Park
