The walk to the bus stop is uphill about 100 yards, but the walk back is downhill! Easy ski storage on the property and parking right outside your unit offer unsurpassed convenience!

Amazing place to stay with breath taking views!!!

First, I want to say that the pictures on the website don't do this property justice. The views here were absolutely breathtaking. I think I kept the double doors upstairs open for half my stay. Not only is this property beautifully tucked away in the hills of Breck, but is only an 8 min drive down to the back side of Main Street. Being on the backside is actually the perfect for location, being that everything is pretty much towards the backside of Breck anyway. One thing I truly appreciated was, I had gotten into Breck early and even after doing some shopping and having lunch, was still early for my standard check in. After contacting Carla, she made sure the house was ready and allowed us to check in early. Anyone that has travelled with kids, probably knows that something as small as letting us check in early can make a huge difference in the mindset of the kids when traveling. I was very thankful she worked with us. Another thing to mention is, this place is complete stocked with everything you would need to stay comfortably. Everything from glasses, dishes, silverware to a Kurreg coffee maker. This place has tons of room to spread out and still be connected to your family. I travelled with my GF and our 3 kids and had plenty of space. Everything was clean and ready for our stay. Add on top of everything awesome that this property already has, but the deal we got was very affordable considering what this house provides. We were very happy with how much it cost to stay here, truly better than hotel! My only con about staying here was the one free pass for each day you stay here with itrip. At first, I assumed that we would get 3 passes that we could use for any activity we chose on any day, but I quickly found out that it was only one per day to be used on just that day. So basiclly we would get one to use per day, not 3 total that we could use all on the same day. Kind of disappointed with that but, that part was understandable, but was hard to understand was when I called to schedule a white water rafting trip, the prices that they were quoting me were completely outrageous. Even with one free adult pass they wanted to charge me almost $85 per person to go rafting, so we didn't use them. Instead I got a Groupon that we ended up paying only $45 per person for the exact same rafting trip, leaving out of the exact same place. I think if they adjusted their prices to be competitive to what you can find online if you just do some research, then this place would be one of the best places to stay in Breck. I realize that this is not necessarily the properties fault, and that they are trying to provide a great service addition to their customers, which I can respect however, maybe they could bubble it up to whoever needs to know to make that added bonuses make sense for their customers. If not, that's not really a service that I can't use because financially it dose t make sense. Other than that, we absolutely loved our stay here and I can already tell based off family's experience, that we will be definitely staying here again. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay at this property. We had an absolutely amazing time on our trip to Breck!!!

Outstanding condo with great views!!!

We stayed at Illinois Gulch for the Fourth of July. The location was perfect ~5 minutes to Main Strreet. We loved the condo. Only two connecting units. The view of all the Breck peaks was outstanding!

We will come back. It was quiet, we saw a couple of foxes.

Weekend Getaway

We stayed at the Illinois gulch condo this weekend with a group of friends and had a great time! Plenty of bedding and bathrooms. Kitchen was stocked SO well and we appreciated the welcome basket as well as the coffee and keurig. Everything was set up and quite intuitive. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Illinois Gulch for NYE

We had a fantastic time at the Illinois Gulch condo for NYE. We jokingly called this the "House of Requirements." It had an amazingly well-stocked kitchen, fantastic board games, a boot warmer, firewood for the cold Breckenridge nights... you name it, we found it in the house. We also enjoyed working with iTrip. The representatives were friendly, responsive, and made this a fantastic trip. We'll definitely look to book with them the next time we head to Breckenridge.

With its authentic, historic, small-town charm, all of our Breckenridge properties are beautifully homey and comfortable. Tucked in the White River National Forest, Breckenridge is a skiing epicenter, with a multitude of recreational activities for everyone.

When staying at one of our Breckenridge properties, you are within 30 minutes of 5 major ski areas including: Vail, Keystone, Arapahoe Basin, Copper Mountain and Loveland. Despite the appreciation for preserving the old town area, massive ski area improvements continue to enhance the skier experience at Breckenridge. With a new bridge located near many of our Breckenridge cabin rentals, you can now ski right down to Main Street to one of America's largest and best-preserved historic districts.

Also near many of our Breckenridge vacation rentals is a pervasive network of historic mining trails that offer fabulous chances to explore the valley on a mountain bike, a dog sled, snowmobile, cross-country skis, snowshoes or by foot.
