Water Sport, Beach, Pool, Tennis, Gym, Yoga & Stand up Paddling, Play Ground for your kids - this is what you are looking for during your vacation? Well that's what we can offer! The apartment is located right by the beach between Ocean Park and Isla Verde, part of a gated Condo with 24/7 security. It is a first floor unit extended to a cute little terrace with seating for 4 and your own BBQ. Right across you have a great park with pool, tennis court, playground and just a few steps away the access to a quiet, secluded beach. The open living area connects to an equipped kitchen. 2 persons could sleep on the comfortable sofa bed with inflatable mattress in the living area. The bed room has a queen size bed for 2 more persons to sleep on and ample closet space. The apartment is recommended for families and elderly at the same time and it is offered for up to 4 persons at the time. It has a nicely remodeled bath with washer/ dryer. The apartment has ceiling fans and A/C and offers as well cable TV & Internet and one private parking. We would recommend to rent a car, even if it is possible to stay without. Here are some distances: Supermarket (24/7 Supermax) ¾ of a mile= 20 walking minutes, Plaza Loiza ¼ of a mile=10 walking minutes, Bus stop 928’ = 5 walking minutes

We have a local furniture store. Enjoy tennis and water-sports. Love to travel. Have four dogs.
Mike & Tanya purchased this condo in 2005
great location. right on the beach with a great green area with good waters-sports and a brand new tennis court. I like to be able to walk to restaurants in the area if i choose to.
It is a ground floor unit-very unique-so at the end of the we love to have a BBQ and enjoy the sunset.
The condo worked out perfectly and was exactly as portrayed in the pictures and in the description. The kids enjoyed everything and it was great to have a large, safe outdoor area for them to play.
We did rent a car so we could explore PR (first trip) & that proved essential.
Our family has visited Puerto Rico more than half a dozen times. We have learned that accommodations like this are far better deals than what hotels have to offer. Our visit took place during the Memorial Weekend. The bottom line is that is a wonderful place to stay, on a beautiful beach(not more than a hundred steps away!). The pool is bigger and better than the Intercontinental Hotel and is a short drive from some of the best that the island has to offer.
As each day passed. We really felt more and more at home. The unit has pretty much everything you will need to feel like it's your place. If you cook like we do, everything you need is there. Do you like to go to the beach with all the equipment that a typical family or couple, need. It's at your fingertips.
If you like the feeling of security , no worries there's always someone on duty who can answer any questions you may have at the front door.
Some of the best beaches are within a short drive( Carolina ) or 45 minutes( Luquillo) If possible plan a trip to El Yunque rainforest. Old San Juan is about a half hour or so away with lots of great restaurants
like the Parrot Club. We would also highly recommend Pamela's restaurant (10 min.drive) located on the beach.
Mike, the owner seems to have mastered making sure his guests are well taken care of. We had a small issue and he took care of it immediately. you'd be hard pressed to have someone care for you like that at a hotel.
In the interest of keeping this short and sweet:
Very nice place to call a home away from home, on a beautiful beach, with a great pool, within an hour
of the best Puerto Rico has to offer.
Stayed during Easter break, was close to sights with rental car. Very nice, clean and quiet. Children enjoyed amenities.
We spent 5 weeks in this ground floor unit. It is perfect for a couple wanting a long winter vacation as it has an excellent well equipped kitchen for preparing any type of meal from plain to exotic! Plaza Loiza, a well equipped local but large grocery store, is a short 5 minute walk through a residential area and literally has everything from deli to produce to meat department. It also sells wine and beer! Prices are better than the 24/7 a 15 minute walk away. The beach is lovely but in the winter the surf can be a bit rough so caution is advised when swimming. The outdoor deck is the best part of this unit and we had every meal there except during a big rain storm. The winter breezes off the Atlantic Ocean are wonderfully cool and for February and March we did not use the AC once. The complex has many vacation renters but is primarily made up of locals or snow birds who own units. The pool is wonderful although many Americans thought it was too cold (we Canuks did not!). The pool chaise loungers do need replacing as a lot of them were pretty rough but there are lots of them so not difficult getting a non broken one. The tennis courts were repainted during our stay and looked great. The unit has tennis rackets, a basketball, beach chairs, cooler; literally everything. The grounds are unusually spacious by San Juan apartment standards and has great shade under the palm trees. The pool and grounds are very quiet Monday through Friday afternoon but the weekends are busy with tons of families enjoying the facilities, barbeques and children's recreational slides etc. Everyone well behaved and having a ball. It was great to see it. Easy access on the local bus to get around .75 for a one way trip to Old San Juan. They are very reliable, clean and safe. The gym is well used and is well equipped and a great addition. Pool bathrooms and showers, gym, public areas and the pool very well maintained and cleaned; every day. On arrival our unit was moderately cleaned; bathroom and kitchen and bedroom OK but the outside and windows needed doing but we aren't too fussy and did it ourselves. Mike the owner does not live on the island and connecting with him can be challenging as we only use e-mail because of the prohibitive roaming charges for our Canadian cell phone. It was not an issue with us as the unit was so good and aside from needing some wine glasses and coffee cups we really didn't need to connect with him too much. Great stay thanks Mike!
You won't be disappointed with this apartment! Because of the location we were able to get to the beach or any restaurants with ease. We could walk to buy groceries or to check out the next beach. Granted we didn't spend much time at the apartment but when we did it was comfortable and had all we needed. We did rent a car so we could really see the island. Drove to Playuela, Cabo Rojo (so beautiful) and also enjoyed our visit to the rainforest and Bacardi distillery where we took the mixology class. We really enjoyed that! Back to the apartment...tons of DVD's to watch (and not all children's movies which is what we usually find at rentals) and plenty of magazines and books. Wi-Fi worked great. We loved the kitchen and the decor here, too. Beautifully done! It didn't take long to feel right at home here. Thank you Mike and Tanya!
My husband and I stayed here for a week with our two kids, ages 7 and 10. The condo is beautiful! Clean, and gated with 24 hour security. It's first floor location was convenient, only steps to the large pool, tennis court, playground, and beach. I enjoyed my coffee on the private patio every morning! The neighborhood is in a great location for exploring the island, in close proximity to Isla Verde, Condado, and an $18 taxi ride to Old San Juan. We rented a car, and street parking in San Juan is limited, so having the parking space was great. The kitchen is well stocked with all cookware and utensils. Beach towels, two chairs, and a cooler are also provided. Mike and Tanya provide a welcome book with recommendations for groceries, taxi, Sight seeing, and maps which was greatly appreciated.
I highly recommend this rental!
We stayed with our 2 children (ages 9 and 10) and this property was perfect for us. It had everything we needed and really made us feel at home. Having the chairs readily available to enjoy the beach and a kitchen stocked full of all the tools we needed to cook a meal are just a few of the things you'll appreciate being away from home. I would recommend this property to anyone looking to visit with their family.
The beach right in front of the condo is a big spot for Kiteboarding, paddleboarding and surfing. Five minutes in both directions along the beach there are large hotels with casinos for night life and 15 minutes away is old san juan with cobble stone streets and the El Morro fort. Lots to do !
