Fantastic view, great house!

  • 4 of 5

This house is a dream! Close to town but it feels like a world away. Plenty of room for everyone (we are traveling with our 3 teenage kids). The boys did a little fishing on the beautiful river and we spent a bit of time in Brookings and at Harris Beach. Everything was perfect!

Truly a gorgeous view and a great location

  • 5 of 5

My husband, two young children and myself visited in September to enjoy some beach time. This was a great spot to stay and we will definitely plan on revisiting - plenty of room in this house for Grandma and Grandpa to join us next time! Everything was very clean and thoughtfully managed, with all of the full sized appliances and housewares needed to prepare our own meals (which we did - much easier with small kids, in my opinion). The house was actually larger and nicer than we even expected based on the photos. Master bedroom/bathroom suite was huge, and all of the beds were quite comfortable with plenty of bedding. My husband and I had a relaxing time sitting on the front deck and watching the sunset turn into a sky full of stars after the kids were asleep. Very peaceful. I really liked being close to Brookings but up the river a bit - we were out of the fog and the wind but a quick drive to everything. We visit this part of the Oregon coast at least once a year (Southern Oregonians) and this is the nicest rental home we have found at a reasonable cost for a family. Thank you!

First Class in every way!!!

  • 5 of 5

The property was relatively remote which we liked. Although it was perched above a valley floor, it did have a distant view of the ocean. The sound of the ocean could be heard as it reflected off the surrounding mountains. All accommodations were absolutely the best. It was very clean and offered lots of amenities........such as 3 variety of coffee pots!! Highly recommended property!

Spacious and comfortable

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time relaxing in between adventures in this house! It was clean and comfortable, spacious yet cozy. It's a wonderful place to "get away from it all" without being too far from a store (or Farmer's Market!). Marshall was so responsive and helpful when we needed something.

Why Keep A Dream A Secret

  • 5 of 5

Some experiences in life you want to keep to yourself so they stay that way. I am tempted to do that with BOVPARRTI (Rental), but I have to let others know that this rental is very special for those that are looking for a place like home away from home to slow down and take in the Pacific Northwest. This rental is a very nice large vacation home, spacious, clean, ample provisions and yes, a river and awesome ocean/pasture views run through it. There is plenty of space inside for a large family as well as outside by the fire pit or on the deck overlooking the ocean/pasture. It can be a little tricky to find if you don't follow the explicit directions, but that makes the site extremely private. It is a place where you can get provisions in town and just stay the whole time or make daily excursions to view all the natural wonders around this beautiful location on the planet. Having the full kitchen and laundry was a life-saver for our family of 5 although there are many great restaraunts as well as a couple of great local micro-breweries. We stayed during the summer for 7 days and 6 star-filled nights complete with spectacular meteor showers. Next time I would like to stay even longer or come back during the fall or spring.

Another Amazing Stay!

  • 5 of 5

This was our second time staying at A River Runs Through It and we were not disappointed. This place is truly amazing. We watched the elk in the field 6 of the 7 days we were there. This house is still like new and we loved everything about it. We will definately be back! Thank you Marshall for creating such a wonderful place.
