Beautiful construction with wood floors and granite countertops. Located one mile from the entrance of Glacier National Park and across the road from Glacier Wilderness Guides/Montana Raft Company.

My wife and I planned a trip to GNP and stayed 4 nights in early October. After doing a lot of research, we were nervous about going after the majority of the park had shut down, so we wanted a place that no matter how the day went, would be a nice, comfortable place to relax. This was definitely the right choice!
Prior to arriving, I emailed Lindsey and she was quick to respond with recommendations on where to go for grocery shopping and directions. We were going to arrive after the normal check-in time but she was very flexible and everything worked out great. The loft was beautifully furnished and cozy and true to the VRBO description and pictures. Based on other reviews, we knew to bring everything we would need (food, toiletries, coffee!) and had no issues. We did prepare all our meals in the loft, including packing lunches for the trail. Based on previous reviews, we knew to purchase any spices we needed for cooking, which was very easy to do in small quantities at the Super 1 that Lindsey recommended. I would recommend that if you have a question about something specific, send Lindsey an email beforehand. It is located in West Glacier, so be prepared to spend a good bit of time in the car if you are going to be hiking in the Many Glacier area, but we found it was a great base camp. It is very close to Lake McDonald, any groceries / stores you may need, a gas station just down the road, and Going-to-the-Sun Road. More specifically, the loft is located at the top of a hill with great views from the bedroom / living room. Pending the weather, you will be able to see some great sunrises / sunsets from the comfort of the loft! In slightly warmer weather, there is a nice little balcony with a view over the field and mountains in the distance.
If you visit GNP, you will not regret choosing this place to stay!
Lindsey was super helpful and patient with our confusion over directions and over which of their properties my parents were supposed to be staying in. She was polite, flexible, friendly and accommodating, and while my friends and I camped and got chilly at Apgar within the park, my parents were toasty and happy
in this charming apartment with its unsurpassed views! And we were only an easy ten or fifteen minute drive from each other. This is a great spot! Many thanks!
We enjoyed our stay. Location convenient for visiting glacier park. Nicely setup for a couple. Kitchen well equipped. We loved sitting on the deck.
This property has a 360 degree view of mountains. One wakes up in the morning to look out at the mountains of Glacier National Park. We are day hikers and this was the perfect place as a "base camp". You are just a 5 minute drive to the entrance of West Glacier National Park. It was wonderful to come back at night and relax in the apartment. This apartment had all the amenities and then some.
Lindsey was very helpful in recommending a place to shop for those with celiac disease, it was a fantastic find for the area!
We definitely will come back to this apartment when in the area.
My wife Katie and I had a wedding party at Snow Moon Ranch on August 20, and the site couldn't have been more perfect. From the absolutely gorgeous setting atop a grassy hill with amazing 360 degree views that include incredible vistas of the peaks in Glacier Park to the wonderfully warm lodge and apartment (both of which were super well-equipped, clean, and fabulously maintained) that easily accommodated ten of us to the conveniently accessible location that also allowed for all kinds of recreation and tourist activities, the property couldn't have been better for us. It was the ideal spot for our very special day and was the very best setting for a weekend of wonderful memories. We also greatly appreciated the fantastic recommendations from the owner for all of our party needs. Thank you, Lindsey. We will wholeheartedly recommend Snow Moon Ranch to all of our family and friends, and we will look forward to another stay ourselves.

Pros: Great location for GNP visitors, beautiful view of the mountains, updated rooms, clean, nice layout, laundry. Cons: Basic amenities missing: no coffee, no body soap, no facial tissues. Thankfully there was toilet paper. The front door requires a PHD in Advanced French Door Mechanics - required a lot of practice to figure out how to lock from the outside (can't imagine doing this in Montana winter), and never figured out how to lock from the inside; the doors blew open in the middle of the night. Bed and sofa sleeper are old. Most linens worn out.
Five minute drive from Glacier National Park, 30 minute drive to Whitefish, and 35 minute drive from Kalispell International Airport. Mountain biking, whitewater rafting, doglsedding, spa all within 45 minute drive.
