Myrna Parsley purchased this Condo in 2014

Lovely property, charming neighborhood. Close to everything.
The property was well apportioned and nicely decorated. Parking was easy and we were close to everything in Louisville. The owners were the sweetest couple. It was a fantastic weekend and a memorable stay.
Thank you for the great review. We really enjoyed meeting all of you.
Excellent stay in a centralized location
I brought a group of 6 to Louisville to show them around my old stomping grounds. We had a wonderful time and greatly enjoyed staying in this condo over the hotel option.
The condo itself is beautiful. It's got a classic feel to it with some modern touches. The deck was large enough for all 6 adults to sit outside. The appliances were all in good shape, and the laundry machines worked very well and appear to be new.
Plenty of extra linens were provided in the upstairs closet. The water pressure was good and we never had an issue with both showers being used at the same time. Even with 6 adults, we never had any need to wait for more hot water.
The area where the condo is located is in good proximity to everything. We did not need to rent a car and the average Uber/Lyft ride cost us about $7.50. That included trips to the waterfront, Bardstown, the Highlands, and the museum areas.
The mattresses were nice and equal. No one felt short changed on their bedroom. Each mattress was memory foam and a queen. Thus, for three couples, this condo is an ideal fit.
I had pleasant communication with the owner and everything provided in the instructions was accurate. I would happily rent from this owner again.
Loved the condo.
The condo was just like being at home and was beautiful.
Perfect condo for us- very clean, nicely decorated and within walking distance of Memorial Auditorium... literally 1 block away. Extra mile by providing soap, shampoo, coffee and water in kitchen- nice touches. Plenty of linens if needed. Everything was smooth - no problems at all. Certainly recommend!
Well restored condo very convenient to downtown
Our extended family spent two nights in the 3-br condo. It is fully equipped and well furnished and very convenient to downtown Louisville. The only negative is the loud street noise in the two front bedrooms and the street lights coming through the blinds in these same rooms. Not a problem for us heavy sleepers, but light sleepers may want to use the back bedroom. The cleaning fee is a bit high that may preclude a short stay there.
It was Ok.
The interior was nice we had everything we needed. We arrived and went directly to the air conditioner control panel as it was warm inside. It had a note taped above it telling us how to turn it on and then word for word "Do not change anything else. It is already programmed for your comfort". Well, it was very hot outside that weekend and it was OK inside the condo but, still a bit warm even after the air conditioner was turned on. I normally turn the temperature down in most places that I stay but, not here. Most everyone complained about being too warm at night while trying to sleep. The mattress' were stiff memory foam and they seemed to hold heat also. We had plenty of space for down time. I didn't really appreciate some of the rules such as no shoes inside, leave the shower doors open after use (there were only shower curtains) and dry out the washing machine if we used it? This condo is also located on a busy street day and night.
I have stayed in larger homes before and didn't have any of these problems. I do appreciate the accommodations but won't be staying again. We enjoyed Louisville and did a lot: Ziplining, Big Four Bridge, Glassworks, etc. Great restaurants everywhere.
The condo was left in good condition by the guest.
The downtown Old Louisville area was established as a result of the Southern Exposition which took place in Louisville for seven years starting in 1883. This home and all of the old mansions located from Kentucky Avenue and the streets south between 3rd and 4th were built for the Southern Exposition. Thomas Edison displayed his new electric light bulb at the Southern Exposition. Visitors from all over the world came to see the new light bulb and Thomas Edison. Take a walk around this area and imagine the horse and buggies on the streets driving past the beautiful new homes in 1883. Rent the entire building for $600 per night, 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 2 fully equipped kitchens.
