Our family has owned this house for a very long time, and we have had joyous years of using the house for summer fun, Christmas time parties, lounging on the porch, watching fireworks on the fourth of July, fishing off the pier, and great nights of cooking for large groups of friends and family. Some of us live in NYC, others in Washington, and others in Connecticut. This is our favorite vacation place.

This is a magical house, with warm rich wood and stone details, on the beach, with lots of lovely rooms for rest and privacy, and spacious communal spaces for parties, family reunions, or work retreats.
Great location on the beach, perfect for large gatherings, but the house has so much space, and so many remote niches that it is also easy to find a quiet place to curl up and read a book. Private space and party space all wrapped into one incredibly beautiful house!
We had a great stay at the arts and crafts house! Plenty of comfortable seating and sleeping areas, with an updated kitchen and beautiful location! In the winter, it was a bit drafty in the living room area, but the fireplace worked great and the rest of the house heated well. We hope to stay there again :)
My friends and I really enjoyed the property. Great location, lots of space and close to many businesses. Great water view from all windows at the front of the home.
This beachfront house was the perfect reunion gathering site. The house is stunning and has wonderful character. The kitchen was well equipped and provided a cozy corner for breakfast. The beach and view were beautiful. And the owner was responsive and helpful. Nine friends all assembled here as we were attending a memorial gathering for another dear college friend. It was the perfect retreat and each couple or individual had a comfortable room, while enjoying several different shared gathering spaces. It is the PERFECT place for Yale grads if they want a mini-reunion near Yale.
We spent a weekend with a group of friends and loved the house. It has a lot of rooms and common space. Living room with a piano is awesome. Deborah was really helpful in asking all the questions we had and proactive about sending us detailed instructions and having notes placed all over the house.
We needed a place with easy access to New Haven for a wedding. This house was perfect - 6 BRs meant having a place for 12 people. All of the nooks and crannies meant everyone could do their own thing. We took full advantage of the beach. Local deli, Waters Edge, had a yummy breakfast. Deborah was so helpful with any questions. It was a great escape and back drop for the family events. Thank you.
We stayed at Debbie's house for the weekend of my wedding in New Haven - we invited a bunch of my parents' old friends to stay with us. Those friends are often super picky about the cleanliness of where they stay. Debbie's house was perfect - well stocked with supplies, really clean, and perfectly located. All the guests mentioned that they'd definitely stay there again.
