This apartment is 712 square feet, with a large Air-conditioned Bedroom and lots of storage. The Living & Dining room is spacious and seats 7, there is also a Futon sofa which can accommodate additional sleeping arrangements. A fully equipped Kitchen offer all the amenities.

Guests can enjoy a roomy Bathroom with a large Rustic Shower. All rooms have Ceiling Fans.

Cleaning service is offered twice weekly at no additional cost. Guests can relax on the Pool Deck with a good book in Deck chairs. Outdoor dining is available.

My husband and I are a mature couple, we are both retired and were born in Barbados.

We take pride in our property and will endeavor to make our guests as comfortable as possible.

Why Elnora Hatch chose Barbados

We built this property in 2008. We wanted an area that was not far from all the amenities, but still had that country-like setting. with a feeling of peace and tranquility, We found all this and more.

This apartment was completed a few months ago. This will be our first rental.

What makes this apartment unique

We sit on the Pool Deck in the evening enjoying the peace and serenity at this time of the day, the gardens, the singing of the Birds and the gorgeous blue of the Pool & Sky.

Great place to stay!

We stayed at Elnora's downstairs apartment for three weeks. It is a great place to stay. The kitchen is modern and well stocked with cooking equipment for your stay. Twice a week maid service was perfect. Beach towels, beach chairs and a small cooler made going to the beach easy. As we spent every day at the beach, we only used the pool a bit, but it was perfectly maintained and always available. We would recommend a car, as it would be a bit of a trek uphill from St. Alban's beach at the end of the day. A car is just convenient to have to explore the island on your own, but I must say that the bus service on the island is very reliable and if you don't mind walking down the hill about half a mile to the bus stop you could make due without a car. Massy's Supermarket in Holetown provides free Van transportation home after you have shopped there. The house is located in Carlton View, an extremely nice and safe neighborhood. The house is gated with a security system as well. We truly enjoyed our stay and Elnora's hospitality.

Fabulous Apartment

We stayed at Casa de Flores for 24 nights in January 2016

and have no hesitation in recommending this fabulous apartment.

We were warmly welcomed by Elnora and her family and shown the apartment. We were not disappointed! It is the ground floor of part of a large private house with its own access. The house is in a secluded development and is very secure. It is surrounded by a beautiful garden.

The apartment is spacious and airy, with modern attractive fittings and furniture. The kitchen is very well equipped so that it was easy to combine self-catering with visits to restaurants.

It is also spotlessly clean and the twice weekly maid service is excellent. We had no problems with the Wi-Fi connection; in fact it was excellent. If there were any problems or issues arising (we had one with UK region DVD’s) Elnora did do her best to sort them out and find a solution.

We would definitely recommend hiring a car, although our travels convinced us that the best beaches were the local ones closest to the apartment.

Casa de Flores proved to be ideal holiday accommodation for us; we appreciate peace and quite so it was a real home from home. We look forward to returning again next year, which is the best possible recommendation there is!

Absolutely wonderful, can't wait to go back!

We think of Barbados as our "second home" and now we've found a place to stay that fits the bill as well! Casa de Flores is truly a "home from home", Elnora (the owner) has thought of absolutely everything imaginable to make her vacation rental wonderful, there is nothing she hasn't thought of to ensure her guests comfort. Situated on a hill above the main coast road in a quiet residential area the ever present cooling breeze is a welcoming delight after a hot day on the beach and the salt water pool is a perfect retreat for lazy days set in Elnora's pride and joy - her garden, beautifully and carefully landscaped to provide colour and shade!

Elnora's a wonderful hostess who goes the extra mile for her guests, there were chocolates and a bottle of wine cooling in the fridge when we arrived hot and tired after our journey from the U.K. and one afternoon when lazing in the pool we got to taste her homemade sorrel liqueur -wow!! On our last evening we were also lucky enough to sample her home cooked Marlin, Elnora certainly knows her way around the kitchen, another "wow"! The apartment has a wonderfully equipped kitchen, is spacious, clean, well maintained and comfortable offering everything you could possibly need for wonderful holiday. Elnora also has an expert knowledge of the island and can offer hints and advice on what to see and do.

Car hire is probably best but if you don't mind the 15 minute or so walk down to the main road there are plenty of buses and taxis available to get you almost anywhere on the island. Barbados boasts many supermarkets equalling their British counterparts tho perhaps cows heel and pigs tails wouldn't be high on my shopping list, strangely enough they all seem to sell Waitrose foods along side local and imported goods! The fish and seafood from the fish markets along the beach road just couldn't be any fresher, fabulous!

Barbados has many beautiful sights that really are worth seeing, the east and north coasts boast stunning beaches tho swimming can be dangerous but watching the Atlantic waves crash against the shore at the Animal Flower Cave or Little Bay provides memories that will last a lifetime! Along the west coast the beaches get busier but are calmer and perfect for swimming and snorkelling.

I could rave on about Barbados and all its wonders for ever but I'll stop boring you now! Just remember if you're looking for a home from home with a wonderful host then Casa de Flores is just what you're looking for!

The perfect retreat with the perfect hosts

We really enjoyed our 10 day stay at Casa de Flores.

On our 4th visit to Barbados, this was easily the best stay we've had.

It was the first time we did not stay in a hotel or resort, and we found it much more relaxing.

Sue and I were made very welcome by Elnora and Robin, and they were most helpful during our stay.

As other reviewers have said, the apartment is well furnished, equipped and maintained and the lovely garden and pool provided a welcome haven after a busy day out.

We would like to thank Elnora, Robin and Elnora's sister, Hazel for their great warmth and hospitality, and would not hesitate to recommend Casa de Flores as a base for a great holiday.

My husband and I highly recommend this property! The location is safe and convenient, even with a fresh fish market close by with fabulous, affordable local catch of the day. The kitchen was modern and fully equipped for cooking dinners at home, the property was impeccable with luxurious gardens and privacy. We do recommend a car for convenience and maximum enjoyment.

We had no problem adapting to driving on the left side, and found everyone to be very courteous and helpful as well as Elnora,who was and excellent hostess. She thought of every detail to make our stay wonderful and warm, a home away from home.
