If you enjoy historic, yet comfortable, places for your vacation you will fall in love with this charming 2 bedroom 1.5 bath 900”+ sq. ft. Heritage Home Landmark just 4 blocks from La Jolla’s famous Windansea Beach- with its expansive vistas and charming seaside landscapes.
Arrive at this sweet cottage and be greeted by a luscious grassy lawn and a table for 4 with a barbecue for times when eating outside feels like the perfect thing to do. Notice the font deck too - it is a perfect place for morning coffee or an evening libation.
Take a short walk to the beach - 5 or 6 blocks - and relish in the experience of the expansiveness and stellar beauty of the Pacific Ocean - while its breezes envelop you in this mild climate, even in the wintertime.
Enter and find yourself in a beautifully appointed light, bright living room area with tall windows, a fireplace, a 27” flat screen TV with full cable, A VCR and a DVD player, and comfortable cluster seating from which to enjoy it all. Be sure to notice the original wonderful wood plank flooring throughout this home.
A pleasant dining area for 6 accompanies the living room as does a light, bright modernized kitchen with everything you need to satisfy your culinary desires. Just add the food and the camaraderie and enjoy catching up with each other as you feast away. There is a dining nook here too.
This space also offers access to a south-facing private deck, located just off of the dining area, and also access to a half-bath, located near the stairs. This half bath area also offers a stacked washer/dryer and a large cabinet.
The master bedroom, located on the second floor (12 step staircase) of this cottage, features a king bed, outfitted with luxury linens and pillows, and matching nightstands with lamps.
This room also features a long floor-to-ceiling window, a comfortable chair, and a small vanity. Just outside of the door are large closets and access to the full bathroom, which features a full mirrored vanity with sink and a shower and tub.
The 2nd bedroom is located in the loft, just steps down from the master bedroom, and is outfitted with a queen bed and a twin trundle bed that tucks under it. A mirrored closet and a large window let sunlight pour in over the sitting chair and side table.
This space also features a long counter with a sink, mirror, vanity lighting, and cupboard space so everything can be stowed away neatly.
Additional amenities include high speed WIFI, and driveway parking for 1 car as the 2-car driveway is shared with the cottage next door. There is additional street parking if needed. Heating is also available.

Short walk to the beach and also a short jaunt to La Jolla Village with its grocery stores and coffee bars, as well as world-renowned shopping and dining. Great location!
The yard area, walkways and entrances to the property are shared with neighboring homes. Each home has its own gas barbecue and outdoor dining area. Homes may be rented together to accommodate larger groups up to 21 guests. (See Things to Know) section below for details.

Due to the moderate coastal climate, this house (like most in the area) does not have air conditioning.
This home is located in a neighborhood and is only suitable for quieter groups. Our rental agreement includes a no tolerance policy regarding excessive noise, occupancy and/or parties. Deposit forfeitures and/or evictions are strictly enforced. Please make sure you are comfortable with these policies before renting with SeaBreeze Vacation Rentals.

Worst place, worst service, infested with spiders and roaches
Looks are deceiving, and do not be deceived by the charm of this "cottage". We booked this through Sea Breeze rentals (the property manager) and they were a complete nightmare. We arrived to a very dirty, dusty, roach and spider infested house. There were spider webs full EVERYWHERE covered in spiders. Even the dining room chairs had spiders and spider webs. We had to kill and chase roaches out of the kitchen. This was all within minutes of walking in. The place was covered in dirt and dust even though there was a card with Sea Breeze rentals logo on it saying it had been cleaned by "the persons name". It obviously had not been cleaned in months. The only bathtub/shower in the place was disgusting. The kitchen was filthy and was not equipped with the essentials you expect when choosing a vacation rentals. We tried for 17 hours to get in touch with the property manager to let them know the place was unacceptable, not like advertised, and our family was at risk with the amount of spiders and bugs crawling around the whole place. When they finally reached back out to us after 17 hours they emailed (not even the decency to return our phone calls) and said they were sorry for the noise issues! We never once mentioned noise issues, and they completely ignored the crisis we were having. After a long stressful evening we decided to get some sleep, and try again in the morning to reach SeaBreeze to have them take care of the major issues. When we awoke, our 1 year old son had spider bites from head to toe. We were in tears and appalled that this would happen and that Sea Breeze was ignoring the severity of the issues. We left that day and will never rent from Sea Breeze again. If I could give this a negative star, I would. Worst experience from a vacation rental ever.
