Overview

About the property

4 Bedrooms, 2 Full Bathrooms, Hot Tub, Two Decks With Beautiful View Of Woods

This is a simple home in the woods. It sits on a nearly 13 acre private wooded lot. There is a half-mile private, dirt access road to the house ... giving a true sense of being away.

The upper level is open and spacious, including the kitchen, dinning room and living area. There are four bedrooms on the lower level, with four sets of bunk beds, a 'twin' room with three single beds, and one room with a full sized bed. There is also a fold out couch bed in living room.

The upper and lower decks overlook tranquil woods and the hot tub, providing a relaxing place to gather.

Our basement is unfinished, and includes large capacity washer and dryer, ping pong and foosball tables and three swings.

Take long walks on the dirt road, and through the 12.5 acres surrounding the home. There are plenty of area activities throughout the entire year (see below list).

Fantastic mountain house!

  • 5 of 5

For the price, this house was the perfect winter get away. Myself and 9 friends stayed there for a college reunion weekend over President's Day. The amenities in the house were great, board games, movies, Jacuzzi, and plenty of kitchen and dining space for a large group. The ski area was not difficult to get to. And we got lucky with some beautiful early spring weather, so the double decks got put to plenty of use! We're already planning a annual trip back for next year!

Great Ski Weekend at Blue Mountain!

  • 5 of 5

The house was great and very spacious for our guests. The amenities like the hot tub, ping pong table, and flat screen TV made for some great relaxation after long days on the slopes. The owner was very accommodating and helpful. Overall, it was a great trip, and I would highly recommend the stay!

If you're looking for a getaway, look no further

  • 5 of 5

We rented this house back in March, and it continually comes up in conversation still. It's perfectly secluded, whilst not being far from town. If you're looking for some time to clear your thoughts and get away from the nonstop hustle of life, you've found the right place. I honestly don't know if we'll be able to rent anywhere else in the Poconos when the time for another getaway comes, without seeing if this place is open first! What a wonderful setup, and make sure you get in that hot tub under the trees!

A pleasant weekend reunion of friends

  • 5 of 5

Each year my friends and I rent a house in the woods as a homebase from which to go on some hiking trips during the day. Our stay this year was comparable to any of our previous rentals. The house was spacious, well maintained, clean and had many nice amenities. There were ample supplies of linens and towels. The appliances all worked well. We definitely enjoyed the hot tub which helped after our long hikes with some awesome jets.

Our host was helpful in providing us with a ton of useful information and expectations. For instance, we were warned about the neighbor’s friendly dogs who we were worried that we might hit them as they ran around our cars but the dogs were extremely friendly and beautiful. Our host quickly responsed to any questions we had. One of our drivers was concerned about the dirt road but we were clearly warned about it. We did not have any problems but you do have to drive carefully.

The best surprise to me that there really were no surprises. We enjoyed being in such a beautiful location and able to truly get away from it all as there was no television (though we knew that in advance as well). We are grateful that we had such a great place to stay this year.

Great property for a relaxing vacation in the mountains!

  • 5 of 5

We had a great stay at this house. Plenty of room for relaxing inside and outside tucked away in the woods. The hot tub is huge! More than enough sleeping room, big living room and kitchen. The basement is a great hang out spot along with the top deck and fire pit. I highly recommend staying here for a relaxing weekend.

It's an awesome house tucked back in the woods. There's plenty of fun to be had either at the lake or on the property. Book with confidence that Andy will make sure you have everything you need for a nice getaway.
