Overview

About the property

4 Bedrooms, 2 Full Bathrooms, Hot Tub, Two Decks With Beautiful View Of Woods

This is a simple home in the woods. It sits on a nearly 13 acre private wooded lot. There is a half-mile private, dirt access road to the house ... giving a true sense of being away.

The upper level is open and spacious, including the kitchen, dinning room and living area. There are four bedrooms on the lower level, with four sets of bunk beds, a 'twin' room with three single beds, and one room with a full sized bed. There is also a fold out couch bed in living room.

The upper and lower decks overlook tranquil woods and the hot tub, providing a relaxing place to gather.

Our basement is unfinished, and includes large capacity washer and dryer, ping pong and foosball tables and three swings.

Take long walks on the dirt road, and through the 12.5 acres surrounding the home. There are plenty of area activities throughout the entire year (see below list).

Private, large, well maintained, very wooded beautiful home in Jim Thorpe PA

  • 5 of 5

Everything was great. Andy is a fantastic property owner. He was easy to work with and communication with him was easy and fast. The house is very wooded and there is a long private driveway back to the house. The home is 3 stories high and well maintained. The kitchen and common area is on the 3rd floor with a large outdoor patio, which made the views outside terrific. The 3rd floor patio was a great place for us to hang out and cook dinner. There are four bedrooms on the 2nd floor and two of the bedrooms have outside patio access near the hot tub.

Thanks again!

Quite, isolated, warming, beautiful, big and very clean!

  • 5 of 5

Andrew was a very kind, informative and helpful host. From the day we booked to days after we left he has always been able to answer all our questions with no delay. Provided nearby attractions and stores for all our need. Very effortless transaction. The house is huge, enough room for 10 people. We had all the appliances that we needed. Everything was super clean and easy to find. The game room in the basement was a huge plus on a rainy day. And the jacuzzi was a big bonus. Secluded with plenty of woods to hike right in the back yard. During our stay we traveled to Harmony ATV tours, what a great experience along with SunSet Hill Shooting Range. Plenty of attractions nearby. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you so much for making this getaway so effortless and pleasant!

Pretty much what we expected.

Woodsy, lots of rooms, things to do etc...Long drive up gravel road to property. Ping pong, games, internet is available. But blu ray player was broken, and a little short on sheets which was not a big deal.

Wonderful place.

  • 5 of 5

It's a great property. Well maintained and not in a busy city center.

There were plenty of bunk beds to choose from and it was fun for the kids to change rooms.

The grown ups enjoyed bunking too ! The Neibour's dog drops in every so often and it had a great family feel to the place.

Not having an AC can make it a little warm in July especially when cooking but by bed time it cools off and is comfortable. Besides we were so tuckered out that we slept like babies.

The living area is amazing. It was lovely to hangout play board games and just catch up with each other. We ended up cooking a lot and it was very convenient. The kitchen has pots and pans that were used by an actual family so they are more convenient and better quality than what you would find at a hotel kitchennet for example.

The host is a lovely person. He was fairly quick responding to our inquiries even though it was the July 04 weekend and we had a lovely stay.
