Home, 4 Bedrooms, 4 Baths, (Sleeps 8)
Beautiful views of the mountains set on 10 acres. A stream runs through the property, yet the house location is near the main road for easy access during winter months. With 4 bedrooms and a bath to go with each, this home easily accommodates 8 people. Tucked away is a rural 10 acres surrounded by national forest, cell phones do have weak signal, and internet is not available, but who needs it!? The serenity of the home quietly whispers "vacation" in your resting ears, as you are taken away on country roads to its docile hearth. Though not far off of the highway, the private country road does become narrowed with snow in the winter, so a 4wd vehicle is recommended to access this serene vacation retreat.
As you enter the front door, the kitchen, with elevated bar and 4 barstools, is immediately to your left. A separate door leads to the laundry room. In front of you is the wide open living and dining area with two story A-frame windows. Moving to the right of the living room you enter the Master bedroom. It has an adjoining Master bath with two vanities. Just past the kitchen and bar is the second Master. It also has it's own bath. To the right of the front door is the staircase leading to the remaining two bedrooms. One has a Queen bed, the other two Twin beds. Each has an attached bath.
Perfect setting for two families or one large family! Our house is brand new! Rentals beginning May 2011.
In order to take advantage of the beautiful sunny skies in Colorado, our home operates on solar energy with generator backup. Individual temperature controls are available in each bedroom for your comfort.
This is a spectacular home only 6 miles outside Breckenridge town center. Also nearby are the towns of Frisco, Dillon, and Silverthorne (outlet shopping!). Lake Dillon offers summer boat rentals.
The location is perfect for summer biking, hiking, and river rafting or winter skiing.

Great setting! Tucked away from Breck; close enough to not spend the day driving
Great setting! We saw wildlife everyday. From chipmunks and foxes to deer and even an encounter with 2 moose. Directly across HWY9 from McCullough Gulch. Only down side was lack of internet/phone because it was remote.
Thank you so much for the feedback! We are delighted to read that you had a great time. It makes us happy how you enjoyed the setting and wildlife everyday. We appreciate your comments and would love to host you again should you decide to book another stay with us.
