The natural environment of the patio area provides a relaxing atmosphere and is an habitat for certain species of birds, coquies and doves... our daily guests.
Main highways, local and international restaurants, gas stations, supermarkets, local bars, pharmacies and shopping malls are just around the corner.
Only 20 minutes from San Juan, 45 minutes from El Yunque rain forest and beautiful Luquillo beach.
Three bedrooms with air conditioning are upstairs overlooking the nature and pool.
Two bedrooms with queen size bed, master with a King size bed with a full bathroom. 2.5 bathrooms, Family, living,large open kitchen with pantry, washer and dryer, outdoor gas grill, dining room, plenty of outdoor sitting areas.
Cable TV, Netflix, Internet, 2 TV units ( one in the master bedroom).
Casa is ideal and oriented to young adults, senior citizens, honeymooners, wedding anniversaries, couples, friends and corporate rental.
Exploring Puerto Rico is a wonderful experience and requires a car rental. I will be very happy to host you at Casa de la Serenidad.

SHORT TERM RENTAL AGREEMENT:
This Rental Agreement and contract ( "the agreement") is a legally binding agreement made and entered into as of the Reservation Date written below by undersigned owner or agent (Rental Agent") pursuant to which the Guest has agreed to rent the residence located at Road 189 intersection road 931, Valle Borinquen #6, Navarro, Gurabo, P.R 00778, for duration of the Rental Term for the total Rental Fee and other good and valuable consideration as described herein.
Guest agrees than no more than six(6) persons shall be permitted on the property at any time during the Rental Term, all of whom shall comply with the conditions and restrictions imposed upon Guest under this Agreement. Pets are not allowed . No Events celebration allowed during this Rental Term.
CONDITION AND USE OF PROPERTY
The property is provided in "as is" condition. Rental Agent shall use its best efforts to ensure the operation of all the amenities in the Property , such as internet access, satellite or cable TV access, pool, air conditioning or electrical appliances. Rental agent shall not be held responsible for such items failure to work, but will make every effort to correct any issues as reported as quickly as possible.
Guest acknowledges that use of amenities such as pools, spas, decks, gas grill, and the like may be potentially dangerous and involve potential risks if improperly used, particularly with regard to children and such use is at the Guest's own risk.
When leaving any room , You MUST TURN OFF all air conditioner units. Leaving room doors open while the air conditioner is On is NOT permitted and it may cause damage to the units and the power system of the house may fail. Charges for the damage will apply.
NO re-arrange of furniture is permitted inside or outside of the house.
Guest shall use the Property for residential purposes only and in a careful manner to prevent any damage or loss to the property and keep the Property in clean and sanitary condition at all times.
The Property is on a well and septic systems. The septic system is very effective; however, it will clog if improper material is flushed. DO NOT FLUSH anything than toilet paper. No feminine products should be flushed at any time. If it is found that feminine products have been flushed and clog the septic system, you could be charged damages of up to $250.00.
Guest and any additional permitted guests shall refrain from loud noise and shall not disturb, annoy, endanger, or inconvenience neighbors, nor shall Guest use the property for any immoral, offensive or unlawful purposes, nor violate any law, association rules or ordinance, nor commit waste or nuisance on or about the Property. There is no daily housekeeping service. Garden and pool cleaning will be once a week. Additional request of service will be charge and paid at the moment of the service
If Guest should fail to comply with the conditions and obligations of this Agreement, Guest shall surrender the Property, remove all Guest's property and belongings and leave the property in good order and free of damage.
No refund of any portion of the Total Rental Fee shall be made and if any legal action is necessary, the prevailing party shall be entitled to reimbursement from the other party for all costs incurred.
ASSIGNMENT OR SUBLEASE
Guest shall not assign or sublease the Property or permit the use of any portion of the Property by the other persons who are not family members or guests of the Guest and included within the number of and permitted occupants under this Agreement.
RISK OF LOSS AND INDEMNIFICATION
Guest agrees that all personal property, furnishings, personal affects and other items brought into the property by Guest or their permitted guests and visitors shall be at the sole risk of Guest with regard to any theft, damage, destruction or other loss and Rental Agent shall not be responsible or liable for any reason whatsoever.
Guest hereby covenants and agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Rental Agent and their agents, owners, successors, employees and contractors from and against any cost, damages, liabilities, claims, legal fees and other actions for any damages, costs, attorneys fees incurred by Guest due to any claims relating to destruction of property or injury to persons or loss of life sustained by Guest or family and visitors of Guest in or about the Property and Guest expressly agrees to save and hold Rental Agent harmless in all such cases.
Guest herby waives and releases any claims against Rental Agent, the Property owner and their successors, assigns, employees or representatives, officially or otherwise, for any injuries or death that may sustained by Guest on or near or adjacent to the Property, including any common facilities or amenities.
Guest agrees to use any such facilities or amenities entirely at the Guest's own initiative, risk and responsibility.
ENTRY AND INSPECTION
Guest shall allow access to the property for purposes of repair inspection, pool and garden maintenance. Rental Agent or any employee shall exercise this right of access in a reasonable manner and by mutual agreement for the benefit of Guests.
If Rental Agent has a reasonable belief that there is imminent danger to any person or property, Rental Agent may enter the Property without advance notice.
UNAVAILABILITY OF THE PROPERTY
In the event the property is not available for use during the Rental Term due to reasons, events or circumstances beyond the control of the Rental agent, Rental Agent will apply due diligence and good faith efforts to locate a replacement property that equals or exceeds the property with respect to occupancy capacity, location and value that meets the reasonable satisfaction of the Guest. If such replacement property cannot be found and made available, Rental Agent shall immediately return all payments made by the guest, whereupon this Agreement shall be terminated and Guest and Rental Agent shall have no further obligations or liabilities in any manner pertaining to this agreement.
50% refund if cancel before four weeks the start of the trip.
If a Guest decide for any reason to arrive after the day of the duration of the Rental Term or leave the Property before the Rental Term duration , No Refund will proceed for any unused portion of the rent.
If there is a storm or hurricane and the states or local authorities order mandatory evacuations in a "Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning area"and/or a Mandatory evacuation order has been given for a Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning" area of residence of a vacationing guest, The day that the authorities order a mandatory evacuation order in a "Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning" area, we will refund:
Any unused portion of rent from a guest currently registered;
Any unused portion of rent from a guest that is scheduled to arrive, and wants to shorten the stay o come in after the Hurricane warning is lifted; and Any advance rents collected or deposited .

The house is well located inside a gated community, safe and private area.
It is isolated from noise and crowded places and yet in a privilege location. Anything you might need is just around the corner. From the house you can easily reach local restaurants, gas station, shopping malls, supermarkets and main highways in just minutes.
As soon as you reach the place you feel the peace and serenity of nature.
If you want an active nightlife , it takes only 20 minutes to San Juan area.
The house was a good size for a family , ,but the appliance's are dated the fridge leaked which caused us to slip, the ceiling had a leak ,every morning the dining room floor had a puddle of water on the floor .The kitchen draws smelt damp , no kettle not sure how you made a cup of tea for breakfast.
No hair dryer was told to go to the local store and buy one, the garden is lovely but the trees need cutting back ,blocks all the sun out , we had a large tree fall down over the pool, which could have killed you if it fall during the day lucky for us it was during the night .
The owner has wasted no time in catering to the details with her property. We were greeted with a bottle of wine and other beverages to get us by until we could go grocery shopping. Socorro's friendly smile made us feel so welcome. She told us where we could find things, how to lock up, and the various amenities that were on sight. The home is in a gated community and its windows/doors open up to offer you the luxury of being outdoors while indoors (and it still maintains privacy even though there are neighbors). There are decorations on every wall and surface, but so tastefully done and with such care for detail. The pool area is an oasis to say the least; it has a waterfall, tables nearby, as well as a hammock, grilling area, and meditation/yoga area. The kitchen is fully stocked with every necessity, and has an attached dining area that made for pleasant breakfasts while listening to the birds chirp in the morning. There are 3 sitting areas, 3 bedrooms, and 2.5 baths. She had soap, shampoo, conditioner, and countless towels ready for use. There is a washer/dryer with detergent and fabric softener also. This came in handy after a day of muddy ATV riding. There is also sunblock, mosquito repellent, and beach towels for outdoor adventures. We like the location because it was in the center of the island, which allowed us to have easy access to beaches (20-25 mins), El Yunque Rainforest (45 mins), Ponce (45 mins), Arecibo Observatory and the Caves of Camuy (1.25 hours), Old San Juan (30mins). We preferred this location because it was away from the craziness that is San Juan, and allowed us to have a retreat. We did all of the touristy stuff during the day, but then came home, yes it was like our home, to relax and enjoy the house and what it offered. The bedrooms are air conditioned, but the main house is not. I thought that this would be an issue when it came to cooking, relaxing at night on the couch, or just hanging out in the house, but there was no issue at all. It was always very comfortable. There were also no issues with mosquitos (while inside and the doors open) because she keeps some mosquito traps in hidden areas that allow you to enjoy Puerto Rico's tropical environment without a mosquito's going away present. Amazing place...I'm already planning my next stay at the house (nevermind the fact that I have family there who could house me for free). I would rather stay at this property again.
Socorro was an amazing hostess! She provided everything you could possibly need & even offered to get our groceries before we got there. The house was absolutely breathtaking as well. The pictures definitely did it no justice. The rooms were clean & spacious, the bathrooms were spotless, the pool was great, it was a picturesque experience. I would recommend this home to everyone & plan on bringing my children back to experience Puerto Rico.
Socorro was amazing from the very beginning. That was the first sign that we would enjoy our vacation. Meeting her, sealed the deal. She gave us advice as to where to go, what to do. She was so helpful and made our first family trip something so life changing. Arriving at the house, I literally could not describe how beautiful the home was. Every single detail in that house was perfect. She walked us through every room and made us feel so welcome. Our days there were full of peace and we felt so disconnected from the world which was a blessing for us coming from New York. I would give this house a million stars if I could. Socorro, from the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for your patience, attention and generosity. We hope to see you again for round two.
Vivimos en esta Hermosa isla y decidimos hacer turismo interno. Casa de la Serenidad es impresionante, excelente localidad, relajante, con bellos jardines limpios y con buen mantenimiento. La casa tiene todo lo necesario, no necesitas llevar nada. Tanto nosotros, como 2 adolescentes y 2 ninos disfrutamos muchisimo. Cerca de la propiedad consigues un centro comercial con un Sam's, walmart, pizzerias, chili's, entre otros. En fin, visita Casa de la Serenidad y a nuestra HERMOSA isla y quedaras con muchos deseos de regresar.
