Perfect Romantic Getaway

  • 5 of 5

The pictures and description do not do the property justice. Place was extremely clean, well equipped and wonderfully warm and comfortable. The decorating is very tasteful and they have done wonders with a small space. The view perched above a bend in the Lehigh River is beautiful. We saw a bald eagle soar by just before we left. We plan on returning for each of the four seasons. Shopping for whatever you need is minutes away.

Perfect Ladies Getaway

  • 5 of 5

What a beautiful place to relax! The accommodations were perfect for the three of us. The lodge was adorable and very clean with comfortable furniture and beds. The scenery was spectacular with the river running through the back yard! It was very calming when sitting on the large covered back porch. There were lots of trails to hike, otherwise, we would have never left the house. We enjoyed hanging out and cooking in. We loved our stay and are talking about returning in the Fall. I highly recommend this place! Oh, and the family who manages the property is so nice and very friendly. Book now!

We love the Lehigh Lodge

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in the Cottage last summer and returned to Stoddartsville in April to stay at the Lodge. We got very unlucky with the weather (downpours and cold day 1, snow day 2, sunny but chilly day 3), but that's the gamble you take in early April. At least it meant we could build a fire in the fireplace every night.

The Lodge is very pretty and comfortable. Nice, comfy couch. Great bed. The river view is amazing. We quickly became obsessed with looking out at the river! The view from the porch is the best but you can see the river well from the living room, too.

We plan to go back next summer. Maybe more woodland creatures will come out during that trip. They were too cold to visit us this time!--but we did see a lot of songbirds.

Book this cabin but not when I want to be there! :)

Perfect Setting!

  • 5 of 5

The view of the river is spectacular. We stayed for our anniversary and it rained all weekend. No problem. We kept the fire going and opened the window to hear the sounds of the river and the great outdoors. The cabin has touches of an artist's flair. The beds are very comfy and the whole cabin is immaculate. I have already recommended this to friends.

Secluded Romantic Getaway

  • 5 of 5

Upon our snowy arrival we drove onto a cleared parking area and shoveled walking path into our lodge. Everything was covered in glistening beautiful snow. The lodge front door opens into an intimate cozy kitchen with modern day accents. As we walked through the lodge we were overwhelmed with the picturesque view of the snow covered trees and icy river.

The sounds of the running river behind the lodge is therapeutic. The lodge is a perfect retreat to get away from your daily hustle and bustle. The home has a tasteful decor while it's also fully equipped for your daily needs. Kitchen utensils, towels, linens, book shelves with brochures and magazines.

A beautiful Stain glass window in the dining room, a large cozy fireplace and large sliding glass doors in the living room made for the best mountain experience. I highly recommend this home for a mountain getaway. Rest and relaxation is just how we wanted to spend our honeymoon. Thank you Grant
