About the apartment

Centrally located in a quiet square, the flat is within walking distance to most of Porto landmarks, with easy access to major transportation lines.

The building has been completely renovated in 2014 to the highest standard, providing all the comfort of a modern house while maintaining its beautiful original features, such as its staircase or its windows in traditional Portuguese style.

The flat comfortably accommodates 6 people and it’s your perfect home away. Whether you are a family with children or a group of friends looking for a home away, this is a place you’ll be looking forward to come back to after a day out in the town.

With 125 square meters, the flat occupies the entire 3rd floor of the building.

The flat is very bright, with plenty of natural light coming from windows on three sides.

The flat has two bedrooms, one master bedroom, double bed and on-suite bathroom, and another bedroom also with a double bed. There is a second complete bathroom. There is also a charming mezzanine with two single beds that can serve either as a third bedroom (accommodating 2 people) or a relaxing sitting area. A small balcony overlooks the city. Bed linen and towels are provided.

The living room is tastefully decorated, including a dining table sitting up to 6 people. There is also a tv and free wi-fi internet throughout.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all the appliances and utensils necessary for you to prepare your Portuguese inspired meals, or simply prepare breakfast before you head out.

Access to the apartment

The apartment is located in the heart of the city and easily accessed by all means of transportation. Trindade Station is only 5 minutes walk away, and Sao Bento station is 15 minutes walk away.

If you happen to be travelling by car there are parking facilities nearby (50 meters from the flat and open 24/7). I’ll be happy to assist you with that.

There is also free street parking from 8 pm to 10:30 am.

Interaction with Guests

Starting from the very beginning till the end of the stay, guests will be accompanied.

We’ll personally greet you at the flat and take the time to explain how everything works, what’s around in the neighborhood and also give you suggestions and advice for you to enjoy our city to the most.

A beautiful place to stay in Porto!!

We spent three days in this beautiful top floor very spacious apartment. Filomena was a wonderful host, greeting us when we arrived, and explaining everything about the flat and giving us many suggestions for restaurants, groceries, sights, etc. Her attention to detail could not be missed in the decor and little touches of comfort that made this place truly a delightful home away from home. It was within walking distance to all the sights and close to the metro should anyone decide that walking was too far. Comfortable beds and linens, household items were there for our use. We would definitely stay here again and recommend this flat to anyone visiting Porto.

Beautiful flat and very kind hosts

Our wonderful hosts welcomed us with wine and fruits and kind recommendations. The flat was very spacious with comfortable beds and lots of storage and good heaters that kept us warm during our cold March stay. We did not cook but the kitchen was well equipped. Grocery store is downstairs and good restaurants were close by. And the metro is around the corner with lines that easily goes to the main train station or the airport. Highly recommend and would stay here again if visiting Porto.

A beautiful flat in a very convenient location

An excellent stay in a beautiful, comfortable, and very clean flat. We were met at Trindade station by Filomena's friend who took us to the flat and who showed us everything. The location could not be more convenient, very easy walking distance from Trindade metro station, a direction connection to the Airport and to Campanha station. While the 'sights' could easily be reached on foot, the neighbourhood felt real, with local shops and restaurants very close. Thank you!

Great apartment within walking distance to everything

This apartment was perfect for our family of 4, and the owners were wonderful to us! Our flight had been delayed, and we got into the city very late. Filomena and Walter were so kind, and waited for us at the apartment. They showed us around the place, which is so nicely decorated! There was plenty of room for all of us, and the extra bathroom was great! Wifi worked really well throughout the apartment. We walked to all of the sites in the city without a problem. We chose to stay close to the apartment for dinner, which was easy to do, since there are quite a few nice restaurants right out the apartment door. I highly recommend Tapabento Trindade, which is across the courtyard. The only thing I would recommend to future visitors is that, if you are going during the winter months, make sure you bring some extra warm clothes to snuggle in. Although the apartment had a unit in the main living area, and space heaters in the bedrooms, it still took a little while to warm up, and the extra fuzzy stuff would've helped out. Thank you Filomena and Walter for a lovely stay!!

Gorgeous, comfortable apartment near everything

The apartment is spotlessly clean, lovely and comfortable. Everything in it seems picked with care. The owners greeted us with fruit and port. They spent a good deal of time explaining the ways things work in the apartment and in telling us about local eateries. We were able to walk to most of the Porto sights and the metro was only two minutes away. One note of warning: the building has no lift and the apartment is three flights up. We had no difficulties but some might.

Great Stay

Filomena and Walter met us at the flat and gave us a tour and showed us where the important things were... that was much appreciated. The flat itself is very nice and decorated in a contemporary manner. Located very close to everything you would want to see... I think the longest it took us to walk somewhere of interest was maybe 10 minutes. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

On a side-note... the Chinese restaurant directly across the street (you can see it from the living room windows) has the BEST spring rolls.
