About the property

Gorgeous 2700 Sqft, 3 Bed, 4 Bath, Family Gathering Home At Coral Ridge Resort

Rule #1 - Don't drive the dune buggy down the stairs.

You can drive it while playing your favorite carting games on the 120 inch HD projection screen, or watching any of the 'Need for Speed' or 'Cars' movies... but it really does need to stay in the house.

The new arcade videogame on the main floor is awesome. Don't let your teenager beat you at any of the 1,400 vintage games on the machine!

The home sleeps 14 with two master suites and a bunk room. Relaxing living, dining, gaming, and reading rooms allow your group to spread out and enjoy the home how you want to enjoy it. The 9-foot ceilings and luxury appointments remind you that you are on vacation.

The resort amenities include a clubhouse spacious enough for large gatherings, a swimming pool, hot tub, equipped fitness center, putting green, fishing pond, basketball court, and children’s playground.

At Coral Ridge, you are just minutes from nine other golf courses, tennis courts, river rafting, hiking, biking and ATV trails. St. George, Zion National Park, and Sand Hollow State Park are only a short drive away.

About Elsie Rackham

One from CA, one from VA. We met in Utah, and after 20 years living in Syracuse, NY; Denver, CO; and Milwaukee, WI... we call Utah home again.

Elsie Rackham purchased this house in 2014

Why Elsie Rackham chose Washington

Location, location location. On the road to Zion National Park puts our home exactly where we want to be. Year-round activities with warm days and cool evenings. The ability to float and fish, hike and bike, explore canyons and trails and then soak in the outdoor hot tub or jacuzzi tub inside... perfect.

What makes this house unique

I know I want to vacation in Southern Utah, and I've heard good things about Coral Ridge Resort.... so why stay at 'Come to Zion?' Great question.

Laura and I have traveled and rented homes in beautiful places enough times to know that some rentals feel like hotels. Sterile, bland, soul-less places where you sleep and forget that you ever stayed there. On the other hand, some rentals are so 'home-y' and filled with the owners personal life, that it feels like they might be hiding in the hallway wondering why you are staying in 'their' home.

We want our guests at Come To Zion to feel so comfortable in our home that it feels like theirs. We organized the spaces so that the kids would have kids space. The grown ups would have grown up spaces. Spaces for quick check-ins with the office or business, and quiet spaces for a good book. It won't appeal to everyone (which explains why I've never seen a dune buggy in a hotel room before) but for those that it does connect with, we want you to LOVE IT.

Check out the photos. And, "Come to Zion."

Fantastic Vacation

  • 5 of 5

We rented 8 homes in the Coral Ridge Subdivision. It worked out well for our large family reunion. I didn't stay in this house, but we heard nothing but great things.

Impressive property!

  • 5 of 5

We had a fantastic experience renting this property for a family reunion in St George. The home was exactly what was described on the site and we were able to check in knowing exactly what we were getting. The home was well-maintained and spotless when we arrived. The location is fantastic and is close to everything in St George within 15 minutes while also being close to amazing hiking trails, scenery, etc. I would definitely stay here again!

As Advertised ... And Then Some

  • 5 of 5

Whether a vacation home or a hotel, I'm a researcher. I read all of the details and as many reviews as I can get in front of my eyes. Even after all of the research we were still so nervous that somehow our selection was too good to be true. In this case, the home is truly this good. This home lives up to the hype.

When I pulled into the community I had a worry that the homes were close together and this might feel cramped. The minute I walked into the house, those worries were eliminated. The pictures do not do the home justice when it comes to the size and expanse of the property. This home is a claustrophobic’s dream.

Once inside, you forget that you have neighbors on either side of the wall. There is so much light in home and it is so quiet that you forget this is a townhome. We stayed for 6 nights and I think I heard the neighbors 1 time.

The kitchen is well stocked. The electric griddle was great for French toast, the toaster worked like a charm, the grill outside is commercial quality.

There were plenty of towels for all of the bathrooms. The water heater is a work horse. 3 showers going at the same time to accommodate 10 of us in succession. No cold showers.

We enjoyed watching movies on the awesome projection screen and Stanley Cup and NBA Finals games were awesome. (They have a DVR, so it really is like being at home. Record your show and watch it later. It was nice not having to wait to see what happened on the Bachelorette.) The kids never were bored. (We made this a personal electronics-free vacation. They didn’t miss tablets or iPods over the week. Victory.)

The pool was the highlight for the kids. 2 minute walk. We probably spent 3-4 hours at the pool per day.. The pool has great depths for whatever the skill level of swimming. Sometimes it was quiet enough to feel like it was private. Other times it was crowded enough to feel like the community could use one more pool. The water temp was awesome, the chlorine levels were spot on (felt clean but didn’t burn your eyeballs out of their sockets), and there were plenty of pool chairs . There are great towels for the pool provided at the house.

Beds. THESE BEDS ARE SO COMFORTABLE. I never felt like the house was furnished with leftovers. Every bed is comfortable. My wife wants to know what brand of bed the master bed is so that we can upgrade here at home.

The owner is so quick to reply to reply to questions and never makes you feel dumb for asking. Perfection.
