440 West Condominiums are oceanfront and beachside. Located on the 4th floor is our spectacular 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo located in the heart of the south beach section of Clearwater Beach. Condo is freshly painted with all new furniture and features fantastic views of the Gulf Of Mexico and Clearwater Beach from every room! The balcony overlooks Little Pass which connects the Gulf of Mexico with the intracoastal waterway. The condominium is walking distance to the newly completed Beach Walk where you can find restaurants, shopping, the harbor, night life and Pier 60.

We had a excellent time on our vacation, I have no complaints. The owner Carlos was very nice and helpful from the get go. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others.
blood stain closest to the window by where the pillows lay. I'm a clean FREAK, so seeing this completely turned my stomach. I was able to wash the sheets, not get the stain out but at least wash them to know there clean, but the comforter is too big for the washing machine so PLEASE CHECK the green comforter, they might try to flip it over as if there was nothing there, just to be sure.
The light in the same bedroom, the wiring was shoved into the hole so the first person that pulled the string the wiring fell out. I fixed that myself so that we were able to see properly at night. The wifi stinks. Sometimes its lets you on, sometimes it doesn't. The light in the kitchen, it will stay on fully if you push the top in hard. Other than that it will flicker. The faucets in the kitchen and both bathrooms. The hot and cold water is on whichever side it feels. Normally cold on right hot on left, instead its cold where ever and hot where ever. You don't have that issue in the showers, thank God. The ceiling fan above the dining room table looks like its about to fall out of the ceiling. The air conditioner blew out while we were there. We thought maybe it was the thermostat that blew but we replaced the batteries in that, but it still wasn't pushing out cold air. Maintenance came, called BFCR and told them they needed to send their AC guy out. He didn't come for 2 days. Not his fault hes obviously busy, but BFCR decided to call me 2 hours prior to him coming opposed to letting me know that he would be unable to make it for several days. 8 people in a condo can suck all the air out. The AC was clogged. And if you read the reviews prior to my several, you will see the one where they said the AC broke down, well thanks to the AC guy accidentally spilling the beans, he let us know that he hadn't been there for 2-3 years, because BFCR never called to have him come out to make sure the systems were properly running.
Oh back to the security guard, make sure when you get your parking permit that they actually fill it out. Don, left mine blank and for 26 days they didn't know that I was a renter of 440 West and I woke up to a blue slip on my car stating that I wasn't supposed to be there and that my car will be towed.
They were painting the building the month we came also, so even though we hd a beautiful view, it was blocked by ropes. Also all the furniture on the patio was inside of the condo itself. You would think that BFCR would have had the decency to tell me
We rented this unit for the month of October. It was clean and had everything we needed with the exception of our food, of course. There were games and pool and beach toys for the grandchildren who visited. We liked the view even though we couldn't see the sunset. Watched the dolphins and the fishing boats every day from the balcony. It is so nice and close to the beach, no need to even cross the street. And there were plenty of activities and dining choices very nearby. We did have a problem with the air conditioner not working but we just called and someone was there within a reasonable time to do the repairs. Nice place, very comfortable, would definitely rent it again.
Excellent location on the beach. The dinner table accommodates four persons yet the unit sleeps six. Where do the other two eat? The managers, Carlos, is most helpful and pleasant to deal with. The outdoor parking can be a problem. I spent $18 to have the car cleaned yet the next day it was doused with the sprinklers. Also, the wind blows sand and salt water over the outside parking area. If you are not concerned about your car this is not a problem. Would I reserve the same unit next year, the answer is, yes. No rental unit is perfect.
This was our second time we stayed at 440 West Condominiums. This particular condo easily met all of our expectations. We especially like the location, view and while being close to all the action, is still relaxing. I would recommend this condo and the owner Carlos to anyone interested in a great vacation experience.
This condo is extremely clean, freshly painted and tastefully decorated with a fun "beachy" theme.
It is equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay at Clearwater Beach.
