Located on a no-drive beach in the quieter Daytona Beach Shores, your 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom home away from home awaits. It is a direct ocean front gem on the 6th floor of Blue Surf with both ocean and river views. From the time you enter you’ll be stricken by the ocean view. Both the living room and master bedroom have walk-outs to the large balcony facing the ocean. The kitchen and second bedroom windows look east to the river with its stunning sunsets. The open floor plan feels spacious and comfortable. The Master bedroom has a King bed while the second bedroom has one queen and one Twin XL. All beds have comfortable new mattresses. Your condo is well equipped. From kitchen wear to beach chairs… From secure parking to private clothes washer and dryer… YOU ARE SURE TO LOVE IT HERE. We have designed and equipped this unit with the expectation our renters will be either very long term or frequent returners. Beyond your unit, you’ll find great amenities. The Fitness Gym looks out to the ocean. There are tennis and shuffleboard courts. The community events room is convenient, large, and bright. The building and its grounds are secure. You are close to a driving-allowed beach if you prefer it. It’s an easy walk to the Sunglow Pier with a great casual restaurant: Crabby Joes. You are close to the attractions of Daytona and also just an hour from the attractions of Orlando and the Kennedy Space Center. We prefer monthly rentals but will accept shorter stays when available. Rates for stays of less than one month are available on request.
Here are some things that make our unit special:
-6th floor is the best floor. It is high enough so you don't get as much sea mist on the windows and so you are above the bug line (even though Daytona Beach has few fling insects). It is low enough so you don't feel the building move. I have trouble with heights but not from this unit at this height. Higher units make you feel like you are too far from the ocean. People walking the beach and dolphins swimming by look so small. When you look out from your living room or balcony on the 6th floor you always see ocean. The higher you get, the more you will be looking more at the horizon.
-We have 2 comfortable regular chairs and 2 comfortable lounge chairs (as well as a couple small tables for your cocktails and snacks) on the ocean balcony. If you want higher stools you may bring them out from the great room counter. The west balcony has four chairs but you can switch things up if you'd like to.
-No drive beaches are more private AND MORE SAFE. Sometimes you may want to drive on the beach. The entrance is less than a half mile away. Our no drive beach NEAR the drive beach is ideal.
-Great walking beaches are those that have interesting places to go. South from our condo are a number of beautiful private residences. North is just a half mile walk to Sunglow pier. Here you'll find one of our favorite casual restaurants - Crabby Joe's right on the pier.
-Tennis courts are rarely found on site of condo buildings in Daytona. We have both tennis and shuffle board.
-Exercise gyms are often an ugly afterthought tucked away someplace. Ours is well equipped, clean, and bright. It is on the first floor overlooking the pool and ocean (with great floor to ceiling windows).
-Have you ever rented a terrific looking place, been thrilled, then gotten into a bed with an old lumpy mattress. We recently bought all new top of the line mattresses.
-Parking is a breeze. You have a choice of parking in the indoor garage or parking outdoors.
-Do you like waiting for elevators. We have two. They are relatively new, quick, and never have long wit times.
-Packing big stuff is a nightmare. We are happy to provide beach toys for the kids, boogie boards, skim boards, floating noodles, beach chairs, umbrellas, even fishing rods. Grandkids coming... there is a pack and play.
-Who likes doing laundry. Very few 2 bedroom condos have private laundry. Most share with the other units on the floor. Here, you have your own private washer and dryer.
-We have large flat screen TVs in both bedrooms and the living room. We have high speed internet, a land line (important if you are "roaming" on your cell phone), and even a Wifi Printer so you can print directions, coupons, or that important letter from the office that you weren't supposed to worry about while you are on vacation.
-Daytona Beach Shores has much lighter traffic than Daytona Beach itself. Once you get south of the Dunlawton Bridge (and we are one mile south), traffic really tapers off.
We love Daytona Beach Shores, Blue Surf Condominium, and our unit 603. It is our goal to insure every guest leaves feeling they have had their best vacation ever!
My wife and I will make this our winter home in another five years. For now, we want to find people who will enjoy it as much as we do. We have other options for our visits to Daytona so we can make this - our favorite condo anywhere - available to guests.

We first discovered Daytona in the mid 1980s. We purchased our first condo there with my brother 10 years ago. As we near retirement (3-5 years) we wanted the perfect condo. We truly believe that while there are bigger, more expensive, and grander buildings and condos, Blue Surf has the amenities, security, and sense of pride, that make it comfortable and inspiring.

Just 6 miles to the Daytona International Speedway, 45 minutes from the Kennedy Space Center and 60 minutes from all of Orlando's attractions. Great restaurants of every type. Blue Surf Condominium is on Daytona's World Famous Beach in a section where no cars are allowed so it is quiet, safe, yet near the busier beach to the north.
