Hidden gem in Nipomo

  • 5 of 5

I am part of two Midwestern senior couples that spent the month of Feb in this house. It was very comfortable, spacious and well equipped. We enjoyed being in a quiet established neighborhood rather than a busy tourist area. It was so easy to hop on the freeway for day trips. Nipomo has a nice Von's grocery store & CVS pharmacy less than a mile away.. We enjoyed walking about a block to Las Cazuelas for great Mexican food. The large town of Santa Maria is only a few miles away and it has lots of shopping and entertainmwnt options. We took day trips to the Danish town of Solvang and ate Andersen's world famous pea soup in Buelton. We toured Hearst Castle and saw the elephant seals in San Simeon. We took a whale watching tour out of Ventura Harbor out to the Channel Islands. We hiked around the Rock in Morro Bay and ate great seafood at the Dutchman's. We walked on the boardwalk on Moonstone Beach in Cambria and loved eating outdoors at the Moonstone. Beach Bar & Grill. Don't miss the desserts at Linn's and BBQ at Main Street Grill in downtown Cambria. Pismo Beach was also a favorite area. Love watching the surfers from the pier and some great sunsets. Clam chowder at Splash Cafe is a must. The Cracked Crab in Pismo and McLintocks in Shell Beach are quite unique. Arroyo Grande has a fun Farmer's Market every Saturday afternoon and some great restaurants like Villa Cantina & Rooster Creek. Doc Burnstein's ice cream in several local cities should not be missed. Downtown San Luis Obispo is historic, charming and full of shops & restaurants (Firestone Grill was our fav).

Even though we loved all these great eating establishments, we cooked lots of tasty, relaxing meals at our Nipomo house. The kitchen is large enough for 2-3 cooks working together. It was so nice to have a garage big enough for 2 cars. The master bedroom has a spacious walk in closet and lots of storage in the attached master bath. All the rooms have large windows that provide lots of natural light.

Working with the owner Sami was a pleasant experience. We would gladly return to this property.

Good location nice place quiet

  • 5 of 5

We loved staying here it was clean and comfortable with easy access. The kitchen was well equipped for our 8 day stay for cooking. The beds were very comfy and cozy. We were in town for a wedding which we did the flowers for in the giant garage. Such a perfect location for access to all locations of the beautiful CA central coast. Highly recommended and a great deal!

We loved our stay.

  • 5 of 5

We arrived in a hurry and didn't read the binder before we took off to dinner. We misunderstood that the garage was where we needed to park, thankfully our car wasn't towed, yikes. Other than that hiccup, our stay was great. Big place, plenty of room. Only a few min to the town center.

Convenient Rental if attending an event at Dana Powers House!

  • 5 of 5

We rented this house while attending a wedding at the Dana Powers House - most other guests were staying in Pismo, but this was SOO convenient. The house was immaculate and has been cared for as if it's a hotel, everything throughout was simply spotless. The kitchen is huge and has all of the necessary cookware for a quick meal or a feast. The listing description was absolutely accurate and the owner has been quick in answering questions. I definitely recommend this rental.

Wonderful, Comfortable, Clean Home

  • 4 of 5

This home was perfect for our vacation. It was quiet, clean, well-maintained, well-stocked, and in a nice location. The kitchen is well-stocked, everything a person could possibly need. It's like a home away from home. The owner is very nice and very responsive. We had a great time on our vacation, and that was due to having this wonderful property to stay at. Thanks, Sami!

The location is wonderful as well. Close to grocery store, shopping, and places to eat. Easy access to the 101 freeway, and basically only 15 minute, at most, from the nearest beach.

We would definitely stay here again in the future.

Very nice

  • 5 of 5

This house was great for our stay in Nipomo. Very nice to have a two car garage. Very comfortable and basic accommodations. Very nice kitchen. Very close to Santa Maria and Pismo Beach. Property was clean. We would go back again and also recommend to others. We were able to have lunch at Jacko's which was GREAT. Couldn't get in for dinner. That place is busy.

Thank you. :)
