Why Owner/Property Manager chose San Diego County

I am often told how beautiful the land on which my house sits and that guests feel as if they are staying in Sherwood Forest

Great value

  • 5 of 5

Stayed with my wife and another couple for a wedding. Nice and quiet, close enough to all the vineyards and Oceanside as well. Everything was clean and comfortable. Would stay again.

Cozy and spacious home!

  • 5 of 5

Where is the 10 star when you need it? My family and I stayed at this lil charm and it was perfect for the kids and I! The photos don't serves justice; its spacious! The place was very clean and the patio was an added bonus. Can we talk about Paulette? AMAZING! She is a prime example of what customer service should be! Seriously, so accommodating! We will definitely my stay here again.

Lake Elsinore, CA

Roomy and comfy but false advertisement and needs new management.

  • 3 of 5

Two large living spaces with pretty comfortable beds, one more than the other though.

Cheaper nightly rates, without excess charges and no cleaning fee (but they need to have a cleaner so maybe a fee for that would be good).

Paulette who lives there was very nice and helpful with the things she could handle.

Quiet outdoor setting.

Comfortable (albeit stained) bedding

Paulette was very nice and had Juice and berries in the fridge for us.

They advertised Internet, and absolutely no means of internet available. This was huge for me because I never rent a place without internet with my husband's work, and two boys that love their pad time. Total false advertisement. I asked Paulette who said she had no idea about it basically, and I Emailed Tammy the first morning of our 6 day stay and she never got back to me. They lost a whole star for that for sure.

They definitely need to keep it cleaner. There were spiders in almost every corner of the walls, which we had to get rid of at least a dozen during our stay. At first glance things look clean but found it to be pretty dirty in the bathroom area and just needs more attention. No wastebaskets anywhere except one by the kitchen area. No hairdryer or toaster oven which is advertised as well. Bedding had multiple stains and sheet had pet hair all over it.

Everything outside was overgrown and messy. It was a struggle just to open and close the gate each time we entered. It would look really nice with upkeep.

The noise from upstairs was pretty intrusive. You hear everything, including the dogs barking and scratching. I have stayed in similar VRBO's and the setup was much better. I guess the insulation plays a part here. Luckily the A/C unit was good for covering noise, in one of the rooms.

Emailed Tammy the morning after we left asking about the Deposit refund process. 4 days later and still no response so I called Paulette who was very nice and got right on it calling Tammy. Tammy then jumps on and responds to the email and clicking the button she needed to 4 days before to get the refund process started, and another 4 days later I received it. Tammy never checks her emails apparently, or never did during and after our stay so don't expect any help from her.

If they had internet like they advertised, and kept the place cleaner I would have given it 4 1/2 stars (if they had it) even with the noise issues and other little issues because the cost is great for the space.

Great location

Beautiful patio with sun & shade. Lots of space. Comfortable beds. Paulette was so nice and helpful. The location was the best thing about it for me. Easy to get to relatives in Fallbrook and in Oceanside.
