Overview

About the property

House, 3 Bedrooms, 2.5 Baths, (Sleeps 6-8)

This newly renovated luxury home designed by an award-winning architect sits on the very top of Noe Valley - voted for two years in a row by San Francisco magazine as the most desirable neighborhood in the city – and has views of the city and/or bay from almost every room. This home is the perfect short-term residence for professionals, corporate executives, or vacationers. The home was built in 1902 and completely renovated in 2005. There is 3000 square feet of living space, a deck off of the kitchen for a morning cup of coffee or evening glass of wine overlooking the city, beautifully manicured backyard with a stone waterfall and hot tub complete with surround sound.

This is a Victorian home with a very contemporary interior. There are three bedrooms, two baths plus a powder room, a formal living room, a library/office with high-speed access, a formal dining room, an entertainment/family room and a full gourmet kitchen (complete with a SubZero refrigerator, Wolf range, Bosch dishwasher and two ovens, and breakfast nook with unobstructed views of the city and bay). There is also a one-car garage.

The master bedroom suite has beautiful cherry-wood walls, beams and ceiling. Nine 7-foot high all glass windows provide stunning views of the city and bay, particularly at sunrise. And the fireplace with Jerusalem marble cozies the room on a foggy San Francisco night. Beautiful limestone covers the floor and shower surround of the master bathroom and it also features generous designer double sinks. A heated bathroom floor keeps feet warm on chilly mornings, and the sound system in the master bedroom and bathroom allows you to start the day in style.

One guest room features a queen-size bed. The second has a twin bed with a trundle. Both guest rooms have stunning views of downtown and the Bay Bridge and enjoy joint access to a beautifully appointed bathroom which includes a tub and shower.

The gourmet kitchen, close to 500 square feet, is bright and airy opening onto a charming, flower covered deck with a sectional couch, a dozen brass lanterns, teak table and umbrella. A heat lamp allows you to enjoy the outdoors no matter the temperature (and fog!). The kitchen includes a subzero refrigerator, Wolf 5-burner range and two convection ovens for foodies, All professional cooking utensils are also provided with the property.

In addition to the deck, there is a beautiful patio with a hot tub and a perfectly manicured lawn and garden tumbling into a stone waterfall. There is also a grill for enjoying beautiful San Francisco evenings.

The library has custom cherry bookcases built in throughout the room with a warm reading nook and a designer Thomas Mosher desk for those that might want to turn it into an office. High speed DSL is available.

The living room is graced with a Jerusalem marble mantle for the working fireplace, contemporary furnishings handpicked from travel to Asia and views of downtown and the Bay Bridge.

The entertainment room features a 70” wide screen HDTV, DVD player. Surround sound is throughout the house.

There is a reason Noe Valley has been voted as San Francisco’s most desired neighborhood two years in a row. Not only is it safe and quiet, but when you wander down 24th street just one street over you will find marvelous little boutiques, coffee nooks, wine and cheese shops and wonderful restaurants to satisfy every palate. Seven minutes away you will find Ocean Beach and its beautiful dunes. Try a picnic there at sunset! You will be less than 15 minutes from Union Square, Fisherman's Wharf, and the financial district, the Sony Metreon, and 20 minutes from the San Francisco International Airport. Public transportation is also available at a bus stop one block away. This location in the City provides easy access to the freeways going south to Silicon Valley, Palo Alto, Stanford, Carmel/Monterey and beyond.

The owners have ensured that all the amenities are to the highest standards having lived in this residence since 2004.

Was a great respite for a last minute place to land

  • 5 of 5

Stacey was professional, responsive and so accommodating in helping to arrange our very recent stay at their cool SF Victorian! The first few days brought phenomenal mid summer WARM weather in the city, and it was so nice to have the deck with BBQ right off of the kitchen!

The views are to die for, the master room suite is so comfortable with an amazing bed, and the home amenities were great! We settled in and watched some Amazon TV in the cozy, comfy downstairs den and it felt just like home!

This is a lovely set up and I would highly recommend a couple or a family to stay! You will enjoy it!

house with a view

  • 4 of 5

the house was lovely as advertised with a view that is breath taking. There is no hook up to cable or network on the television so we news junkies had to leave all political news behind and rely on the ambiance of the house, radio, an occasional newspaper and a wonderful hot tub. Would we rent it again, in a heartbeat and Stacey was just wonderful in responding to our needs. One issue- the house is on a steep hill, so those with bad knees, as yours truly, were denied a walk around the block. other than that- enjoy!

Excellent location with good restaurants

  • 4 of 5

Noe valley is a great area. Use the muni j to go to downrtown San Fran. Remember to take 28 bus from stop on 24th street to so only 1 steep part to get to house. The hot tub is big and very relaxing even on a chilly day. Stacey left welcome bottle of wine and allowed us early access which was much appreciated as it was a rainy day.

Wonderful city home!

  • 5 of 5

We spent a long weekend in this home for a family trip and it was just perfect! Beautifully decorated, fantastic views, everything you could ever need, yet still comfortable. I felt like a princess in the majestic master suite with sweeping City views. We had three kids with us and they all loved the trampoline, hot tub, books and games (although these things are all nicely stored and not obtrusive if you don't have young children with you.) Stacey is a wonderful host and has thought of everything, from extra towels and toilet paper to a welcoming bottle of wine. I can't recommend this home highly enough.

The place was beautiful and very welcoming.

  • 4 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. Our previous arrangement cancelled 2 weeks before our daughters wedding. Contacted Stacey and she was more then accommodating, even allowed us to check in before the usual time. Plus our daughter lives only 2 blocks away. We were able to walk to it. Having a little outdoor space was very nice in the mornings. It was a warm weekend but perfect for a wedding. Lovely area and beautiful house.

Amazing San Francisco Victorian in great neighborhood

  • 5 of 5

We loved saying here. This house is a beautiful, comfortable, updated Victorian with absolutely stunning views. The kitchen is huge and great for cooking for a big group. The deck off of the kitchen is so peaceful with sprawling city views. The house itself offers lots of room for relaxing, while it's also great to have a backyard with a hot tub and trampoline to keep the kids entertained. This is truly a gem in the city. The neighborhood is clean, quiet, and safe. It was a perfect family spot. There are great restaurants and shops nearby -- really an adorable area.

We were so happy we found this spot! Highly recommended.
