This newly renovated luxury home designed by an award-winning architect sits on the very top of Noe Valley - voted for two years in a row by San Francisco magazine as the most desirable neighborhood in the city – and has views of the city and/or bay from almost every room. This home is the perfect short-term residence for professionals, corporate executives, or vacationers. The home was built in 1902 and completely renovated in 2005. There is 3000 square feet of living space, a deck off of the kitchen for a morning cup of coffee or evening glass of wine overlooking the city, beautifully manicured backyard with a stone waterfall and hot tub complete with surround sound.
This is a Victorian home with a very contemporary interior. The master bedroom suite has beautiful cherry-wood walls, beams and ceiling. Nine 7-foot high all glass windows provide stunning views of the city and bay, particularly at sunrise. And the fireplace with Jerusalem marble cozies the room on a foggy San Francisco night. There is a reason Noe Valley has been voted as San Francisco’s most desired neighborhood two years in a row. Not only is it safe and quiet, but when you wander down 24th street just one street over you will find marvelous little boutiques, coffee nooks, wine and cheese shops and wonderful restaurants to satisfy every palate. Seven minutes away you will find Ocean Beach and its beautiful dunes. Try a picnic there at sunset! You will be less than 15 minutes from Union Square, Fisherman's Wharf, and the financial district, the Sony Metreon, and 20 minutes from the San Francisco International Airport. Public transportation is also available at a bus stop one block away. This location in the City provides easy access to the freeways going south to Silicon Valley, Palo Alto, Stanford, Carmel/Monterey and beyond.
The owners have ensured that all the amenities are to the highest standards having lived in this residence since 2004.
Noe valley is a great area. Use the muni j to go to downrtown San Fran. Remember to take 28 bus from stop on 24th street to so only 1 steep part to get to house. The hot tub is big and very relaxing even on a chilly day. Stacey left welcome bottle of wine and allowed us early access which was much appreciated as it was a rainy day.
We spent a long weekend in this home for a family trip and it was just perfect! Beautifully decorated, fantastic views, everything you could ever need, yet still comfortable. I felt like a princess in the majestic master suite with sweeping City views. We had three kids with us and they all loved the trampoline, hot tub, books and games (although these things are all nicely stored and not obtrusive if you don't have young children with you.) Stacey is a wonderful host and has thought of everything, from extra towels and toilet paper to a welcoming bottle of wine. I can't recommend this home highly enough.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. Our previous arrangement cancelled 2 weeks before our daughters wedding. Contacted Stacey and she was more then accommodating, even allowed us to check in before the usual time. Plus our daughter lives only 2 blocks away. We were able to walk to it. Having a little outdoor space was very nice in the mornings. It was a warm weekend but perfect for a wedding. Lovely area and beautiful house.
We loved saying here. This house is a beautiful, comfortable, updated Victorian with absolutely stunning views. The kitchen is huge and great for cooking for a big group. The deck off of the kitchen is so peaceful with sprawling city views. The house itself offers lots of room for relaxing, while it's also great to have a backyard with a hot tub and trampoline to keep the kids entertained. This is truly a gem in the city. The neighborhood is clean, quiet, and safe. It was a perfect family spot. There are great restaurants and shops nearby -- really an adorable area.
We were so happy we found this spot! Highly recommended.
We spent 4 days and 3 nights in early February and the property and location were perfect for our family. The house was spacious, clean AND had spectacular views from the Master Bedroom. We also enjoyed watching the beautiful sunrise each morning from the spacious deck. The dining area was roomy and delightfully decorated but we really enjoyed gathering around the table in the kitchen, enjoying meals and chatting. We were also able to enjoy the warm fireplace in the large living room and take a dip in the hot tub. The host left some wonderful suggestions for meals and we had a delicious dinner at Firefly, a restaurant that was an easy walk from the house. I also took a morning walk to the close by shopping street and was able to get some delicious breakfast pastries from Noe Bakery. A memorable weekend! Highly recommend.
We spent 3 nights here with a total of 3 couples, 1 baby, 1 cat and absolutely loved our stay!! The house is beautiful with so many common areas to relax in as a group - backyard, patio, basement with entertainment centre, living room, kitchen nook, dining room. The trampoline was a highlight! Our car remained in the provided parking spot for most of the trip as it was an easy walk (expect some hills on the way back) to the Castro district to catch the bus to the wharf. Noe Valley is a lovely safe neighbourhood with plenty of restaurants. There is a Whole Foods within walking distance. The owner of the home is very responsive and friendly. Would definitely stay here again!
Noe Valley has been voted the best place to live in San Francisco by SF Magazine 3 years in a row.
