February Ski weekend

  • 4 of 5

Overall the studio condo worked out great for me and my 23 yr old daughter. Small unit but had everything we needed for our stay and to cook our meals. Would find this too small for 3 adults. Unit was clean and literally next to a lift station onto Snubber to take us up the mountain. Locker room downstairs made it easy to store our gear. Very short walk to the Brew House. Only concern was that the bathroom door would not close. Door and track are broken. Some initial trouble finding the key left for us due to recent snow fall, but a quick call solved the problem. Very responsive.

Perfect

  • 5 of 5

For a skiing couple, this studio cant be beat. Being exactly 15 steps from the Snubber lift is a rare treat, making it totally easy to pop home for lunch or adjust clothing because it's a bit colder than expected. It's cozy. The fold-up bed is easy to manage, and my wife and I both found it comfortable and slept well for three nights. The galley kitchen is well equipped with appliances and gear, it had everything we needed. Previous comment on the pots has apparently been addressed - when was the last time you fried eggs that slid around the pan? Nice!. Good closets and storage to put stuff away, ski locker downstairs to put the gear away. Great shower head. Water tastes great. It's an easy walk to the Brew Pub, and the one night we chose to do that the local shuttle bus stopped and offered a lift even though we had only 100 yards to go. Overall, we highly recommend this studio.

Ski Studio with everything you need

  • 5 of 5

As noted in the other review, the location cannot be beat. Nothing is more convenient for a ski trip than being able to walk 50 feet from your front door to the lift, especially for those who enjoy a good apres session. Cheryl was great, very accommodating and answered right away when we had a question on our way to Sugarloaf.

Overall Verdict: If it is just two adults or a small family, this place should be your first stop. Rustic, no frills studio on the mountain and across from the fitness center with community pool and hot tub access.

Generally an OK place to stay

  • 2 of 5

This place was very basic. You could only stay for a weekend at best. My husband and I stayed here on a last minute booking for February vacation for 3 nights, I can't imagine having a third person stay as well. I think it is really only a 2 person rental. It was clean, but in definite need of updates.

The kitchen, even though it is small, could use some more useful pots and pans. I had to improvise even to make a basic spaghetti dinner one night - good it was only two of us. Also, what kitchen items that were there, weren't clean -- I had to scrub a pot before making anything in it...same with coffee maker.

The pull out is a good idea space wise, but definitely needs a new mattress....like I said, fine for a night or two. No longer.

Location was excellent however. Literally steps to the lift.

Overall Positives: Location, $, wifi and nice tv/dvd player (although I had to search for the right remotes)

Overall Negatives: needs updating, new linens, blankets, towels, and more useful pots and pans.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your review. Pots and pans are on the way and I appreciate you letting us know. The couch and mattress are only a year old so it is more of a travelers choice on how comfortable it may or may not be. Thank you for choosing our property for your vacation and thank you for taking such good care of the condo while you were there. Sincerely, Cheryl
