About the property

Beautiful Private Villa Surrounded By Lush Landscaping And Soft Ocean Breezes.

Casa Rincon Pacific is located on the Punta Mita Peninsula 25 minutes north of Puerto Vallarta and 5 minutes south of the world renowned Four Seasons Resort in Nayarit, Mexico. The home is nestled between the tropical rainforest and the azure waters of Bahia Banderas and is one of 12 private lots in the intimate gated community of Paradise Coves. Paradise Coves derives its name from a series of beautiful small private coves that grace the verdant Punta Mita coastline and because of their private setting, the beaches in front, south and north of the development are pristine and virtually vacant!

If snorkeling, kayaking, surfing, fishing or just plain beach combing sound like a good way to spend a day in tropical paradise, then Casa Rincon Pacific is your perfect vacation home. If you are looking for night life you can find it either 20 minutes north in the small town of Sayulita or 30 minutes south in Puerto Vallarta where you will find an endless array of world class restaurants, night clubs and activities that will keep even the most avid night owl satisfied!

The home is 8000 square feet with five bedrooms, five and a half bathrooms, high speed internet connection and WiFi, satellite TV, and stereo system. Outside covered patios are surrounded by a large infinity pool. A separate guest house with full bath is furnished with a king size bed and convertible queen sofa.

Activities in the area include world class sport fishing (200 lb Yellowfin tuna are not uncommon in the summer months), whale watching (Dec.-Mar.), Mariettas Islands snorkeling trips, big game (blue water) spear fishing, and 5-star dining both in Punta Mita and Puerto Vallarta. A number of golf courses are but a short drive away.

If you have been to Cabo San Lucas or Cancun and have found the pace just too 'busy', we suggest you schedule your next Mexican escape to Casa Rincon Pacific which means 'Peaceful Place'. Stroll from the pool to our own private beach where you can enjoy the sunset and watch the turtles play in the bay. We think you will truly enjoy your visit and will be back to Casa Rincon Pacific soon.

Great Property

  • 5 of 5

Stayed 8 days, enjoyed them all. 2 families, totalling 11 people, plenty of space for everyone. We had Martin cook 3 meals for us everyday and he was perfect. Benny made drinks for all and they were equally delicious.

The house was very clean and anything we needed was taken care of. No complaints at all. This was a great family holiday, no one wants to go home.

Nice but

  • 4 of 5

A group of 10 (5 couples) rented the house for 10 days January 2018. The house is very nice on a nice piece of property leading down to a beach. However there are a number of issues with the house that need to be addressed and I have let the owner know our concerns.

The house first off is not located where it is shown on the VRBO map. On the VRBO web site it indicates that the house is right in Punta Mita next to the Four Seasons resort. It is not there instead the house is very close to a resort called Palladium further to the east.

Outdoor lights not working properly which made it dangerous to walk down the steps at night. In fact one person in our group fell down them. The kitchen sink does not have a proper u sink trap and as a result of that sewer gases waft up and the smell permeates the whole house. Hot water is a problem, the house telephone does not work (we were provided with a cell phone to use) and wifi is good only for a few hours in the morning then nothing till late at night. Bedding and linen could be updated. Lastly there is construction noise going from Monday to Saturday from 8:30 am till 7:30pm. I realize that is totally out of the owners control but be warned its non stop.

This is an expensive rental and unfortunately there were too many deficiencies for it to live up to a five star rating.

Perplexingly subpar

  • 4 of 5

If it was not for Chef Martin and Chef Benny I would have rated this property lower. They took care of all 7 of us for breakfast, snacks, and dinner for 5 out of the 7 days; we could not be more grateful for both of them and would defiantly use them again. This property is in a beautiful location and the house size was more than enough for 7 adults. However, we ran into hiccups. I would have rated this property a 3.5 if it was not for the chefs, because we ran into some issues.

There was no hot running water from Sunday-Wednesday which you need to scrub the chlorine&salt water/sunscreen off/out daily. The chefs also needed it to clean the dishes.Ana mentioned it happen the day prior to our arrival but it seems to have been a bigger issue than the day before if a new water heater was needed. There was no washer/dryer when we arrived.House phone did not work until Wednesday. These items should have been fixed before any guest arrived. The fridge/freezer continued to leak. The maid did not finish her job on one of the days she came. There was no drinking water when we arrived. The smell of sewage was in the bathroom of Bedroom 2 which was the upstairs bedroom with the king bed.On top of that construction noise was all day during the day time, which would be difficult to control from a property managers position.Bug control, plumbing and appliances should be a high priority on the property mangers list of things to take care of. Ants, small spiders, and centipedes were through out the house so we could not leave a crumb in sight. There was so many ants/small bugs you just end up ignoring them.I would suggest putting a door bell and have the lights work for the main door or even a manual lock. I understand that chefs and maids need to come in daily. But having random people walk in the house that know the door code without knowing when they are coming can be a little hesitate especially when you are sleeping.Overall my family did have a relaxing time and nothing stopped us from having a joyous time. Your house is beyond beautiful but I think the suggestions would really help make it extraordinary.Thank you and God bless to everyone that helped us prior, during, and after our stay.

Owner's Response: As owners, the very last thing we want to have happen is an appliance malfunction while our house is being rented. Such was the case with this nice family enjoying the holiday together away from the hustle, bustle and cold weather. On top of the hot water heater breaking, the new washer and dry were delayed in being delivered and installed prior to their arrival. Although we were very prompt in getting a repairman to the Casa to fix the water heater, it was determined that a new unit was needed and the order, delivery and installation caused another day and half of delay. On top of this, the installation of the washer and dryer was most certainly an imposition to the tranquility of our home and the relaxation of our guests. We extended an offer to rent a nearby hotel room so our guests could shower. Although they chose to stay at the Casa through the repairs and not use the hotel, we felt obligated to issue a generous refund for their inconvenience. We deeply regret that these unexpected events transpired. Large hotels and 5 star resorts can cover up such mishaps, but a private home cannot. Our Casa and grounds are fumigated monthly - but we are in a tropical climate, in a jungle, on the coast - and insects are very much a part of this environment, even at the larger resorts. We are glad that our guests could bear with us through the repairs and still find time to enjoy each other, our wonderful chefs, and our special little piece of paradise.

Amazing stay at Casa Rincon

  • 5 of 5

Casa Rincon is as beautiful as the pictures. Communication with management was easy both before and during our stay. We hired Martin and Benny for 3 days and were so glad we did. The food and drinks were great and they were hilarious. The beach area was amazing. We only saw a few people out there the entire week. The kids loved exploring the caves and coves. We can't wait to go back.

Beautiful house in Mexican paradise for your large group

  • 5 of 5

Casa Rincon was a fantastic place for our group of 12 to stay during our visit to PVR. The house is magnificent and everything was beautiful. We loved being able to walk down to our private beach and watch the sunset. All of the bedrooms had amazing closets & showers and just immense size. The master suite itself is insanely huge. It was about a 45-60 min drive from the airport to the house. We really enjoyed the more secluded location farther away from the busy city but close to Punta Mita and Sayulita. We highly recommend visiting Sayulita nearby, a small & quaint surfing town about 20-30 mins from the house.

Although there was a hammock shown in the photos when we booked, the hammock in the master suite had to be taken down for safety/insurance reasons. The house had two kayaks and paddble board/boogie board which were awesome to use at sunset. We had plenty of kitchen supplies & beach towels and a washer/dryer to use. There was a hairdryer and iron board available. The wifi can be a spotty especially with a large group and everyone online.

Along with the house, we highly recommend booking Chef Martin for at least a few nights during your stay. He was beyond incredible and him and his partner, Benny, truly impressed us during our stay. They made fabulous meals for breakfast & dinner. We had professionally & beautifully cut up fruit, fresh made coffee, fresh squeezed orange juice, amazing appetizers, entrees & desserts. Even outside of these meals, Chef Martin & Benny made us margaritas & coconut-filled drinks along with fresh salsa & guacamole and freshly fried tortilla chips, all made at the house. They were extremely reasonable at $150 per day for their services excluding only grocery costs & gratuity. For our group of 12 adults, this came to about $500 total for drinks/foods and we provided them a $200 tip for the two days we hired them. We also had enough food leftovers to snack on for breakfast the next 2 days from the two days of service we hired them.

Owner's Response: Thanks, Troy - for such a great review. We are so glad you enjoyed your vacation at our beautiful villa. Although it is an escape into a private paradise, we are working on improving the Wi-Fi so our guests can stay connected to the real world of snow, rain, headlines and deadlines. We love to hear such great reviews for our Chef Martin and Benny. We agree - they are very special - and especially good at pleasing our guests. Please come vacation again!

Guestbook comments from the owner

Our family had a fantastic trip...probably the best we've ever had. The house was perfect and the chef service was phenomenal. Not only was Chef Martin a wizard in the kitchen but he and Benny are super friendly and welcoming. I can't recall ever eating that well for four straight days....We were blown away by the lush and manicured community grounds and the whole experience. My family will cherish that trip forever.
