The apartment is up two short flights of stairs. It is near the laundry and pool. There is dedicated covered parking. The pool was big and there are lots of chairs, tables and loungers. It got full sun until early afternoon.
The apartment has been redecorated and there's a new kitchen. Furniture is very nice. Bathroom is large with a shower/tub. There is lots of hanging space and drawers.
The kitchen has everything you need.
There was a big tv but it didn't get ESPN which was very annoying as the Masters was on.
Biggest disappointment is the bed. It should be replaced with a King. The linens are cheap and rough and the pillows flat. Money needs to be spent on quality sheets and pillows.
There is a hair dryer but it wouldn't work in the bathroom plug making it difficult to style your hair without a mirror in front of you.
The complex is quiet and there are BBQs provided. It's older and needs sprucing up.
There isn't a grocery store within walking distance but there is a Frys about 5 minutes drive. There is a CVS pharmacy across the street and a liquor outlet nearby.
It's very convenient to the 101 loop and a quick drive into Scottsdale Old Town.
We felt the condo served its purpose. The location was convenient to Old Scottsdale and to a number of Spring Training ballparks. The condo complex was older and surroundings were less appealing. The condo layout was nice and modern. There was a nice welcome basket. Ample kitchen and cleaning supplies. The bathroom was very small. Bathtub and shower were stained and grimy. The bed was squeaky and uncomfortable. Laundry facilities were in a separate building and were coin operated.
We stayed for the month of February . Upon check in there were a couple little problems that were promptly taken care of . The management is very courteous and saw to all our needs. This is on the third floor overlooking a central area, however there is a tree right in front of the balcony that blocks most of the courtyard. Not a problem as I enjoyed sitting on the deck with the morning sun filtered through the leaves. It has vaulted ceilings that give it a more spacious feeling . My only complaint is there are only four plates for eating . So the dishwasher must be run daily. Minor but annoying. I would recommend this unit .
Minutes away from golfing, hiking, shopping, freeways, movies and more.
