Jean purchased this house in 1996

Why Jean chose Frankfort

This property has dual benefits. From the house, the views are spectacular and the setting is private. The nearby beach and park area are wonderful for swimming & relaxing.

What a wonderful experience. A pristine and beautifully furnished home with so much to do in the surrounding areas. It's one of those places that's hard to put into words.

Felt right at home!

  • 5 of 5

We were lucky enough to be able to stay at this wonderful home for the whole month of July. From the day we arrived we felt right at home. It's a very clean and comfortable house with all the amenities you could need. It was child friendly for our 2.5 yr old and 10 month old. And there was more than enough space for our family of four and the occasional overnight visits from family and friends. And of course we were so happy to be able to bring our small dog for the vacation as well! The view is just great, and we spent so much time in the screened in porch having morning coffee, taking an afternoon nap, and playing cards at night. This place is truly a gem, and I hope that we'll be lucky enough to stay there again next summer. Thanks for everything Jean!

Perfect for the whole family!

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful week at the house and the views could not be beat! The best thing about the cottage was there was so much room for everyone to spread out. We still kept migrating to the beautiful kitchen and the screened in porch was a favorite too. Just a short drive to Frankfort, so we had lots of quiet and woodsy privacy but we spent many days at the beach as well. We drove up M22 to Sleeping Bear and headed to Crystal Mountain for some alpine sliding. Parents, grandparents and grandkids- and there was something for everyone here. So lovely!

A beautiful home

  • 5 of 5

We were at Crystal Lake for our son's wedding, so we wanted the best for our family, and we got it.

The house is perfectly sited and well appointed. All we wanted was somewhere offering what we enjoy at home, and it was just that.

The owner was really helpful, helping us with all the details we needed.

Plenty to do and close to the lake. Frankfort is a nice place and the whole locality is teeming with things to do. Charming people.

Book this house - it will make your holiday special. Needs more than 5 stars.

After reading the reviews, I figured no place could live up to them. Was I wrong! This place is perfectly magical. The home itself is fantastic - beautifully situated, great location, interesting architecturally, finely detailed, high end EVERYTHHING, well stocked, great views. The hosts were considerate, generous, attentive, conscientious, friendly, easy to work with. And too, it's simply a great spot. Every day we concocted wonderful itineraries and adventures, which was easy to do since the location was so great - the dunes (don't miss the scenic drive, especially the last stop), the beaches (my kids spent the entire day at the public beach down the road while I chatted with the friendly locals), the lighthouses (great rock hunting). It was the perfect vacation, and the rental was the jewel on the crown. Yes, it lives up to and beyond the reviews. Many thanks!!!!
