Our clean and cozy camp is surrounded by acres of woodlands, providing a great area for the perfect serene vacation. Built within the past ten years, this camp has shared the same foot print since first built in the '50s. Nestled on a small cove in the most northern part of the spring fed Trickey pond. Close enough to the ponds only outlet where you can sit back at night and listen to the rushing water. Only a short distance from many hiking trails, with crystal clear, spring fed water that is great for paddle boating and kyaking. A great winter get away with multiple ski trails within miles. Enjoy a romantic getaway in the beautiful town of Naples with close amenities like restaurants, river tours, mini golf, and more.
I am a simple carpenter with a life long dream to build a cabin in the woods.
I was lucky enough to find this slice of paradise on Trickey pond,
Then built a small and cozy camp with direct beach frontage to the cleanest pond in southern maine.
Dave Cederquist purchased this cabin in 2005

Tricky pond is a dream getaway, that I look forward to go every year. The best part is the breath taking view! We used the paddle boat to go to the island and had so much fun! Tricky pond cabin is clean, beautiful and the best weekend getaway I can think of! Can't wait to go back! Thanks Dave and Lynne we had the best time!!!! :-)
Awesome location! Great cabin! Clean, well kept, nice amenities! All cups, dishes, pots, and utensils included. There was a boat, paddle boat, kayaks, fishing polls, and grills waiting to be used! We were 30 minutes away from Portland, 3 hours away from bar harbor. It was to die for!! We will definitely be back! I love it there! Thanks again Dave!! 😁⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!!!
My wife and I had a wonderful long weekend here. The property is very clean and comfortable with everything you need to just come and enjoy from the paddle boat and row boat, , floats for swimming, kayaks, the grill, the hammock, they really have provided for so much. We will return again at some point and would recommend this place to anyone wanting a peaceful and relaxing lakeside retreat in Maine.
My husband and I had the pleasure of renting this cabin on the north end of Trickey Pond over Labor day weekend. We found the property to be extremely well maintained and everything was accurately described in the owner's listing. The cabin is the perfect size for two and the expanse of windows on the water side of the cabin affords you a constant view of life on the pond. I was struck by the fact that, despite there being a number of homes as well as a campground surrounding this pond, we always felt as though we were the only ones on the pond. There are no other homes visible from your vantage point at the cabin. A rare find these days! The kayaks the owner provides are a wonderful way to explore the pond and because the cabin sits in a no wake zone, due to nesting loons nearby, power boats rarely enter the north end of the pond. There are many amenities to enjoy a relaxing day at water's edge: boats,a hammock, a dock, 2 grills, a fire pit and several chairs. The exterior of the cabin can be well lit at night, if you wish, to venture out for a nighttime kayak adventure or simply enjoy a campfire and the sounds of the loons calling. Dave, the owner - contact, provides excellent customer service and promptly answers any and all questions you may have. It is obvious he is quite proud of his property and we are lucky that he shares it with guests. This is a lovely area of Maine to visit and and it provided us a restful and relaxing weekend. If you enjoy nature and lakeside living you won't be disappointed in your stay here!
Had a great stay in the cabin! We would highly recommend for anyone wanting to enjoy swimming, kayaking, or fishing - so easy to enjoy with pond access right there. Location was pretty secluded and quiet, making for an extremely relaxing stay, but close to town to enjoy the restaurants/bars or get supplies/ice cream. House itself was great - cozy, charming, and well maintained. Property owner was very responsive to all questions. Only advice for future residents would center around cooking - 1) gas grill has seen better days, so maybe plan to use the charcoal grill on the property and 2) depending on how much cooking you plan to do, may want to bring some of your own stuff. While there are lots of pots, we were sorry to not have a larger frying pan. Overall, would highly recommend and would consider returning.
Warm days, warm crystal clear water and cool nights all make August at this unique cabin on this Maine lake (it's called a pond but it's a mile and a half long) the perfect place to relax and enjoy the outdoors. Our days were spent sunning on the dock, enjoying hours of quiet reading, paddling the water in the kayaks, exploring the local area, hiking in the White Mountains and even hitting some golf balls at one of the 2 local courses. The cabin is modern and well equipped, spotlessly clean, wonderfully quirky, and makes you feel like you are outside even when you are in. This cabin is a special place. We will be back again.
nice clean cabin and pond for all seasons! which is very private, no other houses can be seen! yet 3 minutes from center of town.25 minutes to drive in movies,55 minutes to north conway New Hampshire.
Golf: Point sebago golf course ranked one of the best in the state of maine
Ski: being the heart of the lakes region equels mountains which adds up to more ski mountains with in an hour ride
