This luxury ground floor private 1 bedroom retreat is located in the 5-star Grande Rockies Resort. The suite has a king size bed, fully equipped kitchen with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances, gas fireplace, flat screen HDTV's both in living room and bedroom, wi-fi access. The condo id fully stocked for all your self catering needs. Please note that this condo does not have an in suite washer/dryer, there is a public laundromat located on Canmore Main Street less than 3 min drive away. Also this condo is ideally suited for two people, however it will accommodate up to a family of four (additional fees apply) as a pull-out double sofa bed is provided.. Guests have access to all of the resort's amenities which include the indoor pool with waterslide and kiddie pool, indoor and outdoor hot tub, spa, fitness centre, lobby lounge and underground parking. The in-house Habitat restaurant is fantastic. The condo is just a 5 minute walk from town and takes you past Elevation Place, Canmore's newest fitness center, with a mountain climbing wall. In town you'll find dozens of restaurants, boutiques, coffee shops and spas. Whether you like indoor or outdoor sports, hiking, golfing, biking, or just a quiet walk along the river, Canmore has it all!

Comfortable, modern condo with all the amenities

The condo is great! The location is just outside of downtown Canmore. Walking distance to shops, restaurants, and bars. Within a short drive of numerous hikes and outdoor endeavors as well as Banff. The hot tub and pool are great for relaxing after a long day on the trails! The bed is very comfortable and the whole place is very well kept. The scenery can't be beat! I highly recommend this space!

Great Condo in the Banff Area

Located about 20-25 minutes from downtown Banff, this Condo is very clean, has all the amenities that you need and was a great landing spot for a week. The underground parking was very convenient, outside deck was nice, and linens all were better quality. Overall, we would highly recommend this selection for someone who wants a quiet spot that is convenient to the Banff National Park.

Needs Help

Pictures are deceiving. This condo needs lots of upkeep. The floor and wood work throughout the condo were badly scratched and needed refinishing. Floors were clean however. I went barefoot and felt comfortable.

The bed creeks so badly my husband & I thought we were going to fall to the floor the first night. The bed duvet is so lumpy all the warmth is at the foot & sides.

The leather couch in the living area is barely usable for sitting. Thank goodness we did not have to use it to sleep on. The LR chair was comfortable but needed cleaning badly. The dining table and chairs worked fine but the table legs were all scratched up.

The owner touted in advert available "steam shower" but no instructions anywhere on how to operate it. A screw and washer lay in the bottom of the shower. One flex hose was connected to the shower wall and then, just hung inside shower. . . . not connected to anything. The standard shower head leaks badly.

There were two lights out in the kitchen fixture. The condo had only one extra roll of toilet paper stocked for us. We had to get our own. The Kleenex also was only a partial box. It did not last the week.

The underground garage takes some getting use to but worked okay once we figured it all out. This building is run as a hotel. All the rooms appear to be the same but they are not all privately owned. The common areas area disgraceful. It is not the standard my husband and I would typically rent.

As seniors this condo was not in walking distance to Towne Center, but there are several nice places very close. The Georgetown Inn has a great pub. The Le Fournil Bakery was just a short walk. And there is plenty of parking in town so, that was not any problem.

With all of these negetives, the one positive is the price. As best I can tell, we spent 1/2 of what most charge in this area. I would not want to stay here again, but others might for the price.

Wonderful Condo Stay

We stayed in this lovely little condo on a quick weekend trip to Canmore to do some bike riding. Unfortunately the weather did not co-operate but our stay in this property was great.

Ken was great to communicate with. Somehow when we arrived we did not have the entry codes and couldn't find them on our email. I emailed Ken and even though he was over-seas, he responded within minutes. He sent me the instructions and in no time we were unpacking for our short stay. The condo was very clean and we liked that it was on the end on the ground floor.

The condo is perfect for two people, comfortable and it was nice to have the cozy fireplace as it turned out to be a chilly weekend. We would not hesitate to book this property again.

Perfect place!!!

The apartment is very comfortable: bed, shower, the size of the unit, everything excelente! Besides that the localization is perfect because we can go around all the city just walking. 2-3 minuts from the main markets, pharmacy, gym. And also: Ken is a gentlement! Always avilable to help us in everything. Thank you!!!

Great stay, we'd definitely come back.

We stayed for 5 weeks at Ken's and can attest to the fact that Canmore is a lovely town and this is a beautifully kept apartment with everything you need.

In terms of amenities, the indoor/outdoor jacuzzi (and waterslide) is a real treat and the underground, heated car park is fabulous in winter (no scraping ice or shovelling snow!).

Yes, there is a little road noise, but in winter with the doors and windows closed you really don't notice. Additionally, the hot water in the kitchen can be a little slow, but this is resolved if you turn the shower on and run it for a little while.

Great stay, we'd definitely come back.
