Ground Floor Condo With Access To Private BBQ Patio And Lawn Area.

This luxury ground floor private 1 bedroom retreat is located in the 5-star Grande Rockies Resort. The suite has a king size bed, fully equipped kitchen with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances, gas fireplace, flat screen HDTV's both in living room and bedroom, wi-fi access. Please note that this condo does not have an in suite washer/dryer, there is a public laundromat located on Canmore Main Street less than 3 min drive away. Also this condo is ideally suited for two people, however it will accommodate up to a family of four (additional fees apply) as a pull-out double sofa bed is provided.. Guests have access to all of the resort's amenities which include the indoor pool with waterslide and kiddie pool, indoor and outdoor hot tub, spa, fitness centre, lobby lounge and underground parking. The in-house Habitat restaurant is fantastic - menus are provided. The condo is just a 5 minute walk from town and takes you past Elevation Place, Canmore's newest fitness center, with a mountain climbing wall. In town you'll find dozens of restaurants, boutiques, coffee shops and spas. Whether you like indoor or outdoor sports, hiking, golfing, biking, or just a quiet walk along the river, Canmore has it all!

Better than a hotel....

Enjoyed this unit for its quiet and comfortable surroundings. Kitchen and shower were great. Would book again. Loved indoor parking.

Good value, near downtown

Clean, near downtown, however, missed having a washer & dryer and complex was not overly appealing with longgggg hallways. Large indoor/outdoor jacuzzi and pool slide was fun.

Clean but small

Unit was clean, but very small, and had some minor maintenance issues during our stay (such as a 5+ minute delay for hot water to reach the sink or shower). Shower stall was kinda like a glass fish tank, and small as well. We enjoyed the fireplace, and the facility pool and jacuzzi after our long hikes (ask front desk for access code). Ask owner if you need more than 4 sets of towels (stored in locked closet). Owner was quick to respond to email queries. We slept well, but the creaking bed/mattress seemed to be caving in, and we could hear every car pass by on the adjacent highway. Underground parking is probably useful in the winter but seemed somewhat tight for parking full-size vehicles (and no angled spots). Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Good value for the dollar spent!

Clean and functional. The condo served as a nice base for us to explore all the parks in the area. Easy access, underground parking, unit includes everything including a good grill. Surprisingly quiet for backing up to busy road, hardly even noticed. Had some hot water issues come and go, no big deal just a long wait for heated water. You need a pilots license to run some of the advanced functions on the fancy shower pod, fortunately the standard mode is easy. Otherwise everything was just as advertised, we are happy we chose Ken's place! Communication and instructions for use were great!

Good overall impression, good location

Only suggestion would be to replace the beds. The hide a bed was particularly uncomfortable. The bedding (ie) pillow cases etc did not fit the pillows and the pillows were not comfortable. The quality of bedding needs upgrading to compliment the rest of the condo.

The owner did provide good customer service to a question we sent him with a prompt reply. The property was clean and well maintained. The listing description was accurate. Unfortunately, the traffic noise on the busy street next to the property was annoying.

The pool area was particularly great (we were visiting grandchildren in Canmore) and it was certainly a hit with the kids. It is a very nicely kept property, close to amenities (could walk downtown for example). The Chez Francois Restaurant was a great place for breakfast.

We would recommend this property to friends and relatives.

Wonderful location and condo.

We just returned from spending a fantastic week in Canmore at Ken's condo. The condo was squeaky clean, well equipped, and in a great location. Very comfy bed. Canmore is a great base for exploring Canmore, Banff, lake Louise and surrounding area. Great hiking and outdoor activities. Lots to do in Canmore alone. Ken responded to questions. Would recommend to others.
