This home is simply magnificent. It was perfect for our family of ten. Between the basketball/racket ball court, swimming pool, foosball table, dvd's & games our four grandchildren, ages 3-9, were thoroughly entertained. The fully equipped kitchen, along with the impressive dining room table that accommodated all of us, was such a treat. The master suite is equally elegant & spacious. The other two king bedrooms, each with deck & awesome lake view, were quite comfortable for our group. Having two separate living rooms, each with large flat screen TV, was an added bonus. There was not a square inch of this gorgeous home that we did not enjoy! Owner Steve, is the kindest man you'd ever want to work with. His one goal is that you thoroughly enjoy your visit.
Five stars does not seem enough! We will be planning a do-over next year.
My family started arriving on Thursday 10/06.I called the owner (who was very nice, but nice didn't matter at the time!) before my arrival only to find out that the deck off the master was too dangerous to use and the door to the deck was nailed shut. This was to be my retreat. Very disappointed, but already paid and could not get refund. By Thursday, upon arrival, we found that the indoor pool was not working, the downstairs bathroom flooded. Friday the maintenance came but he was "too busy" to fix it so we had to just shut off the water to the toilet which only lead to methane gas leaking into the house!! Owner called a plumber who never showed up. You can imagine the smell throughout the house by the time we left! The upstairs bathroom leaked and water dripped through a light fixture on the second floor.
Friday, the smoke alarm went off downstairs, caused by the dehumidifier. Saturday night, my son in law was awaken to a grinding sound which turned out to be the pool pump (which explains why the maintenance man turned off the pool before our arrival. Something else he probably didn't have time to fix, in my opinion. I spent 3 hours washing towels on the night before I left as we had to use so many of them to 'sop up' the water leaks.
We had 13 people in the house. We were able to enjoy the deck tremendously. By the day we left, there was such an odor throughout the house from the bottom floor toilet, it was intolerable. My grandson, who has asthma which has been under control for 2 years, had to take breathing treatments 3 x a day because he was sleeping and playing in the house.
The kitchen floor had a dangerous 2 or 3 inch buckle in it. Several times during our stay if you left the dining room and turned too tight, you would trip over the floor
I hope this is not too mumbo jumbo, but you can imagine that we will never return to this house.
This was our groups first time renting a home. Now I have a feeling we are spoiled. The owner took the time to walk me through the entire house and was very descriptive with what was in the house. The kitchen is perfect for large groups. Basketball court served as a huge playpen for all our kiddo's it was very nice considering it was 100* during our trip.
We loved the house!! There is not enough we could say about the indoor basketball court and pool!! It was the bomb.com!!!
The kitchen was awesome to cook in and we just cooked up a storm!!! THhe house was so beautiful and the beds were so comfortable!! I loved it!! If I go back to branson, definitely we are back at this beautiful home!!!
There is not enough I can say about this home!!! Everything you want in a vacation home! Indoor basketball court, indoor pool, immaculate home!!! Plenty of sleeping space, two separate living areas, huge table to enjoy our dinner at!! I was in awe at how beautiful it was!!! The kitchen was our favorite hangout!! It had everything we need to cook for breakfast and our late night snacks that we enjoyed while playing games which the owner provided!! My team loved the basketball court and pool! We played basketball and cooled off in the pool with a game of volleyball. The house was very close to all of the amenities in Branson!!! It was simply amazing!! The owner was very personable with me. He actually talked me through the whole check in process and made me aware of things that I would normally have questions about. I rent houses all the time and never talk to the owners! I feel like Steve and I are buddies!!! He is awesome!! I would recommend this house to anyone! The best one I have rented so far. I rent two houses a year, and this one is at the top of the list!! Not to mention that we had all of the necessary toiletries that we needed as well. We didn't have to buy tissue, paper towels, or garbage bags. It was all provided!!! I have to buy these things in other homes I rent. I am soooo impressed with the hospitality that was shown to us!! The house once again was the bomb dot com!!!!!!
We had three families in this house and didn't know how everyone would get along. Answer? No one left for three days! Our ages ranged from 5 to 70 and we had three teenage boys in the mix of 12 people. The pool was the biggest hit, but the basketball court came in a close second. There are three levels, each with a deck, that provided everyone "breathing room." The kitchen is well stocked with cooking utencils, and there's plenty of room for several cooks. The one time we had to go to the grocery store, took less than 10 minutes and avoided the Hwy 76 crawl. The owner ws very helpful, and answers all questions.
